The sleep will do her the world of good Myjob. M slept all day Monday (on and off of course!) and woke up on Tuesday feeling 100% better.

KSal · 15/10/2009 13:45

thanks star!
myjob... i have taken to putting a dressing gown on over my work clothes so emma doesn't wipe snot/milk/anything else unsavoury over my clothes!

star6 · 15/10/2009 13:49

Wow good idea ksal. I am always going to work with milk, snot, or food stains on my clothes. Poor N. I hope she feels better soon. It's awful to watch. Make sure you're getting rest, too.

50ftQueenie · 15/10/2009 14:07

That is a good idea KSal. I used to go to work with snot and grubby hand prints all over my clothes. When I worked at court I often ended up having to buy something new to wear as you had to be super smart at court! Now I just have to worry about going to DS's school looking like a tramp (a bum Star ).

It is freezing today! I might actually have to buy a coat. I don't wanna buy a fat coat!

When I think of a tramp, I think of a prostitute

KSal · 15/10/2009 14:29

LOL star! well you certainly don't want to turn up to DS's school looking like a prostitute, 50ft

star6 · 15/10/2009 14:47

Isn't that what a tramp is? Maybe I've got it wrong...
A 50ft prostitute - ha! I'm a very visual person... sorry.

star6 · 15/10/2009 14:50

number 18 here

star6 · 15/10/2009 14:52

Sorry, had to defend myself - I couldn't be proven stupid twice in one day. I'm laughing so hard at myself that I asked HOW OLD MamaG's baby was! hahahahahaaaaa!! I think I didn't recognize her since it had been so long, then she said he weighed 32lbs so I thought he must be older than Q because Q usually weighs the most.... ahhh I can't defend myself on that one. hahaha!!!

KSal · 15/10/2009 14:53

ha ha... 50ft meant 17... don't you use the word bum for that, star?

star6 · 15/10/2009 14:57

Yes, I'd say bum
or hobo

KSal · 15/10/2009 15:38

i'm still laughing at the mental image of 50ft going to collect DS from school dressed like a ho

KSal · 15/10/2009 15:39

crikey i just read that back and it looks like it could be offensive... really not meant to be!!

50ftQueenie · 15/10/2009 15:42

Star - I even put a translation for you - check my post. I said ''Now I just have to worry about going to DS's school looking like a tramp (a bum Star )." I think you need a lie down in a darkened room.

50ftQueenie · 15/10/2009 15:46

Sorry I should have put a on the end of that Star.

KSal - Not offensive, but I suspect you want to poke your mind's eye put now though.

Ok, it's time to laugh at me some more. I was playing with M this afternoon and got chest pains again. I wasn't doing anything strenuous at all. I ignored it as I had to go and get ds. They didn't get worse while I was pushing M up hill to ds's school so I tried not to worry. DS has hurt himslef four times at school today so I suggested that we all get our pjs on and watch a film snuggled up under the covers. So I went upstairs to get changed and thought I'll put my comfy bra on........ And as I took my day bra off, the chest pain magically disappeared...... doh!

star6 · 15/10/2009 16:46

lol about bra causing chest pains... well, not funny, but you know what I mean...
I know, I'm having a rough time of it lately aren't I? For now, I'm going to blame the hormones rushing through my body from stopping bf!! seriously, it is quite severe.

I did see your translation 50ft, I just said that when I think of a tramp I think of a prostitute

jenwa · 15/10/2009 16:52

Thank you ronshar for the badge She had new shoes today and now walks like a clown

myjob poor N and you up early I hope she is ok.

lol at the bra 50ft hehe, maybe you need new ones

star you are funny

I have a headache again today and not sure why, maybe being in town with 2 children and spending money on shoes and not even for me

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/10/2009 17:57

You guys are just too funny.

OP posts:
50ftQueenie · 15/10/2009 17:59

Ah ok Star. I'll let you off then. It just came across as if you didn't know what I meant!

TBH, I think the reason the bra was giving my gip was because M had less milk from me this afternoon as I tried her on cows milk. I think the weight of my gigantic boobs added to the strain. I think the whole thing has been boob related. And I am pretty sure the dizziness was a sugar low as I have been positively angelic with the old diet today and have been fine dizziness wise. Plus I hadn't had any wheat and don't have a huge round uncomfortable tummy. Yay all round!

MamaG · 15/10/2009 19:00

IF I hear tramp, I think vagabond

star6 · 15/10/2009 19:08

50ft - I totally knew what you meant I was just letting you know that tramp in my vocab means prostitute. Then I second guessed myself... I thought, wait a second, maybe I'm wrong!! So I had to look it up - because I couldn't be found stupid twice in one day

Oh and I love your fb status MamaG. I promise never to forget you again

star6 · 15/10/2009 19:58

Q has a really nasty nappy rash since yesterday It looks horrible and he screams every time I change his nappy. It's just on his bum just about an inch out from the middle on both sides (did I give you enough information, there???) But it's really really red and raw and blistering . Tried bepanthen. Tried sudocrem. Tried waitrose bottom butter. Tried olive oil. Tried Chamomille. He even does this bow legged bending his knees bouncing up and down by bending his knees and cries because it hurts. We aired him out tonight by letting him run around nappy free for about 2 hours. Then I applied more cream after his bath with his nappy.
I was holding him to rock him a bit before putting him to bed and he would flinch every time I put my arm or hand under his bum I had to hold him underneath his chubby thighs. Poor baby.
