Hello there

Awww Runny cwtches takes me back!

SPB- Hope the vomit leaving your house, it's so draining isn't it? I've lost almost half a stone this week and I haven't been sick...yet!

Thanks for thinking of me. Jake is totally better now! Izzy was sick at 6.30pm last night and hasn't been since so i'm hoping she might have stopped (not sure as yesterday she was sick at 7.45am and then nothing til the 6.30 one last night)
My wonderful husband took time off yesterday afternoon so I could have my hair done when I got back I realised just how much weight she's lost she's all ribs

Oooggs - wish I lived closer too! Hope all goes well with the in laws there!

Dippy - Wow with the running I'm so rubbish at running!

SOL-Hope you enjoyed the barn dance! Hope you and DH ok.

Bramshott - Luckily Izzy is pretty good at making it to the bowl...bless her!

Thinking of you Elkie.

wow an epic catch up for me! Hi to anyone I've missed.

StealthPolarBear · 13/03/2010 16:42

hi everyone
Ange, really hope that's it all gone
we are still ill

Sexonlegs · 14/03/2010 08:56

Happy Mothers Day!!!

Hope all is well.

Feel better today; felt hungover yesterday after the barn dance, which I have to say was fantastic fun!

Had friends over for dinner tonight but was v disciplined unlike dh and friend's dh!

Off to a lovely pub for lunch with Mum, Dad, db, sil and children (theirs and ours), which should be great fun.

What's everyone else up to?

Hope all the illness is over.

How are you getting on Oooggs?

Elkie, how are you doing?

Runny, lovely to see you.

Need to go and break up a fight; B refusing to do homework and lots of shouting going on.

Have a great day lovely ladies.

xxxxxxxxx

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

leakyR · 14/03/2010 20:57

Happy Mother's Day lovely April mums!
We are lurgified here so it has been a queasy and pretty subdued day. Hope you've all been spoiled and pampered

ScarletBandit · 15/03/2010 12:02

Hi ladies!

Haven't been on for a bit, worked 54 (yes, 54) hours last week so am only just human today! It's my own fault, as I picked up two night shifts for the agency too, but the money is just too good to refuse so I did them!
Went to the wedding in Scotland last weekend which was fantastic! Lovely to see my uncle looking so happy, and I drank lots of vodka which made things even more fun, lots of scottish dancing and twirling around

Elkie, I was sorry to read your news about your mum. I hope you are doing ok today. Is she getting her surgery tomorrow? I will be thinking of you, hope everything goes well for you all xxxx

Oooggs, is your dh home yet? How was your weekend with the inlaws? I hope you are ok, you are certainly not an incompetent muppet, you are a really hard working mum who has a lot on her plate right now, and it is credit to you that you are still functioning!

Dooby, congratulations on getting the job!

Hi Maveta, good to see you again. I know exactly how you feel about not having to pay nursery fees any more. I have just paid F's last month and it is a very good feeling!!

Runny, good to see you, how are your lovely boys?

That's it for now, must go and peg some washing on the line to make the most of the sunshine! See you all soon xxx

ScarletBandit · 15/03/2010 12:05

Oh, and dh told me that he may be going away to work sometime in the next couple of weeks. Would mean he goes and stays away weekdays and possibly weekends too depending on the job. His boss asked him about it, the money would be good so I suppose that will sway it!
Looks like I am joining the oooggs club!

CaptainDippy · 15/03/2010 12:48

Urgh. Having a very "Bad Mummy Day" today. Parenting is sooooo hard. Sigh.

Elkie, thinking of you and your mum today, hope all goes well xxx

Dooby, I work for Thornbury occasionally although they have little work in my area these days. Not sure where you live, but they seem to have lots of paeds work in London, Kent, Reading and Cambridge. Bit too far for me.
I also work for BNA and I do lots of work in Bristol and the surrounding area. It pays well so it is worth doing. BNA have offices all around the country so you would need to check which is your local one and give them a call. Thornbury only have one main call centre in Bristol I think.

I am just stopping by but I have nothing to say - I am very dull.

Hope it goes OK for your mum today Elkie.

Doobydoo · 16/03/2010 15:01

Hi All.
Thinking of you today Elkie.

Thanks SB..Will check them out.I am trying to work out how much tax I would pay overall if I did a few agency shifts!

CaptainDippy · 16/03/2010 15:04

Your poor DS1, Dooby Being a sufferer myself, I can vouch for the horrid debilitating-ness of eczema: Horrid, horrid, horrid. Hope it clears up asap - and the chest infection too. Hope he enjoyed the G&T class and Scouts though Mix positives with negatives - only way I can get through each day

Doobydoo · 16/03/2010 17:23

Am sorry you have it Dippy. It is horrid isn't it?
He has never had it like this but is being very good at having cream applied to bits he can't reach

Bramshott · 17/03/2010 11:43

Right - I have shopped (online) for O's birthday - she is getting a Peppa Pig teaset, a Furreal Newborn Lamb thing and some My First Hama Beads (will hopefully keep her away from DD1's!). What's everyone else getting? Or are you all really efficient and have been stocked up for months?

CaptainDippy · 17/03/2010 11:55

I am not too sure Bramshott. Hmmmm. Probably get her some sort of dressing up (I fancy the "Super Girl" outfit they are selling in Asda at the mo) and a new "Scribbler" from ELC as ours has had it, but P still absolutely adores it. See here Ooooh, just seen that it is on offer!!!! Might just buy that right now!!!

CaptainDippy · 17/03/2010 11:57
