rutho I am on noriday, was awful at the start was having 2 or 3 periods a months but that was just after having Millie settled down after 5 months and now I think I am nearly back to normal (crosses fingers).

I cannot recommend vasectomy highly enough .

DH is generally hates any physical discomfort, stoical he definitely isnt', but even he managed to go through with the procedure. Makes me laugh when he reminds me. He says, 'I cut my pipes for you.'
If you're both sure you've completed your family, it's brilliant.

Misdee hope things start to improve very very soon.

Toolly that is exactly where me and DH are - both 100% certain that we have completed our family but DH is just delaying the inevitable I'm afraid! It is one excuse after another when the truth is he is just being a coward

Thanks for the info about the naps - Daisy DS1 always had his big nap (at least 2 hours) in the morning until he was 18 months old - I can see how difficult that would be though with another LO as all the activities do tend to be morning don't they? I will just see how Hamster goes - although he was up at 5.50 this morning so I am guessing he will have a morning nap today (but he is at nursery anyway).

Misdee Hope things start to look up soon. Take care of yourself. Forgot our dds have the same birthday.

DH and I are in contraceptive limbo at the moment. He says he definitely doesn't want anymore than the 2 we have but I am not so sure. Also he is only 34 so I think he is quite young to make such a final decision as a vasectomy.

I have revealed DD2's nickname in the list below. We call her Guggi DD1 started it. She thinks babies say goo goo so it came from there.

J is poorly, he was sick everywhere last night - Mainly on Granda . He seems a little better today but looks quite pale and is a little whingy, poor thing!

Daisy J seems to be following that pattern too, he likes a long nap in the morning and refuses to go back down in the afternoon which makes for a very grumpy boy come bed time!

Morning all, another morning napper here - she is supposed to be at sing and sign at the moment but fell asleep between dropping DS at nursery and nipping into the bank! Not a good night though. Not holding my breath for an afternoon nap though - sometimes she will. But at least I've got the slow cooker on so I'm spared that horrible trying to cook surrounded by 2 tired high maintenance kids!

rutho nice to "see" you back, you always make me laugh (in a nice way!)
suiledonne love the guggi name. We called Ds1 "chops" for a long time coz his cheeks were so fat and scrummy. DS2 was "dots" as he was such a little dot for a long time. Still is really, but he won't put up with us calling him that now! DS3 is just "M" or Mally or Maggot so nothing as creative there.

M has just woken, so need to go. So much to say.... so little time!

Hi all, Just catching up. Been away to yorkshire for the weekend and we have all come back with gastroenteritis and feel terrible. Just adding DD to birthday list. Makes me laugh to look at the list as i was due on th 14th and then everyone just kept having their babies and I was left as one of the last. 11 days overdue and a 2 day labour. Little bugger just wouldnt get out! By the time she did, you lot were well into your postnatal chats ha ha.

I never did manage to get a hold of the mother and Baby magazine that you were in.

I see mention of naps.
My J is a wee pest fr needing a mid morning snooze too.
I think, after the hols, I might stop bothering with toddlers at all and put DD to playgroup for another day. J just hates it! It is slap bang in the middle of his chosen 1030 nap time. And it is his best nap of the day. Mind you with DD needing to be collected from playgroup at 1130 his nap is scuppered anyway.
Timing it all is a nightmare!
And I dread to think of how much heartache there will be, for J, if I tried to change his timings.

Totally feel for you twink, my dd has a sleep 9.30-11.30 which rules out all parent groups, library sessions everything. We only manage Waterbabies at 9am on a sat morning. sigh...9am on a sat morn, that used to be my lie in once upon a time!
