WHAT!?! Ooooooo! Are you going to have another one then CSWS? I still haven't heard anything from the hospital, but I am still very much up for number three.

You never know KSal, babies can make fantastic over night recoveries.

star6 · 09/10/2009 21:16

Sorry Emma is ill Ksal. I hope she feels better tomorrow!! to another baby csws!! Maybe I should work harder to keep DH home tomorrow - I don't want him getting any ideas!
Glad your holiday was good myjob.

It doesn't mean that we will, only that we might. I'm still not sure whether I want another or not, but will certainly need to lose some weight again before we seriously consider it. Plus we are pretty crap at the whole conception lark, so there's no guarantee that we would even if we wanted to.

Just realised that I've run out of icing sugar for the icing I was about to make . Dh at supermarket, but he didn't answer when I called to add it to the list, so really hoping that he picks up message in time.

Ooooo oooo oooo! Sounds promising though CSWS. I have to lose weight too before we'll even think about it, oh, and learn to drive. I am going to stop being excited before I start asking loads of things that you obviously haven't thought about. My cakes are iced and ready to go. I have tested one and yum yum yum. I couldn't make the cordial as a) our sieve is not fine enough and b) I couldn't find a nice glass bottom to put it in.

Glass bottom? What's one of those then eh? I meant bottle.

Well, done Pistachio. All that hard work has paid off, you do make me feel very lazy!

Honeymoonmummy · 09/10/2009 23:00

Hey all, just ahd a quick read thro as am getting ready for tmrw. Happy birthday for yesterday W, I'm sorry I missed it! Happy birthday M! HOpe you've had a nice day. Poppy is 19.5lb now so not far off M. She's shot up in height in recent months.

CSWS, I have some liquid refreshments in the car and ready to go.

Ooh, a man on the thread, so exciting!! My DH is definitely coming too, now he thinks he's OK with his work so we can do something on Sunday, so we could've stayed after all Hotel room non-cancellable now anyway.

Went back to original nursery today, it's now a choice between that one and our fave from our visits in the past week or so. Original nursery main prob is young staff, new fave is further away and will add 10-15 mins to DH's journey one-way. (DH will be doing nursery trips as he works shorter hours)

There was something else I meant to say, but have forgotten... I'm off to bed anyway, night all!

star6 · 10/10/2009 07:37

so excited for today!! Dh STILL hasn't "decided" whether or not he's coming with us... . Driving me crazy. I just want to know how the day will be. Why won't he decide???? ugh. See you all between 12-1ish.
so excited to meet you all And seeyou again csws

50ftQueenie · 10/10/2009 08:08

Happy Birthday Duncan! See you later little man.

Looking forward to seeing you all later ladies, almost as much as I am looking forward to eating cake.

Honeymoonmummy · 10/10/2009 08:10

Happy birthday Duncan! Shouldn't be on here, still need to pack!!! See you all later

aubergenie · 10/10/2009 08:29

Happy Birthday Duncan! Have a brilliant day together ladies. I wish I was coming along too, but to be honest even if we were free I'm so tired I don't think I could do the drive. Are we still going to have a Greenwich meet up some time over the next few months?

Hello everyone - hope you're having alovely time at CSWS's - and Happy Birthday D!
Have spent a lot of my day chasing ladybirds. There's a nest inside DD's window frame and the heating coming on has woken them all up. It was a very little bit like a scene from The Birds, but with ladybirds...

ronshar · 10/10/2009 19:10

Pepper. I didnt know ladybirds made nests. See I love mn you learn something new everyday.

Mr & Mrs CSWS. Thank you ever so much for a wonderful day. The sun was shining and it was just perfect. Mr CSWS, top tip by the way it only took me 1 hour 40 to get home. Thank you again.
Mr & Mrs 50ft O is a lovely boy & M is simply scrummy. If she wasnt going to expect so many BFs I would have kidnapped her

Mr & Mrs HMM, Ksal and Mr & Mrs Star it was fab to meet you all and I may be slightly biased but I think that we have all got the most beautifull & talented babies IN THE WORLD.

I was giving it some thought on the way home and I may have been a little negative about the third child issue.
The main thing for me was because I lost a baby it became almost a point of principle that I must get pregnant again. DH & I hadnt even properly discussed a third but I did get a bit obsessed with TTC etc. As a family we didnt necessarily need a third child. I think DH would have been quite happy with two.
To be honest I probably would have been happy with two but when my fertility was being challenged I had to prove I could. If you understand at all what I am talking about. Anyway what I think I am trying to say is if you want a third child then examine the reasons carefully. Because it is a big jump.

Sorry it was a long boring drive. W conversation leaves a lot to be desired

Lovely day with the HMMs, 50fts, CSWSs, Ronshar and Ksal today
Beautiful babies and nice conversation. And Yummy yummy food I wish we could have stayed longer, but DH told me before we got there that he wanted to leave by 4 so Q could have his afternoon nap not too late ... I wanted to stay a bit longer to help you tidy up from the mess we made with dishes...etc. csws. Sorry about that. Q did try to do his bit to hoover the dirt we tracked in, though . I MUST get him a toy hoover. He loved that! He also wipes down cupboards and sweeps - but he doesn't pick up toys - but is VERY good at nicking them off other babies

I do wish Mr star had stayed home, though. He made the ride there VERY stressful as I got lost (stolen sat nav! grr) and he was SO ANNOYED with me. Thing is.... before we left, I SAID, "now, if you come with us, you need to realize that I don't have the sat nav and will probably get lost so you aren't allowed to be mean". Then, I got lost and he got grumpy and mean! Telling me I should have looked more carefully at the map... gotten better instructions... paid closer attention... it's been 2 hours... blah blah blah blah blah....the told me I was "ridiculous" about 20 times. ugh!
He wanted to come because he "didn't want to miss a weekend day with Q". He was fine once there, I was just so irritated with the way he treated me in the car.
Sorry. Rant over!

THANK YOU to MrCSWS for instructions on getting home. We made it home in 1hr15minutes. Perfect!

star6 · 10/10/2009 19:52

Yes, let's do a greenwich meet up some weekend soon.
I can also do bluewater for anyone interested not this coming week, but next week (the week of the 18th) - as I'm on holiday. So anyone who would fancy lunch and some shopping... I'm in!

star6 · 10/10/2009 19:52

Ronshar did you make it back in time to see DD swim?

RachieW · 10/10/2009 19:56

Happy Belated birthday M- so sorry I missed posting yesterday and Happy Birthday D! Glad you all had a good day and that E was well enough to go Ksal. Jenwa- sorry to hear about your last appt Myjob glad you had a good hol.

Both J and I have been ill, he's been sick once a day since Weds and now has a worse sounding cough. After lots of phone calls to out of hours doc finally got an appt today. Apparently cough is not on his chest and he has nothing serious, probably a virus. I came home from work on thurs and had a really bad stomach bug all night and all yesterday. Still feeling very out of it today, obv J's virus without the cough. Just waiting for dh to get it now. Such a happy household. Off to put J to bed now and then us too. Hoping next week will be better
