Happy Anniversary TS.

Dizzy - Sorry I totally missed about your dad last night - hope all is well with him and tests show nothing untowards.

HP - you on the wine already

now who else said what?

dizzydixies · 07/07/2010 21:27

Thanks Oops, he has apparently had a small heart attack already but tests will check if there are other problems or something else we can do. Is it bad that I'm just relieved that its not him emphusima (sp?) as it is closely reaching the stage where nothing else can be done

wine, who said wine?!?!? Grant Application done, DH proof reading, have phoned to make someone else deliver it tomorrow and if it gets the DH seal of approval I'll print it and go and start making traybakes

ah bollox, online shop first

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 21:30

Fingers x'd for PapaDixie

I forgot to tell you. I got a cheque today

hotterpotter · 07/07/2010 21:40

at you casting aspersions on my sobriety oops I don't drink on school nights, although could bloody murder a big glass of something anything

Dizzy I too missed the heart attack thing , but take comfort from the fact that loads of people have them without realising, it may be nothing major. Fingers crossed x

Oh, hello Sazz, did I say before how much I love you Is it car/job payout or the proceeds from some multi million pound jewellery heist???

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 21:43

LOL, the car

hotterpotter · 07/07/2010 21:47

Any news from the lying bastards garage?

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 21:50

No, but i only spoke to them about 5pm (their fault not mine). Explained the issue and he was quite good but needs to speak to the owner. I told him i wanted the Isofix sorting or i would return the car and want another key as well. as expected the tyre is probably a non starter (but he said he would mention it) and i didn;t mention the mats as advised

QoD if you are lurking, i hope you have managed to speak to DP and the bank. {{{hugs}}} that it gets sorted soon

hotterpotter · 07/07/2010 22:03

Good luck with them Sazz

Happy anniversary MR&MRSTS and HAppy BIrthday MAXIDIXIE

It's our 11 yr anniversary on saturday . eleven flippin years!!!

Master Caveboy did great in his sports day today, and won the egg and spoon race . And my bf's son in reception class won his obstacle race . Doubly proud. Ds and my friends' ds are both in the same 'house' at school, and their house won the cup for infants sports day! yay! I resisted temptation to enter the parents race for fear I would embarass myself put them all to shame

dizzydixies · 07/07/2010 22:26

fecking hell, DD2 up roaring and shouting again tonight

DH just spoke to DD1, she sounds shattered but is having a ball [weak]

well done Master Cavey and CaveyFriend - bravo indeed!

Sazz, grr at garage. What happens if you have to give it back ??

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 22:32

Err, not sure dizz . We delay our holiday i guess . Hope DD2 settles at some point. I expect DD1 to come in and share with me as she usually does when DH away . When is DixieChick home ?

Hurrah CaveyCrew but i can't believe HockeyMom didn't pile in

dizzydixies · 07/07/2010 23:05

I'm supposed to be heading down tomorrow however I now need to do the rest of this order and DH on late shift TITP tomorrow - I may have to go down on Fri instead. Not that I've arranged anything ffs

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 23:11

Can he go down before his shift? You are spreading yourself very thin

dizzydixies · 07/07/2010 23:14

No but he'll be taking the kids out somewhere in the morning to give me peace - don't panic, its all under control!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/07/2010 23:16

LOL, controlled chaos reigns here

TwilightSurfer · 08/07/2010 00:23

so not only have relatives chosen a name for their baby that sounds exactly like my first born's but NOW their baby shares our anniversary date. YAY for a NEW BABY born today!! I really am excited but still bummed about the name. DH thinks it's funny and was ever so excited to inform of the birth sharing our anniversary. He thinks that makes it EVEN FUNNIER.

TwilightSurfer · 08/07/2010 00:30

Captain that's awesome!! You should be VERY PROUD!!

TwilightSurfer · 08/07/2010 05:38

Good Morning!! WAY TOO MUCH CAFFEINE yesterday. Off to bed now. See you in a few.

springaporesling · 08/07/2010 06:03

Congrats to Caveyboy.

TS I know difficult but hopefully you will be able to see it as a massive compliment to her and her wonderful parents.

DS awake at 4.30 for about half an hour then 5.30 for about 10 minutes then up for the day at 6.50pm. DH and I both very fed up with work at the moment lack of motivation and both incredibly busy so we had a good old moan last night over a bottle of wine. DH working from home today!

Off to take the cat back to the vet now to have her tube out. She spent last night on our bed (pretty unheard of for her as she is very much it is on my terms kid of a cat with her affection). DS has taken to saying 'no snoking' (I think he means stroking) whenever he sees her.

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 07:56

LOL you do make me laugh TS. DD2 shares our anniverary and i was pissed off

Sorry to hear of disturbed night Spring - any reason you can think of? DD1 managed to fall out of bed at 3am so came in with me. I think i need to put the double duvet back on which can tuck in both sides and acts as a bit of a barrier

Lazy morning here in preparation for holidays. I think it is all in hand

dizzydixies · 08/07/2010 08:00

LOL Spring - I read that as a no smoking cat and had visions of her sitting there, legs crossed with cigarette holder in paw

morning all another disturbed night for DD2 where I threw a strop at DH because he tolerated her for 10seconds then gave up and D up at stupid o'clock. She's now shouting PIG PIG at me which I'm hoping is a request for Peppa and not a new pet name!

TS - congrats on new baby, I'm sorry you're still bummed about the name but please try to see it as imitation being the highest form of flattery. Our DD2 is named very similarly to my cousins daughter who is 8yrs older and cousins daughter thinks its brilliant.

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/07/2010 08:07

Well a minor miracle occurred here this morning..... when DD1 woke at 6.30 DH got out of bed, got her and took her downstairs, fed her, played boats and only came to wake me when he needed to leave Any suggestions as to what he might be after?

dizzydixies · 08/07/2010 08:09

stop showing off Oops

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 08:11

Sex/takeaway/weekend away with the lads. Or all three

MrsMiamla · 08/07/2010 08:12
