Bloss - that is so sad that your mum has deteriorated so quickly, big hugs to you. I'm sure you're doing the absolute best for her, but it's very hard on you all. On a brighter note, hope DH's party went well, how was it?

Well we have no snow at all here now - had a couple of inches on Saturday which got rained away on Monday, quite a relief really. Emma's not impressed though. And it's a balmy 2 degrees! Emma is excited about Santa, she has a streaming cold bless her but she gets up every now and again and strokes the chocolate balls on the tree We are mainly doing Sylvanian Families here this Christmas (if Mr Amazon manages to deliver). Oh and a purple scooter! So excited!!

Ok here then!

SM, metho didn't work for me at all, but it had a huge effect on my liver function so was stopped after about six weeks. I take it you are having regular bloods if you know what the your ESR is doing. It's tough, I know but you will find something that works. Hang in there.

How is everyone else? I have booked a Spanish holiday for August and can't wait. The girls are so excited about going on an aeroplane, don't know how I will manage with Matthew on my knee for over 2 hours.

Diet not going that well so need to pull my finger out if I am to get into my slinky bikini.

He'll be grand on your knee on the plane. Done it a few times with my two. Just bring plenty of distractions for when he has to be buckled in, eg food!! Where in Spain are you going?

Bloss, your post brought tears to my eyes. So sorry about your mum. I too think about you all very much and am that the thread is almost gone.

spin-how is things? Keep hearing about bad weather in Aus.

Annie-how are you doing?

Matthew is 16 months now and walking lots. The time has flown so quickly but he is adorable. Have a great new friend who has a little girl the same age as Matthew so we meet up 3 times a week even though she is 11 years younger than me.

Sophie is doing well at school, parents evening soon so will get an update.

Emma passed her hearing test at the hospital with flying colours so school can rule that one out.

I am sticking to my diet and have lost 6 lb so far but doesn't look like I have lost any this week.

Going for a weekend in the caravan at the end of Feb and looking forward to our hols in Spain in August. 3 children on an aeroplane????

Busy helping DH with his HR work and recruitment. Loving it as I can work from home in my own time.

Still trying to persuade DH to have another baby but not looking too hopeful.

Great that Matthew is doing well, HC!I can't believe he's 16 months!! He was only just born!

Mimi is also doing well at school. She is able to read now, well at least small words! She's good at sounding out so she's really getting there. She sometimes doesn't want to go though because there are naughty boys there... but she's always really proud of anything she brings home and her books. She does have a few toilet issues though...

Hope everyone else is well - nice that at least we still have FB to nose about on each other!!!

HC - can't believe you are thinking about baby no.4 - you are one crazy woman

Annie - so glad Mimi is doing well - can only imagine what some of the girls in Josh's class think of him and his friends

Josh is also doing well at school - he is reading well and has mastered sounding out words but it can be hard trying to get him to sit down and do it! His drawing has developed very quickly over the last few weeks and we can (almost) tell what things are now

Sam is also great - most of the time he is such a happy, cheeky (and very cute!) little boy Am I allowed to say that I love Mondays when it is just me and him at home?? I love having the 1-2-1 time with him that I had with Josh for 2 years!

Hope everyone else is ok (and lurking somewhere).

Ay up spin, don't you normally get Hula Hoops and Twiglets in Aus? Glad you do now.

All OK here but anyone know how I can get my girls to eat anything I make for tea??????
