HA HA HA HA CTFN is jumping with joy and yelling YOU F*ING MAD WOMAN!!! Congratulations. So have you started a Jan 11 club yet? How is DH with the news?

CantThinkofFunnyName · 02/06/2010 14:25

And and and and how are you feeling? And have you been to GP yet? And ooooh, how stupidly EXCITING!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Partyofseven · 02/06/2010 14:36

OMG CANT YOUR MAKING ME GIDDY AND SMILEY, the dcs will think theres something wrong with me.

I actually feel fine, although i am just putting it out of my mind as im so busy, but i didn't feel very well on sat and i was bent over the kitchen side, dh said i hope your not practising (for labour) and i said no, not yet anyway, he said when 9 months and i said try 34wks, so hes not exactly jumping for joy but he's not bothered either, i think he just puts up with me and my irrational need for lots of babys, but I absolutely promise this will be my last if all goes to plan.

Not been to gp yet, but will be 7wks on friday. DD was due on 19th jan and came on 26th, edd of this one will be 21st jan.

Ha Ha, am giddy now

CantThinkofFunnyName · 02/06/2010 14:43

All 3 of my were Jan due dates - something in the May air I think!!! DS was due 26 Jan, came 4 Feb, DD1 was due 30 Jan, came 9 Feb and DD2, due 7 Jan, came 29 December! We have a busy time over Xmas-Feb! ooooh, so very very pleased for you you crazy crazy mad lady!

Partyofseven · 02/06/2010 14:58

i think that time of year must be 'my' time because will have two dcs jan, ds feb and dd mar and of course i share my bday with your olivia, so will be busy time of year for us to.

I keep switching between wanting to tell everyone because i'm happy, but then not wanting to tell anyone incase they think i'm stupid, also feel abit guilty cos someone at work, her daughter is trying for her first and has had no success for two years has been offerd ivf but has decided against it for now, but i know the lady wants to be a grandma sooo much, and shes such a lovely person.

will have to change my name again

Partyofsevensoontobeeight · 02/06/2010 15:03

hello just checking if new name works

CantThinkofFunnyName · 02/06/2010 15:04

I knew that would be your new name soon!

mama2moo · 02/06/2010 15:14

OMG Congratulations Party

I am sooooo jealous, I want another but idiot dp says no

Still havent caught up properly. Ali I hope all is ok with Jacob.

Babymoo has a tooth. I am gradually weaning her onto bottles now

Who has changed from breast to bottle here? Did you just do it cold turkey and put up with massive boobs or did you do it by dropping a feed week by week?

sockmonkey · 02/06/2010 16:06

YAY!!! Congratulations!!!!!

Ali hope appt went ok today.

mama you don't have to wean onto bottles just cos babymoo has a tooth. I didn't. Fed DS2 even with a mouthfull of them. He flat out refused to take a bottle anyway.
With DS1 I dropped feeds gradually. Seemed kinder to both of us. I know how painful boobs get if baby is late for a feed, couldn't imagine just going cold turkey. Hope you find whats best for you. Don't want to bully you.

Naomi has discovered raspberry blowing. Very funny. She is also getting more coordinated reaching for things. She is one of the youngest on the thread though, so I'm guessing other babies are doing this already.

CantThinkofFunnyName · 02/06/2010 16:18

I took Olivia to baby swimming lessons today. First one of a 5 week course. She absolutely loved it AND dipped under water. So thats about the sum of my day so far. Friends over tomorrow and Percy going to Doggy Day Care to socialise with a bunch of other dogs and I can concentrate on friends and babies.

whensmydayoff · 02/06/2010 16:25

Congrats party that is amazing. Im jealous of your spirit and also with can't with thinking, wow, MADNESS!!

That is so exciting, our first in the group to get PG again and we will all be so when your LO is appearing next Jan and our old hasbeans are 1, which is always such a milestone.

DD been a nightmare all day too. Im ready for control crying, she is unable to fall to sleep anywhere, anytime.

Was at one of DS's friends party today and she just screamed in the pram all day. I ended up using my friends cot, hairdryer and patting her to sleep. What was I saying about MADNESS!

