Hello!

DD slept well in her room last night but tonight wanted to be in my room again

Have a lovely Easter ladies x

chefswife · 03/04/2010 05:33

Hello. Had to pop down a quick note before continuing because I have been away from here for a couple of days. lol

Congrats missjackson What a great time to be pregnant... you can still wear hot summer dresses before your belly get too beautifully rotund. . DD was born at the beginning of Dec.

HKZ I would love a Hackney adventure. DH and I lived in Kilburn which I thought was fab too and would buy there if stayed. I would seriously consider a house swap in the future. It is a particular visit to here to Vancouver Island, I know, but can be a fab holiday, especially in the summer as it doesn't get too hot. Anyhow, listen too me... blah blah blah

DOG Good luck with the move. Its important to feel at home.

OH! I just saw the Easter emoticons!

We are having huge winds and the internet keeps cutting out so I'm going to go and catch up tomorrow.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone , hope you all have a lovely day with DCs, and hope they don't all get too pscyho on chocolate !

ooh eppm, how are you?

tea how was your night? Was DD in or out?

dog no sickness, just quite tired. Will def keep riding, but after 12 weeks I will just ride dobbins, so no chance of falling off. Last time I fell off at 12 weeks and buggered my back, which was crap. So no jumping logs this time . Are you showing yet? I swear I am, but I can't be at 6 weeks!

Waves to chef across the Atlantic.

teaandcakeplease · 04/04/2010 09:27

DD was in her own bed but it was a real negotiation to persuade her into it last night But she slept all night!

Mine are already eating their white chocolate lindt bunnies. As soon as they'd eaten breakfast I produced them. Naughty naughty mum

Happy Easter everyone, better get ready for church.

120 · 04/04/2010 09:42

Happy Easter! The thought of chocolate may just get me out of bed! (at my mum's so she has the little monsters downstairs).

tea, I've found the harder they are to get down, the more likely they are to stay in bed. Maybe they are moaning because they know they won't have a chance later. who knows. Congratulations anyway!

tinkhastwoeasterbunnies · 04/04/2010 10:11

DOG - I feel better knowing yours had choc early too

House sounds so lovely in everyway!

I am on fb but my privacy settings are high...

missjackson · 04/04/2010 15:53

Oh no, started bleeding this afternoon. Crampy and feels like my period, so not looking good. Am lying down. This never happened first time around at all, not a spot.

What are you supposed to do this early (4-6 weeks)? Just wait I guess.

teaandcakeplease · 04/04/2010 16:00

Miss J - Oh no that's terrible I have no idea, lie down would be my suggestion and get your H to take care of LO.

Sending you enormous hugs and thinking of you x

missjackson · 04/04/2010 16:27

Thanks tea - just did another pg test and the line is still there, but only very faintly... was much stronger before.. so I think that means there is not much chance. . Dad has taken N off to farm to spend afternoon with DH, so I am just going to stay in bed and take it easy.

teaandcakeplease · 04/04/2010 16:42

I'm so so sorry

hope everythings ok MissJ Rest and try not to worry, sending positive thoughts.

My SIL who is 6 weeks pg has been rushed to hospital yesterday and on a drip for severe dehydration (hyperemesis thing??) she is ok now but they have warned her this is a sign of multiple preg.

Other bad news, my sister's relationship is going down the pan, so we are trying to pick up the pieces of that. Crux of it, after a very painful and invasive operation to clear her tubes last week he has told her he doesn't want to try for a baby and certainly doesn't want IVF (after promising her the world and everything when she was with her previous partner who she left him for).

Anyway, all doom and gloom her aren't I !!

Dog- love the pic of Isla with her egg, Z has been a right pig too, even though I only got him a small Thomas one, he has hoovered up pretty much anything choccy based

Tea- glad DD seems to have adjusted to the bed situation. Yes, join our FB group, You can CAT one of us your email address if you likeand we will send details of who we are on FB and then invite you to the group once you have befriended one of us (erm, I think thats how it works.....Lennni?)

