My work night out is Saturday and i have no iidea what to wear, I have ordered a playsuit from asos but feel i may be a little too old for such a thing now! Will let you know once ive tried it on!

Thats lovely news for your friend ladyb ellie DS loved his ball pit at first but now he only goes over to it once or twice in the day so i guess he is still playing with it.

On the subject of christmas pressies he has got a tiger wheelybug,a handy manny toolbox, some wooden jigsaws, a wooden xylophone and a few other little bits.

sulidonne on the subject of swine flu jabs, i have had mine (am a nurse) but no letter for DS yet. I am planning to give him it though but he has a suspected egg allergy so he will get the different one to me.

Thanks for that food list daisy i think i need to up the iron rich foods for DS.

Tesco are doing photo calenders BOGOF just now so just ordered a load to go in with xmas pressies.

Christmas shopping stepping up apace on here!

I'm pretty much done. DH wants another book but that's it.

Took DS back to GP to get his cough checked and I've come home with the antibiotics not him! LOL I do sound a bit wheezy to be fair.

All this party talk sounds good, but I'm not going to any parties either, Hana- except Daisy's, of course!

dh is fine, driving me bonkers but in a good way. he is working loads in the run up to xmas so he isnt winding me up too much lol.

I'm glad you asked the SS question, Misdee, becuase I've started to worry about that, too. Are we meant to know the real name of the person we are sending to? The email I have does not give it, but I know it, what do I do?

HI , Minirosa teething and its been a nightmare so up to eyes in it all and no sleep. SS I haven't had an e mail to send anything to anybody ... I have the present here so will try to find Mr Yorkys address. I hope the post gets it there in time.....

Does that even make sense - Probably not - I'm incredibly festive and excited today even though I have a very poorly baby here.

Took J back to the docs yesterday who said his chest is only a little bit crackly and the noise is all from his throat. He also has conjuctivitis (eye drops are a nightmare) and is full of snot, cue no sleep for the past 3 nights, but I did manage to get reduced hours from work to look after him.

I don't know missdee I haven't opened it yet. Its wrapped in Gold paper with Red leaves on and has a very cute cat label if that helps??

I think Santa forgot about me ...well to send my present to and its sitting here all wrapped and ready to go .......

We've had an unusual day today. The nearby old hospital which is in the process of being converted into rather nice apartments suffered two lagre gas explosions today- our house shook, we thought it was either an earthquake or a bomb- both of which we have unfortunatley experienced her in manchester. But no, it was a gas main. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt but DS's school has been closed and is closed tomorrow by all accounts. Very dramatic!

OMG Pink; sounds scary I bet DS is happy to have a couple of days off school though

When I went for my 12 week scan with bumble, I thought I could smell gas when we got out of the car. DH laughed at me as I pick up on the smell of gas really easily when pregnant and had been "smelling" it for ages. But, I was right on that occasion as there was an empty pub at the edge of the car park, about five spaces from where we parked, and there was a gas explosion the next morning! Thankfully very early so no-one was hurt, as during the day it's a busy place. I have vowed to trust my nose next time and call the emergency gas line.

busy busy busy here, and managed to get some housework done...took me three times as long as normal as I had to chase both DD and bumble out of mischief every two minutes!

He is off and almost running in the course of a few days. I'll have less free time than usual now!
