oh and as far as BBPs go T is wonderful, climbs on toilt, wees, flushes, washes his hands with almost no input. The only thing is he NEVER and i mean never says he needs to go - kind of the key bit of toilet training So, not very far along here...

CaptainDippy · 20/01/2010 12:30

Happy Birthday Luke!

Bramshott · 20/01/2010 13:12

Can't believe they have just shut N's school and asked us to collect them!! There is barely an inch of snow, and all the roads are fine!!!

elkiedee · 20/01/2010 13:34

Happy birthday Luke

I can't believe C will be 1 in 3 weeks. Where's my baby?

Glad to hear that others have some way to go with toilet training.

Doobydoo · 20/01/2010 18:11

Happ Birthday Luke
Caz and PHD

Eddas · 20/01/2010 21:55

Happy birthday to Luke, hope you all enjoyed the pub

DS is no where near potty training. My next task is to lose the dummy during the day. He doesn't really nap anymore and the talking through the dummy is annoying the crap outta me. I do tell him to take it out but that gets very tedious so I think taking it away til bedtime is the best option. I'm attempting that on fri, wish my luck

nothing very exciting to report from here tis dull and broing in Eddas world!

Bramshott · 21/01/2010 11:55

Oh blargh - O has been invited for swine flu vaccine and I am in two minds. Was hoping they would not ask us, so I wouldn't have to make a decision. Anyone else?!

Eddas · 21/01/2010 12:25

we had one of those letter's for ds. DH is keen for hm to get it but I'm not sure. I'm going to have a look into it before we make a decision. DH is also keen for dd to have it but i'm not sure they will as she's 5 so not in the 'risk' categories.

Hi loves.

A belated Happy Birthday to Luke Hope you all had a lovely day.

Bramshott, we had a letter this week re the swine flu jab. I don't know what to do; erring on the side of not wanting K to have it....

Need to have a think.

Hope everyone else is ok.

K driving me nuts! She has turned in to a nutcase.

Need to go and get B from school, so catch up later. x

Bramshott · 21/01/2010 15:30

Hi SOL!

Shall we all prevaricate together about the SF jabs then !

Sexonlegs · 21/01/2010 16:21

Yes

AngeG · 21/01/2010 17:03

Hello there

Can't believe Luke is 1 How did that happen? Hope you all had a good day!

We've also had a letter about the SF jab...think I've decided for her not to have it!

Feel a bit rough today...sore throat, cold headache etc

runnyhabbit · 21/01/2010 17:13

Evening all

Feel like I've neglected you all a bitLife going at 100mph here, work and generally everywhere I had a fab digital SLR camera for my birthday, and haven't even had the time to play use it properly. Can't wait to try it out.

Happy Birthday Lukr Glad to see he went to the pub to celebrate

W is in pants, but only started training him last week. Has been dry now for 3 days, so very pleased. Doesn't always ask to go to the toilet, but if I ask him, he'll say yes or no. Feels very weird not having to venture down the baby aisles in Tesco!

Swine Flu - We've made the decision for the boys to have it. W was always a yes (because of asthma, prev suspected swine flu, and also I'm convinced that the pneumonia/chest drain left some scarring) But they've also invited J, so he's having it to.

And as for starting school - W starts THIS YEAR

Glad everyone is ok, and will make concious effort to get back on here

x

runnyhabbit · 21/01/2010 17:14

Luke even

Doobydoo · 21/01/2010 19:02

Re Swine Flu jab.M isn't having it and neither am I.Ummed and Ahhed as in Paediatrics but that is what we have decided.Hope all are ok

oooggs · 21/01/2010 20:14

All six of us have had it!!!!

Dh ignored his letter, I ignored my letter, I ignored the dts & ds3's letter (ds1 aged 6 not invited)

Then received a letter inviting all 6 of us because of something dh takes. We also ignored that, dh then had a consultancy apt. and he told us we would be silly not to go. So we all went.

Dcs' were fine (except Erin who was a drama queen ) and only dh and I had side effects - very tired (as per usual) and an achey arm.

cazboldy · 21/01/2010 21:45

Molly and Charlie have had it. Molly was invited because of the bout of pneumonia she had,
She is slightly wheezy sometimes, and we went to the docs as I wanted him to listen to her breathing when she had a cold, and he advised it. Then when I took her, they asked me on he spot if I wanted them to do Charlie too, so I did, but then wondered if I did the right thing.

All ok and no side effects, but would say do it in the leg if you have them done, as Molly had hers in her leg, and you could hardly see a mark, but Charlie's arm was a bit red for a day or so and had a little lump at the injection site.

It' so hard to know what to do for the best.

CaptainDippy · 22/01/2010 12:31

We are about SF jab too. Don't know. DD1 has also had pneumonia andh ad to have chest drain and has scarring, so possible take her; but just don't know - Argh!

Oh well. Will be picking lovely P up from pre-school soon and have decided on a special mummy and P trip to Starbucks. Entirely for her benefit, of course

Ahem.

Sexonlegs · 24/01/2010 21:59

Evening loves

Been so busy, so apologies for lack of posting!

Dh was away again until late Wednesday, then Body Combat on Thursday and out to friends for dinner on Friday!

Weekend has been hectic too. We won B one of those high sleeper beds from ebay, so dh went and got it and we have spent the weekend putting it together and generally having a sort out. B was so excited about sleeping in it tonight that she asked us to get on with bath/bed!

The girls are off to the inlaws in a couple of weekends, so we can paint rooms and move K in to B's old room. We know how to live!

Anyway, off to bed so will see you soon. xx