Actually having a lovely easter sunday, cooked a pork roast and had the in-laws over. Made a very nice chocoalte and berry easter cake, and had a small mountain of mini-eggs, yum! DC's enjoyed a hunt round the garden this morning. Hunt on friday was good fun and we avoided the rain, but on the way over to Chelt DD was sick everywhere. MIL was still happy to have her, so I grugingly went out for my friends birthday and had a great time but did feel 'on call' in case she got worse. As it turns out she was sick twice more but then slept all night and most of saturday and felt better all of a sudden yesterday afternoon. Bit odd, as none of the rest of us have had anything, so not sure if it was a bug or not

Anyway, better be social!

chefswife · 04/04/2010 18:16

We didn't really 'do' Easter, (DH thinks DD is still too young... whatever) but I did get to sleep in and when he let DD in to wake me, I could smell coffee and blueberry pancakes. I drank my coffee in bed while DD read her book and pointed and talked, then breakfast, then we played, then DH and DD fell asleep. I just bit into a chocolate crispy and woke DH...

Hope everyone's day was/is fabulous!

120 · 04/04/2010 19:28

MJ (just had to look up how to do an emoticon!!!). Can you try and organise a scan asap to ease your mind? Sending lots of sticky dust your way (hope that IS what it is called. sounds odd).

Pat sorry to hear DD wasn't well and about your sis. Glad you at least got a Chelt night out; where did you go?

Chef.. sounds lovely and relaxed. Right, just got H down, now got to stop pretending I'm B/F him and go and settle DD.

Not good at all - very heavy and bright red now, just like a normal heavy period - spent the night throwing up too, so it wasn't the best night of my life . Just feel really sad and empty - it's funny, I was so ambivalent about getting pg again, but when I did it suddenly felt really exciting and right, and I was imagining N's little brother or sister and even thinking of names... so I guess that's why it's so sad even after just 6 days of knowing. Called the midwife this morning and they said it sounds like natural mc, and just to wait - when bleeding stops they will scan or just retest to check it's all gone. So that's it I suppose.

pat hope your SIL is okay - one of my friends had hyperemesis (sp?) and lost so much weight in the first few months, but ended up giving birth to a really healthy baby weighing in about 8lbs, so fingers crossed she will be okay. And awful about your sis - how old is she? My sis's DH pulled something similar, and now she is nearly 36 and single.. although he is currently having 'a rethink'

Anyway, now I feel like I hoovered up all the fun Easter spirit - come on, tell me funny tales of your lovely DCs eating too much chocolate!

teaandcakeplease · 05/04/2010 10:18

Awwww Miss J - Sending big hugs your way. You haven't ruined the spirit. We're all worried for you

tinkhastwoeasterbunnies · 05/04/2010 10:19

oh no miss j for you

PatTheHammer · 05/04/2010 10:33

((((((hugs)))))) for MissJ, so sorry for you. 6 Days is a long time to make plans and have dreams about a future LO so I think its only natural to feel the loss.

My SIL came home last night, still throwing up but they have told her to still keep taking the anti-sickness drugs and call gp on tuesday if still not ok. Now, They didn't swab her for a sickness virus or anything they just assumed it was pg related as she had bad sickness in her last pregnancy (though not till later and finished about 24weeks). I hope its just a bug and not the start of hyper-thingy, my friend had it too and spent weeks in hospital, but also had a perfectly healthy baby (without ever having the need for maternity clothes!).

My Sis is 27, so still time on her side I guess and she does have a DS who is nearly 7. But she is so with him as she gave up everything for him. I hope it can still work out.

Erm, funny DC and egg realted stories......................none really, except mine were a nightmare yesterday evening after much scoffing of chocolate. Z woke up at 10.15pm when we went to bed and he wouldn't go back down till 12.30pm, Far too much sugar in his system is my only guess, what a pita

120- went to real China, which is an all-you-can-eat style chinese and then a bar called 'Apres' and stayed till closing as we couldn't be arsed to walk anywhere, oh the joys of getting old!
