I hate to blame hormones but I am all over the shop lately so I think it must be down to those rotten chemicals.

I had a short nap this afternoon with my three in front of the TV and I am even grumpier now that I am awake. How is that possible?

yingers74 · 28/09/2005 22:05

nemo and cadmum - tah, nice to know I am not alone. I can't wait for the baby to be born and hopefully with her birth, my dd might see the back of mum from hell. I know it will be hard but having my body back will be great!

ANd what do these squares mean?

Nemo1977 · 28/09/2005 22:06

cadmum i always feel worse if I have a nap and yet cant stop myself ..lol

yingers squares are toilet paper test.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 29/09/2005 00:06

Girls.... IM BACK!

I knew i couldnt stay away too long, and to be honest, after thrashing it out with Munz and another MNer, i feel loads better!

With you all on the knackered front!!! Cant believe i m still sat here at this time, but i just cant get comfortable enough to sleep!

OP posts:
munz · 29/09/2005 07:48

did u thrash it out with me? oh ok then - good to have u back girl! hopefully baby will be nicely browing and out soon so u can get back to 'normal' hormones - what ever that is! lol.

cadmum - it was promise didn't cheat - 7 squares- did have a slight podge b4 PG thou still at sk's 25 weeks and only 7 squares! only one more sleep till DH is home.

agree TP is a much healthier way of measuring one's self! lol.

well am ahem fining it hard ot go to the loo again -do u guys get horrid pains across the lower bump when u can't go no 2? felt a flutter this monring thou, so think bean wants me to go- body's just not cooperating!

have found my DH the past week looking at ahem sites which bother me - normal porn sites don't but these are ahem wispers bondage runs off furiously blushing - I wouldn't mind but he's always too tired for me - and he can't understand why i'm so down about it. am I just being touchy? as I say 'normal' porn I have no issues with but this stuff is a bit much I think - or am I a prude? is this normal PG hormones?

dramaqueen72 · 29/09/2005 08:29

morning ladies
dh has finally set my wireless network up, so have laptop and computer to connect to you by! I will never get off here!!!!!!
rom glad george found that stick for you, hope its lifechanging!! what about the homeo stuff?
cadmum, actully no, of course i didnt mind your thoughts on the scan. its pretty much what I was thinking but not wanting to face. now, i feel better, and back to teh posititve things are 99.99% to be fine and I just get to see a whole week earlier!
er.yes pg makes me cranky. i ache, i'm tired and yet i cant sleep well. everyone get the rough edge of my tongue. esp my 13yr old right now, who quite frankly would make the pope swear I think. I hate feeling so grouchy of often but its how it is. roll on next summer when i may be back to normal!!
I am just a tiny bit under ten squares...........and very proud of that! took ages to get past teh eight and abit stage, so delighted seomthings growing well!!! might all be homemade brownies but..........

romilly · 29/09/2005 13:35

DQ and george: you are both my saviours i have ordered the "muti" stick along with vast quantities of "preggie pops drops" and other goodies from that great site. thnks to both of you for helping me out. i'll let you know if its any good. i have actually been sick less this week, although i still occasionally have bad moments - so touch wood, i am hoping it is easing off... dont want to speak to soon.

cadmum - i know it is weird, despite all the puking, my bump is big - it is just the rest of me that seems to be suffering... skin, filthy stinking cold etc...

i have full admiration for all you 2nd/3rd/4th timers - dont know how any of you cope with kids and pregnancy - it is bad enough trying to cope with a full-time job, which ends at 6pm, - kids are 24/7 with no lunch break! so hats off to nemo, cadmum, yingers, dqueen and J&BM and friz. dont worry about occasionally losing your cool, i am sure you are all wonderful mums.

munz - i can see why you would be upset by the porn/bondage thing right now. maybe you should talk to him about it, in a non-confrontational way if poss.

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 13:38

ooo rom I used preggie pops with baby lost last xmas as I was awful wiht Ms..they were fab..think the constant saliva helped..lol

JABM glad your back hun..your bound to be flouncing at the min..bless..lol

Munz is oyur dh back tonight or tommorow.

hi to all else..been busy bee today but wont go into it as people will start thinking i am mad soon..just say have been very very very domesticated today..is it possible to nest at 7mths????????

munz · 29/09/2005 13:42

rom - that's the plan for tonight - althou also seen the bank statement so there will be words about that anyways, he's gone thru over £100 in a week up at camp buying lunch i'm assuming, and half of that week he didn't work. nemo - he's home now,

anyhow how r u girls getting on?

how's the sickness rom?

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 13:44

£100 on lunches??????????????????

munz · 29/09/2005 13:47

yes exactly nemo - esp as he's been telling me he eats in the cook house - I don't be grudge him spending money don't get me wrong, but I begrudge £100 on lunches when there's a fridge of food, and not to mention the cook house is free hot meals! esp when we've got baby stuff to buy etc and bills to pay.