Okay I'm back consultant was really nice he checked all Jacobs reflex's and was really positive, as he hasn't had any furter episodes he was reluctent to do any invasive test so he just had a blood test and he was really brave.
We have an open appointment incase of any more episodes.

Wow huge congratulations to party x x

CantThinkofFunnyName · 02/06/2010 18:47

Ali - so pleased for you. Under the circumstances, it probably couldn't have gone any better could it. At least now, if, god forbid, Jacob has any more episodes, you can get straight back into see the consultant now that you are in "the system".

whensmydayoff · 02/06/2010 20:56

Psssst party.....what if it was twins?

You should change your name to

Partyofsevensoontobeeightpossiblynine

I bet you'd love it you baby monster, ha.

Im so in awe of you. I find 2 so hard (pathetic smiley face).

What is your smallest age gap? Or is it going to be this age gap?

Pleeeease give me an idea of your average day so I can feel less tierd and even more pathetic or maybe just get some tips.

Thats Olivia in her own room and im not telling you if she went down well or not or it will jinx it. I know I will be up and down like a yo yo through the night though.

She sat with us in her high chair and had the same dinner. Roasted sweet potato wedges, sticks of courgette, broccoli and chicken breast.

She ate it like a little chimp at the zoo eating fruit and disregarding the skins
THEN, wait for it,
Just drank water out a tommee tipee cup like it was an every day occurence. Magic!
We all stared at her, including DS, open mouthed and every now and then she'd look up and give us a big grin like, yeh, get me!

ali all sounds good and consultant sounded as if he wasn't unduly worried so that's brilliant. x

Off for bath, desperate housewives and bed (if im allowed to stay in it)

Good luck vibes to london after your horiffic night too. x

Newbeginning1 · 02/06/2010 21:38

Party - congratulations!! I actually said aah out loud. Wmdo, nevermind twins, what if it's octuplets?! Party you could double your family in 1 go!!

lottie - fingers crossed for a better night for you

wmdo - sounds as thought Olivia had got very reliant on certain cues for getting her to sleep so i hope tonight goes ok for you. I've tried CC and i cave too easily but on the plus side it doesnt take that long to break the habbit does it?

ali - thats great news about Jacob and lets hope that things keep getting better for you all

crumpette - is DP coming with us on our trip? Can't we send him to Heathrow and we fly out from Gatwick to a different location?

Right, i'm off to get some sleep. I love having my niece here but i'm finding it tough with Jack as she distracts him so he'll be just about to sleep and she wakes him up. Also, he's too pootastic for my liking, we are averaging about 5 a day, is that ok? Final question about weaning, if i want to give him pureed banana do i have to cook it first because i pureed it then put it in a pot to take out with us but it went all brown which didnt seem appetising.

I hope that babies behave tonight and everyone manages to get some sleep. Lets hope for some nice weather tomorrow as well

Partyofsevensoontobeeight · 02/06/2010 22:23

Thankyou for all the good evenifyouarealittlecrazy wishes

way to jinx me when i think it would be nice on one hand but on the other it would be twins and a 1yr old, plus 4 others nervous breakdown time methinks. I am impressed with olivias eating, Erin can wolf down her baby rice but i'm a bit scared to try anything else.

new party laughs at your jinx, that would just be too cruel lol. I will hold you completely responsible (ok maybe me and dh are but...) I want to know where you and crump are going??

mamamoo don't tell your idiot dp but my dh has said no to having Erin at first, but it must be my ouzzing sexuality that he can't resist, so I always get my own way and once deed is done hes fine with it.

ali glad to hear jacob has done ok today fingers crossed it gets better

I am so envious of all the raspberry blowing babys (you know who you are )

SWIMMING cant really i so want to take erin but i am terrified of the under water thing, she turned her head in the bath last night and it went up her nose and really frightened her and me

when i will give youa run down of an average day tomorrow, dh has put erin to bed whilst i was out so am going to have half an hour telly time,

night to all mummies and babies, sleep well

Partyofsevensoontobeeight · 02/06/2010 22:26

that was actually a lie i'm off to aibu and relationships for the gossip, so will still be on here at midnight
