Thought the title might be appropriate for both mums and babies

Crispy - he can have 2 of the 3 but can whistle for the 3rd!

Dizzy - no showing off just confusion.

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 08:15

You not keen on Chinese then?

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/07/2010 08:16

Morning Miamla

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/07/2010 08:17

Why was there no-one here last night but everyone is here this morning?

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 08:20

I was here last night too

MrsMiamla · 08/07/2010 08:23

was i not here? can't remember, was a long time ago!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/07/2010 08:39

When I was here at 10.30 everyone had dissapeared so I went to bed to feed DD2 before she slept until 5am then fed, slept until 8 fed and is still sleeping

hotterpotter · 08/07/2010 09:17

I was here too and my husband was in the room

Morning all grey day here but feeling cheered as just sorted out my mortgage with the help of a very pleasant young man (god that makes me feel/sound old), despite only owing £31 they had restarted the DD so mortgage account was actually in credit Instead of making me redeem it and pay all associated redemption/admin fees they have kindly agreed to refund the cash to my savings and stop the direct debit, phew! Despite feeling a bit sad at not moving, the long knives are well and truly out for civil servants so probably for the best to stay in my cheap hovel for a while longer and see how the dust settles.

Oops that sounds like a good sleeper you've got there, well done

hotterpotter · 08/07/2010 10:08

OK so it's me you're all avoiding fine fine so must be something I said

dizzydixies · 08/07/2010 10:19

present too miss but was filling in a sodding funding form and being attacked by cake stands !!

Hots am feeling exactly the same way esp as it was announced in the local paper last week that our security firm has had independent auditors in to assess where they can save money. Its starting with the civvies apparently . They should have not hired the fancy schmancy money people and save a few jobs I got my duties for next week and for a team that is meant to run on 13 we are down to 5, including me on phased return lets hope nothing serious happens as it will hit the fan if it does [meep]

Oops - have done the brownie mix x 1/3 as my recipe has 3 eggs in it - fingers crossed everyone as after mucking up the tablet and the fudge I can't afford to make any more mistakes!

hotterpotter · 08/07/2010 11:05

Hope the brownies go OK Dizz and seriously hope nothing awful happens while you are working next week, or indeed anywhere ever. For example, two crazed gunmen in the same year is already two too many. This is Britain not America (sorry TS )

Oops I WAS HERE! Oh and my DH brought me a glass of ice water in bed this morning. How's that for excellent!

Singapore ((hugs))

Dizzy ((hugs))

Okay ladies I am getting concerned. No word about the baby. No word about the mother. No pictures. No nothing. I'm beginning to think the worst. Folks, at least these folks, don't stay quiet unless somethings wrong. Trying not to think my small but negative energy didn't help them. Guilt ridden today.

Morning. NO caffeine today.

TwilightSurfer · 08/07/2010 12:20

HP get your head out of the gutter before you put it there. The glass of water was TO DRINK!

HI ladies.

dizz Eeek, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the moment.
ts positive energy winging your way. And don't feel guilt ridden in any way shape or form. I'm sure they're fine

Sorry about the whingeing everyone. I just let everything get on top of me and just got overwhelmed. Have adopted the attitude that I will do what I can, and can't do more than that, so there's no point stressing about it. Bank have agreed to stop bloody calling until later this month and will hopefully have a payment plan agreed by then.
Haven't spoken to DP about the joint account thing because he's been getting home late from work. I don't think it would be a good idea to broach the subject when we're both knackered and stressed from a long day so will leave it to the weekend.
I don't think he's doing it deliberately. I thing in his head he's given me access to his money by setting me up with a copy of his credit card. He doesn't realise I don't feel comfortable spending on it without being fully in the know about how much money he's got left - He's not exactly rolling in it.
S still being a bloody misery though unfortunately. At least I'm feeling more positive now, so I'm coping better with it than I was up till yesterday.
Wouch that was a very long (and very me) post.

hotterpotter · 08/07/2010 14:20

Hey Queenie, good to hear you sounding more positive . I think your idea of waiting until the weekend before raising with DP is a good one, when no one is tired there is less chance of unmeant things coming out wrong and people getting upset. Good luck

Oh I am so bored today . No real feeling of wanting to do the best by my employer, so sorry to those of you that pay UK taxes, I am wasting a little of them today sitting around doing bugger all

TS what might I have thought the water was for??????????

cyteen · 08/07/2010 14:30

pots snap although without the taxpayers part. Here, find out how the male angler fish gets screwed by nature, it made me laugh so much [lowbrow]

QoD great stuff, you are tackling things sensibly and positively Financial shit is overwhelming - I doubt there's anyone on here who hasn't felt it. Onwards and upwards girl

Cyteen that's funny . All I can say is thank flip facebook is not allowed on work computers or I would be out on my sorry ass...

QueenofDreams · 08/07/2010 15:06

cyteen that is hilarious. It has also now made me feel a bit about eating monkfish tbh (it was never my favourite fish anyway)

springaporesling · 08/07/2010 15:16

VG this is the only time DS has been able to get anywhere near the cat - normally she's way too fast for him! The other one tolerates anything from him including being ridden like a horse! We got on ok at the vets. Tube removed although I had to hold her whilst the stitches and tube were taken out - I thought DS had sharp teeth.

QoD glad to hear you have made some headway.

Oops by my reckoning DS and I were awake at 10.30pm your time. Don't think I would have been particularly good company though! Crispy can't see any reason for it I do think his molars are about to appear.

He had a teddy bear's picnic today for end of term playgroup so when I put him to bed I said look there's teddy he came to the picnic - his response - snack time! Good to know what his favourite part was

TwilightSurfer · 08/07/2010 19:30

Don't mind me. I'm going to go sit in the corner and feel sorry for myself. My mommy night out was just squashed because my friend's son is sick...so she cancelled. Guess it doesn't matter because DH is swamped so I probably would have had to cancel for lack of childcare. Poor Pitiful Me. Laundry is every where. Cupboards are bare. Kids are cranky. It's too hot outside for fun. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. Again don't mind me I'll be just over here with my pity party balloon.

dizzydixies · 08/07/2010 19:44

TS, go and look at the lovely new photos of my cakes - they've cheered me up and even inspired me to get over my crisis of confidence and get on with them!!!

sorry your night our was cancelled though

TwilightSurfer · 08/07/2010 19:51

okay now i want cupcakes

QueenofDreams · 08/07/2010 19:59

dizz can you send me some. I'm loving the look of the strawberry buttercream. You really do have a gift for cakey bakeage.

TS ((hugs)) how bloody annoying!