Cadmum · 29/09/2005 14:08

Oh munz... You have your hands full with your own little boy, it sounds. I can see why you are upset. 100GBP (that is $240 in my world) on lunch sounds worse than my DH and he doesn?t have a fridge full of food nor a wife to cook it at the moment... You must talk to him.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 29/09/2005 14:09

munz.... get him on MSN to me tonight.... ill give him what for.

OP posts:
Cadmum · 29/09/2005 14:12

Hi Romilly, glad you are feeling somewhat better. Hope the stick and the candies help even more. The doppler I rented came with free preggie-pops but my children ate all but one of them!!!

DQ: Wireless is fantastic! Hope to see you on here more often. I am so glad that you are not annoyed with me for sticking my nose in your business re the scan.

dramaqueen72 · 29/09/2005 14:30

LOL cadmum at your children eating preggy pops sounds like my house, put anything down for a moment and someone eats it.

rom, was thanking god for dd2 today, she may only be 2, but if she didnt do al the picking up from floor for me I could never cope right now! am at the def dont bend in middle stage now!!

um, munz........ thats alot of cash!!! do add an extra shout for me when you have a go. silly silly men, why are they all mentally 12 still?

munz · 29/09/2005 14:38

caddy/DQ - oh beleive me I intend to - apparently he's late tonight as he's playing enemy for the exserice (sp) so will be having mega words - and under protest he can do his own tea!

JM - if there's anything left after i've finished I'll let u have a go! lol. normally takes at least one good arguement to get things sorted out, so hopefully things will look up tomorrow.

(grumbles off!)

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 29/09/2005 14:40

munz - he is the bloody enemy at the moment. Told my DH about this and he is so that ANYONE could spend that sort of money......

OP posts:
munz · 29/09/2005 14:45

well I could if I was out shopping- but not just on bloody lunches for the week (well by week I mean, tues, weds, thurs (24 hr) sat (24 hr) and mon (24 hr) there was 2 days of withdrawls one was £50 in one day the other £40 with card payments in between in the shop - so I know what he's bought in the shop. i've a good mind when he gets paid tomorrow to go shopping in town and gets some new bits for me.

also looks like the army have messed up his pay - we got paid £22 yesterday - don't know what for - bloody useless!

munz · 29/09/2005 14:46

JM - would u mind asking ur DH bout the relationships thread I started to see what his take on things r?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 29/09/2005 15:48

have added my tuppence worth!

george32 · 29/09/2005 18:41

Glad the site helped Rom. DP found it & ordered some Zita West things for my birthday - I thoroughly recommend the zw massage oil as it smells gorgeous. Hope your things stop you being so sick.
Cadmum, LOL at your kids eating the preggie pops

Oh dear Munz, sounds like war in your house tonight. My DP is the same when it comes to money, who know what will happen over the next year when we have to rely on his wage only. I hope you manage to get everything resolved.

romilly · 29/09/2005 18:42

munz - good luck with tackling certain issues with your d/h tonight

DQ - very pleased to hear that your DD is proving helpful! sounds like you have them well-trained. is your next scan at about 28 weeks then?

george - when do you stop working? it must be very soon now isnt it? once again must thank you for finding that site for me, just been back on and stocked up on a load of lavender essential oil goodies - helps me sleep. and i do love my sleep these days

i was v. unimpressed with the 'empathy' factor from my boss this morning. i had to take this week off sick from work because i had this stinking cold, and combined with the anaemia and sickness it frankly did me in. anyway to cut a long story short, i spoke to him on the phone today and he barely asked how i was, instead making a big point of asking whether he gets any money back from the government when i am sick, due to pregnancy this is when i have only taken a total of sick leave of one week (this week) and 3 days (earlier in the month). i actually took a couple of weeks of my own holiday time off when i was puking 8 times a day - and as far as he was concerned i was on holiday ( i hadnt yet told him i was pg.) enough ranting but i am totally furious with him - all he cares about is himself and his bank account.

george32 · 29/09/2005 18:53

Rom, at your boss.
That is terrible. Make sure you take off as much time as you need sick now. There is nothing he can do about it. Either that or be sick on his shoes - he will soon get you to go home ill then.
Makes me realise how lucky I have been with my company this year.

Only 11 days to go for me and I just can't wait.

Nemo1977 · 29/09/2005 19:00

apparently rom..not 100% but this is what my work did..any sickness related to pregnancy did not go on my sickness record. Am sure there is a law to say this but not certain. You are entitled to any time of you need in regards to pregnancy related issues...try and find info online and then print it out to give to him..lol

romilly · 29/09/2005 19:07

i like both those ideas nemo and george - esp. keen on the one about chucking up on his shoes! he's a bloody ungrateful sod, the amount of times i have struggled in, even at huge expense to myself getting cabs cause i couldnt risk throwing up on public transport - and that is what he comes out with. he is a supreme jerk.

very of your 11 days left george!
