Hello Ladies,

Hope everyone is well.

HC what do your girls like? Pasta? I get Mimi to help with the cooking sometimes, and she's more inclined to eat it then. Things like layering the lasagne or just stirring the sauce. Breaking the spaghetti in half is one of her favourites! Joey on the other hand has no interest, but has to be bribed by removing/adding an extra five minutes play on the Wii. Maybe get them little aprons to wear as well... HTH.

Love the photos Spin!! Both are getting so grown up... I love the one of Chi and the snake!!!! It's real, right!? Wink
How you feeling, meds-wise these days?

CB great that Josh is doing well in school as well!!

Keep posting girls!! Wine

In-laws are down for half-term so WineWineWine x x x

HumphreysCorner · 22/02/2011 18:09

Annie-my mum has discovered what the problem was. Em thought that everything she ate would make her fat so I blame myself for being on a diet. Anyhoo, she is eating again and has had 4 biscuits at hot chocolate time this morning. They both love pasta but Sophie is now the one taking hours to eat a tiny bit. They have aprons and do help for a millisecond. Grin

Been in the house all day today as my new best friend was poorly. It was a challenge so going out the rest of the week.

Having a Wine with you Annie. My inlaws are back home on the 5th March after 5 weeks in Spain, it has been so relaxed as I knew they couldn't just turn up.

Love to all!

Boo!

It's all gruesome near me with the discovery of body parts. Keep scanning the ditches for the remaining parts. Ew!!

The girls are fine and Matthew is such fun so all well here. Smile

Keep in touch girls!

Gosh HC, what's happened? Is it on the news?

Glad Emma is eating well again. They do go through phases don't they!

All ok in my house. Well, DH and I aren't getting on very well, can't really talk to him, he's rather grumpy... Anyway, have been scaring myself reading all the relationships threads!

Getting ready for Joey's party, still a month to go but starting to organise it now, invitations are out, ebay stuff ordered! He's have a Wii tournament, so only 8 boys in our house so the politics of who to invite or not, is stressful! One of his 'friends' pushed him over into a puddle at school, so he's not invited!

Mimi is doing great at school - reading etc is really coming on. She does wee herself a lot though, at home (not at school for the moment) and it's getting waring now... anyone else with issues like this? It's just that she leaves it too late I think but it Keeps Happening...

Hope everyone else is well Grin

HumphreysCorner · 09/03/2011 10:03

Hey Annie, sorry things are not so good with DH. Is hw worried about work or anything else? Do NOT read those relationship threads.

MIL's road still closed while they search for a head, arm and leg.

Hi Girls

Hope all are good!

Sorry HC, I know the subject matter isn't funny but genuinely have tears rolling down my cheeks at
"MIL's road still closed while they search for a head, arm and leg.
"

That's a quote of the week if I ever saw one Grin - have they found anything yet?

Glad your lovely three are doing well Smile

Hope things are better today Annie. HC's right, keep away from those mad Relationship threads!

Hiya to Spin, Ceebee, Impy et al Smile

All fine here, uneventful really. Emma's doing okay at school, starting to read properly which is amazing. Still trying to get my arse into gear with freelance work, hopefully things will happen soon.

Anyway bed is calling - big Wine to all (gotta love that emoticon, haven't you!) xxx

HumphreysCorner · 13/03/2011 20:42

Hi all

Still no sign of that illusive head, right arm and right leg. I know it is gruesome but it it like living in a Midsomer Murder village. Emma and I keep our eyes peeled for black bin bags. Grin

Annie-hows things?

Pixel-lovely to hear from you. Smile

Have cut the grass today and trimmed all those bushes killed by the snow. Am hoping they will find the will to live again! Matthew wandered round the garden all day so at least went to bed tired.

Big wave to all!

Hey everyone - have been awol again Blush

Seriously, I don't know where the time/days/weeks/months etc are going - I just feel I am on a treadmill at the moment.....

Am also bloody knackered thanks to Sam deciding that 5.30am is a reasonable time to start his day everyday fgs!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated Wink

Have got parents evening on Tuesday - can already guess what the teachers will say - I suspect it will be something along the lines of 'Josh is reading well, his number work is fantastic but his general behaviour leaves a bit to be desired' Grin He definitely suffers from 'cheeky boy' syndrome (if it exists)!

HC can't believe there is a chopped-up body around you Shock - kind of gross but exciting at the same time Wink

Hi to everyone xx

AnnieWinehouse · 17/03/2011 09:36

Hello All!!

Happy Paddy's Day Grin

Good to hear from you part-timers!!

CB no tips for the early mornings, sorry, but they will pass eventually I promise. Just accept it for now and one day you will wake up and realise, hey it's 7am!
At least he sleeps through.
How did Parents' Evening go? Mimi had hers too last week, all is fine. A bit quiet, but overall very happy with her and doing well. It's quite general in reception really, Joey's year 1 meeting was much more detailed, with grades and everything! He's doing really well too, even his handwriting is starting to come on now.

HC, things are much better at the moment, thanks. For now! Have they found the rest of the bits yet?

Pix, great to hear from you too! Love to Emma

We're off to Ireland this weekend for my brother's wedding, so should be fun! And exhausting...

Slainte x x x

HumphreysCorner · 17/03/2011 10:25

Happy St. Paddys Day Annie! Have a great one and enjoy your trip. No more body parts found as yet so I am still looking. Grin

Sophie is learning bits of French at school but did wonder why she kept saying Oliver until we realised it is au revoir! Bless her.

Soooo cold here especially as we have no heating. PIL have taken pity on us and ordered some oil so hope it comes soon so we don't have another freezing night.

Big wave!

LOL at Oliver! Clever Sophie x

PixelHerder · 17/03/2011 17:41

Happy St Paddy's day Annie, and everyone!

Had to come on just so I could use these Shamrock Shamrock Wine Shamrock Shamrock Grin

lol at Oliver HC - it's so funny to hear them speaking forrin! Emma's bobbing around going Ola - Kettle and Bon Joor !

Have a great weekend Annie, hope you're getting the old liver into training in preparation! Fab pics on FB - gorgeous ones of Mimi being a laydeee Grin And you look so glam and youthful Envy I did a bit of a double take at the one of her in her school uniform and shades, thinking 'eh, I don't remember putting any photos of Emma up'

Hiya Ceebee Smile Hope that early morning waking gets knocked on the head soon! I've heard that those bunny clocks are supposed to be good, but don't know if Sam's old enough yet. Other than that dunno - can you pretend to him that the clocks have changed when they haven't or something

Fine here, got meeting with the teacher next week. She's growing up at a frightening rate, you can almost see her legs getting longer by the day Shock I think last term's summer uniform is too small already Sad

Anyway better get on, soup won't make itself (and it's nearly Wine time, hurrah).

xx

HumphreysCorner · 18/03/2011 11:22

Am tee total at present due to excess consumption on Tues night Blush Usually I am back on it the next day but ew, not this time!
