Get lost with your size 12!!!!!!

Glad you got your appointment though!! Not long now!!
Helsbels, grt news!! Mine's the opposite - high in the pelvis, wonder if that means boy or girl????

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 10:41

I'm still sqeezing into me size 12's Says she sitting here with all buttons undone on her trousers!

I have got a long cardigan on though - dont worry

madgirl · 28/01/2004 11:23

anyone got any "tricks" for trying to suss out if it is a boy or girl? i don't really want to know for sure but i love these things!

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 11:27

I'd be interested in this too Madgirl - I don't want to find out for sure but love these type of things.

Anyone got any idea's then?

I done one last week on internet which said boy. Am i the only person that finds it really stange that for virtually the whole 9 months, the baby is there, it is either a boy or a girl yet no-one knows - I just find it one of those really strange things that the baby is inside you for all of that time either being a girl or boy and we don't have the feintest idea 1 DP thinks i'm weird!

Quackers · 28/01/2004 11:27

The heartbeat is supposed to be quicker for a girl than a boy. I don't really know any other except the chinese gender predictor, think you can do it on www.babycentre.co.uk. My DD was a DS according to that though!

Helsbels · 28/01/2004 11:28

I think that we ought to run a book on it!!Who's having what and then compare at the end of July!

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 11:41

We could start a baby pool. Everyone could guess the date the baby will arrive, what sex and what weight.

No prizes but could be fun

Quackers · 28/01/2004 11:45

Great idea!!!!
Got the wrong site BTW. Done a link for you to make up !
here

Quackers · 28/01/2004 11:47

Shall I start??
I think I will deliver a week late. So I'll say August 5th (Dad's birthday)
6 pounds 5 ounzes, as DD was 5 pounds 15 ounzes
I think it will be a boy

Let's see!!!!!!!!!
Next please???

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 11:56

Me next, Me next ! !

I think i will deliver 7th July
Baby will weigh 8lb 2oz
and will be a girl

God, watch me be soooooo wrong! !

Helsbels · 28/01/2004 12:53

SC you will have a girl, Quacks you will have a boy and so will Madgirl.
I will have another boy on 20th July (dad's birthday) about 7lb 7 2 hour labour - no pain relief because no pain

Oh, littlerach will have a girl (a bit early, I think maybe 38 weeks)

Mystic Meg eat your heart out

Quackers · 28/01/2004 13:20

If you're right Helsbels, I'll give you the money myself!!!!

madgirl · 28/01/2004 13:23

ok i think i am having a boy (so agree with you Helsbels! - are you just having a laff or are you really russel grant in disguise- imagine ) and he will be 5 days late, so arrive on 14th July and weigh 7 13.

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 13:23

Your scaring me now Helsbels cos you knew i was pregnant even before i knew!

How spooky would it be if you are right!!!

OMG - Can't wait to find out now

madgirl · 28/01/2004 13:25

anyone due in july doing any work today? meant to say, i predict that i will have as much pain relief as exists!!

Quackers · 28/01/2004 13:36

No, I never do any work at this place unless I can help it!!!
Feeling good though now. I remember feeling like this with DD and just really loving being pg!!! I thrive on it!!! (Just miss the booze)!!!!

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 13:52

Me neither - not in the right frame of mind for working today

Wonder if Helsbels will be right - family history points at the baby being a boy but whenever i think about the baby or talk about it i always see a girl! Guess we'll all know soon enough

I'm missing the booze more and more now - i would uite often have a glass of wine in the evenings and quite happily drink a few bottles over the course of a weekend - going from that to absolutely zilch is taking it's toll! Never mind it's for a good cause - even if i do keep picturing a nice cool bottle of Jacobs Creek Mmmmmmmmmmm

M2T · 28/01/2004 13:53

Helsbels - Do me please.... DO MEEEEEEEE???

I would love to know what your prediction is for me.

madgirl · 28/01/2004 13:57

helsbels is this for real?
i'm not too bad on the booze this time, but then again my darling dh has given up with me! he drinks when he is out of night on his own with mates but apart from that not at all what a star. ashamed to say that despite giving up 6 months ago and having started again (after 3 years of giving up) the day after i gave birth to ds, i am really struggling on the smoking front. sometimes i feel like i'm gonna live my whole life wanting a cigarette

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 14:11

I'm no helsbels but i think M2T will have another boy - 7lb 14oz!

Helsbels · 28/01/2004 14:13

M2T a girl for you, I think.
I look a bit like Russell Grant and am daily looking more like him!! No, I'm not that clever, hust sometimes have feelings. Quacks is really strong and I've always seen Jems with a girl

Jems one glass won't hurt now as long as you can stop after it!!

Helsbels · 28/01/2004 14:15

sorry sc posts crossed - no I think a girl for M2T but you never know, the 'feeling' could have rubbed off on you

M2T · 28/01/2004 14:21

Helsbels I really hope you are right!! But... going by family history I think its a boy. I will find out at my 20wk scan I'm having done privately. So only 7 or 8 weeks to go before I reveal all.

7lb 14oz SC??? I think that's definitely big enough for me. Ds was 7lb 1oz and I swear that was all in his head. lol.

Helsbels · 28/01/2004 14:25

M2T yes- let us know asap!! I'm sure this one is another boy - I hope so as I have thousands of pounds worth of boys clothes in the loft!! We were given loads of designer gear by a friend so were very lucky. If it is a girl she'll be a real tomboy!!!

SpringChicken · 28/01/2004 14:27

Oh are you really going to find out M2T? i am sooooo curious but think i would be dissapointed with myself if i found out before the birth!

Didn't have any psychic feelings btw, just what i think M2T will have - M2T, i'd go with Helsbels, she was dead right about me being PG even before i'd tested or thought of testing

That's my problem Helsbels, don't think i coudl stop after just one so best not to have any at all - might treat myself on a special occasion but other than i'm T Total
