Hi all

Am back from the lovely Espana, can't wait to return in 3 years. Will be starving the children to save up for it-lol!

Can't believe my Soph is going into year 1 Shock She still seems to talk in baby speak.

Matthew is nearly 2 and still babbling in a foreign language, probably sounded like a native in Spain!

Hope all OK.

Hi all

Annie-we went back to Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol. Last went there 9 years ago BC (before children) and it was still lovely. Been back a week and the weather here is awful and I have an urge to jump on a plane and go back. Where did you go?

sm-yes, they are all in yr 1 apart from Roshi. Think Sophie is going to be OK, a bit tired to start with maybe. Sorry you are stll not well. :(

Big wave to everyone else. :)

Oh spin you poor thing. Hope you find something to make you better. If the mtx wasn't working then there must be something the rheumy can do no?

HC Costa del Sol sounds lovely! Been there many years ago too, also BC! We were in Tenerife. Same ole same ole. Not going back again, I've insisted. Somewhere new next year! There's a whole world out there.

Hope everyone is well. Mimi is enjoying Y1 I think. Haven't met her teacher yet though!

Hello all

How is everyone? Matthew has hit the terrible twos, I am sick to death of sleepover invites-Emma is only 8 FGS. Apart from that all is well chez HC.

Hello HC!

We really are dwindling now... Good luck with Matthew and his terrible twos... don't you just love it! I can't believe he's two though...
Does Emma actually go on these sleepovers!? I thought they had to be about 12 to go.

All well here. Mimi enjoying Year1 so far I think. Her reading is getting really good now, and she's able to swim without armbands - hurrah! Her teacher is a bit vague though, we had the parent-teacher getting to know you meeting, and I got the impression she had no idea which one was Mimi... still, early days I suppose.

Hope everyone else (if they ever pop by) is well!

Hi Annie

Worse was to come as Emma was invited to a sleepover party but we are away in the caravan so she can't go phewee.I believe that sleepovers are for teenagers but sadly the parents at our school don't see it that way and think I am strange. Honestly, the parties are getting so extreme, I mean what will be next? A weekend at Disneyland Paris or a visit to a strip club perhaps.....

Matthew is 2 tomorrow. Shock Keep reliving events of 2 years ago.

As for this thread, should we say goodbye to it and just keep intouch on FB? It has been running for 6 years so has done well. Another of my threads has fallen and that hasn't been running as long. Perhaps it is me!

Sophie is trying hard at school, struggling at reading but she will get there in the end.

Have already started Christmas shopping Shock Don't know what to get the Sophster though.

Hope you are all OK.

Oh dear SM-sad that you have to post under health as you were always one one of the 'strong' ones amongst us. Lol-I remember asking you to join us, seems so long ago when I look at my big girl Sophie who is still as sweet as the day she was born. Smile

Have my little boy Matthew who is 2 but not speaking so the HV wants to reassess him in January. Dreading the phone call. Hoping for DC4 but maybe it isn't to be at my age.

Big, big wave as I still find it sad that our thread is no more. Sad
