PMSL at the Burn's night smilies; I thought they were wearing earphones.

not sure I agree with them; as a proud Scot, I hate all that fucking tacky tartan crap that we get labelled with, tartan tammies and fake ginger hair more than most

Me and DH have arguments over who does the best voices. He says my squeaky mouse voice is sooooo boring and predictable.

Love the Gruffalo too. But at the moment DD is into fairy tales so it's Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Princess & the Pea etc. Then she makes me change all the parts of the story she doesn't like. Hoping we can get back to my favourites soon.

We are flying out end Feb. Not permanent -tho DH is hoping for a change of heart on that one. I have taken a career break so not back till Jan 2012 so will be in Oz till then. Am v to be going, tis purely financial, just couldn't afford to go back to work right now.

Do other LOs put themselves (and family members) into the characters in stories? When we read Peppa Pig, Jamlet says she is Peppa (we are Mummy and Daddy Pig), when we read ITNG she is Iggle Piggle (I am Upsy Daisy, DH is Makka Pakka), and she is Topsy in Topsy and Tim (I am Mummy and DH is Tim), she is Noddy, I am Big Ears and DH is PC Plod, she is the little girl in Bear Hunt, and of course we are the 3 bears.

Boss brought back some titbits from Sweden (together with apologies that she had disuaded me from going as it was fabulous apparently!). So our little group here took time out this morning for cured reindeer meat, moose salami, and scandinavian cheese, served with crackers and lingonberries. Yum Yum Yum! But she wants me to go to a meeting in Stockholm in June, and possibly Spain in May

PT went well over weekend. Only one accident Hope all is well at nursery today

Now bracing myself to ring the vet to find out the results of our cat's blood tests...

hope your cat is OK. mine is currently going through a phase of sleeping right on top of the top kitchen cupboards. Bonkers!

PT here today too, on the basis that baggins has already done 2 (or maybe 3) huge nasty poos, so surely won't have a massive poo accident, one wet pair of pants already, but a couple of wees on the toilet and one on the potty He is sucking a wine gum (his wee-wee treat), we will go and get smarties or something when we go to school.

DH has had to go in to work on his day off again, he is under instruction that he is NOT NO WAY EVER going in on Wednesday monrning as I actually have plans for once.

Jamlet had a full day at nursery with no accidents Nappy on during nap-time but otherwise pants and potty all the way! Wonder if she's being as sucessful today? All wees though as she's been having her poos in her sleep (overnight or afternoon nap) for a few weeks now.

Cat has diabetes and possibly kidney failure on the way They are going to do more blood tests and I have to take in a urine sample to find out more. Might end up with insulin treatment involving me giving the cat 2 injections a day . She's going to love me for that ! Will find out more later in week.

for your cat Jammy - do you have insurance? Kidney failure is quite common in elderly cats I think - especially males (I have a 10 year old tom )

Yes, my little baby boy is one today ....has gone to nursery with a "birthday boy" badge on and a victoria sponge and a candle
