Thought the title might be appropriate for both mums and babies

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

evening all
we've spent the day wandering round kew gardens, DS shattered and gone to bed with no dinner/milk etc so i'm expecting midnight hunger screams from him (he fell asleep in car on the way home ) and i'm in significant pain from pelvis, back etc so DH is cooking his own birthday dinner

In my defense, i did try and give DS some dinner before we left kew but he was refusing to eat anything

off to have a perusal of your blog now dizz and then i'll come back here to catch up on today's news

dizzydixies · 18/06/2010 21:58

oh Miamla I was desperate to visit Kew gardens when I was down staying with my friend in Richmond a few years ago. Shall return though!

don't worry about the no tea, he'll let you know and one night won't hurt him. How is your SPD doing? Is anything bringing you any relief??

I've been waiting to visit kew since i was 9!! i broke my leg one weekend and in the following week my school went to kew gardens and my brownie group went to the museum of childhood. the london aug mums did the museum last year and today i did kew so my goals in life are all accomplished I still think i could have done both when i was 9 though and just used my crutches, mum thought otherwise though!

spd= good days and bad. i suspect tomorrow will be awful given how much i've done today but hey ho, its only DH's b'day once a year. as for relief, nothing really other than relaxing and not walking/picking up DS/getting clothes out of washing machine/loading dishwasher etc etc helps too! none of which is ever going to happen!

DS just woken, wanted to get up to play but i convinced him to stay in bed. He has now drunk a beaker of milk so i'm feeling happier about that. DH out early tomorrow so i'm on duty tonight. Assuming its going to be a hard one

oh and when you do make it down to kew... you'd better bloody come and see me as well!!!! in fact i will be mortally offended if you don't stay with me!

hotterpotter · 18/06/2010 22:43

Just passing through on my way from wine to bed to reassure cyteen that I clipped two different wing mirrors on Monday ...

also I heart you all [tipsy]

Watching old reruns of Coupling on video (yes we've got a video) it's surprisingly stood the test of time and is still funny to my puerile sense --of humour

MrsMiamla · 18/06/2010 22:48

i heart you too hots...despite your most recent comment to me on fb.... I am NOT a bloody weeble!!!!!!!!!!

in fact, Dh was only just saying that my legs look slim! He did add 'for a woman who's pregnant for the second time' but i'm blotting out the second bit of his comment

right, i think DS is asleep again so i'm going to try and sneak upstairs and into bed

night all (but i may well be back in a minute!)

dizzydixies · 19/06/2010 08:19

thanks Loti . Congrats on being a Granny how is DH feeling about it. Imagine being an Aunt at the ripe old age of 2yrs old!! Enjoy your party tonight.

Oops - please take it easy and make sure you're not doing too much.

DD1 in with me for some reason last night so lord only knows when DH got home (sometime after 4am) and I presume he is in her bed as DD2 has been rather indignent about it all this morning D was up just after 7am which I know is fine but I had hoped for a touch longer

not sure what kind of day we're going to have here, as long as it's dry thats all that matters!

MrsMiamla · 19/06/2010 08:42

your bed hopping tales always make me smile dizz!

CrispyTheCrisp · 19/06/2010 08:49

Morning all

Mwah. Love ya. xxxx

dizzydixies · 19/06/2010 08:49

its the fact that rather large DH is in a rather small single bed rather than his own king sized bed with black out blinds on the window - all he had to do was lift her back through! DD1 sleeps like the dead and I couldn't lift her if I tried but he would manage no bother.

btw, when she came down she marched in the room and demanded to know why she was in my bed?!!?
