Well I'm not going to flame you because I think it would be nice if you had another baby .
But obv not a reliable method if that isn't your plan. Where in your cycle are you?

I'm meant to get my period in about a week and a half. I know it's never safe. We're just stupid sometimes. But he promised

No worries, you didn't say we were stupid. I did
I would have an anxiety attack if I were to get pregnant right now. I think we're ok though.

pepperrabbit · 16/10/2009 21:49

best thing for an anxiety attack is star jumps...so I heard...

Honeymoonmummy · 17/10/2009 00:40

Hey all, Ooh Ronshar, did you chat with the PM. I can't believe he came on MN, I'm quite excited at the thought! Will read it all when I get time but did he answer the Q re his fave biscuit??

Pops had one diaorrhea poo this morning and vomited first thing then nothing all day, has hardly eaten anything but had quite a bit of BM, then woke up tonight and vomited loads again Temp still normal, just got her back to sleep about an hour ago.

I'd actually escaped across the road after I'd finished feeding her at 9.30 for a Body Shop party but only ended up being there for an hour as got call from DH to say she'd hurled. Met some of our neighbours tho, I'm terrible at observing neighbours, and they all knew me when one of them said I drove a red golf. Bit weird. Anyhoo, they all seemed nice, girl with an 11 week old across the road who goes to my toddler group.

MyJob, how AWFUl re N, give her a big cuddle from me tomorrow Hope she's on the mend now x

Happy birthday Alex and Aubergenie! [HMM notices it's gone midnight, oops]

Star, these things happen, you could get the morning after pill to be on the safe side?

Oh yeah, what Poppy ate. I got her one of those toddler ready chilled meals it was a Tesco's own broccoli and salmon bake for babies 1+ and she wolfed all of it, loved it. But then 2 hours later the vomiting started. Have told Tesco anyway, just in case.

I've made home-made salmon fishcakes today!!! And courgette gratin and a chicken summer veg casserole, all to freeze for Pops. I'm turning into Aubergenie a domestic goddess!

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/10/2009 07:49

my poor baby is really ill too now . He has high temp and has thrown up all of his milk, followed gradually by his stomach lining . All mucousy yukky stuff. Good job we don't have too many plans for today. Dh will have to take dd to ballet.

What has happened to mm?! Has her internet connection gone belly up again I wonder?

star6 · 17/10/2009 07:52

I already told you what happened to her, csws

Poor D! What do you think it is? How awful. I hope you and D get lots of rest today csws

Hello!!!!!

Bloody Virgin broadband connection. I suppose that very hungover DH failing to plug the wireless modem back in after 'fixing' the problem didn't help.

I think I have caught up...

Myjob - Tell N to stop showing off. I don't know, all the other babies have been ill but she had to be a big drama queen and get rushed to hospital. Tut.
I hope she feels better soon, it must have been so scary for you & I bet it didn't hit you until you got back home. My friend's baby had bronc-thingy when he was 4 months old and was nearly hospitalised but he is fine now & has no long term after-effects.

Star - There have been threads about the withdrawal method asking how many people have conceived using it. It appears to be a mixed bag but it is definitely only something you should practice if you don't mind having another baby..... especially if DH is a bit rubbish at actually withdrawing! Bear in mind that quite a lot of sperm leaks out before ejaculation.

Hmm - Poor P. It must be a bug if she's still being sick. Not much fun for any of you. Luckily for us, neither of our two have been very sicky (cue vomit-fest this evening). DS used to find being sick amusing and always got to the toilet, M hasn't yet done any big vomiting, I stress the yet.

CSWS - Poor D too. It's so horrible when you start vomiting your stomach lining.

Happy Birthday to Alex and Aubergenie for yesterday.

Pepper and Star - Oi! Star jumps are the cure for heart attack not panic attack Pepper, and Star if I went out dressed as a whore round these parts on a Friday nobody would notice as I would look like all the other fat slappers going out clubbing.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/10/2009 09:25

oh yes - happy birthday j!

OP posts:
50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 09:27

Oh and CSWS - How did you get dd to stop bfing so much in the end? M has upped her bfing and won't eat much. I have tried don't offer, don't refuse, but seeing as she has an 'asking system' in place it is very difficult to ignore. She gets very panicky if I try and distract her and then I feel guilty. She's doing it now.......

50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 09:27

Oh and Happy Birthday J.

50ftQueenie · 17/10/2009 10:22

I see. I come back and you all bugger off!

Myjob - Have you seen the new nappies on C&C? You are a bad lady for introducing me to that site!

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/10/2009 10:32

I bought this bath thermometer btw, which was much cheaper than other places had it. Used for first time last night, and is just what we needed - doesn't flip like the avent one we had before because it doesn't have the long stalk bit.

Will think and reply re feeding this evening mm.
