Oooooooh how do we do a namechange? LOVE the newnames!!

TRUMPET FANFARE: M slept from 11pm to 5.30am!!!!

Can't stay, have friend over who is babysitting M whilst I do some work! (but will nip back in a mo when someone tells me how to namechange!)

sausagenmash · 08/10/2009 15:59

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 16:09

sausage log into your "my Mumsnet" area with your email add and password then go into "my details" i think it is and scroll down to where it says your username.. change it there and save. easy peasy lemon squeezy

sausagemonstermash · 08/10/2009 16:25

Aah see I did that, ethereal (hehe) but it kept on not working.... and then I realised I wasn't reading it because someone else already had the name monstermash. Poo

I wonder if we'll get ghostly emoticons?

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 16:28

sausage rofl what did you want to use?

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 16:30

ScarySpangleMaker · 08/10/2009 16:33

OK I'm joining in!

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 16:39

we did get the halloween ones last year. it's been a tricky afternoon.. ds could have done with a nap but refused to give into it. he's totally over tired hyper and been V teary at the slightest thing at one point when he was crying it also set off G. she looked so upset that her brother was crying.. she gives him the biggest smiles out of all of us. think it'll be an early night for ds so not much longer to go now.

ScarySpangleMaker · 08/10/2009 16:42

here's a song for you sausage, considering your love of spiders

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 16:43

scaryspangle

TheDemonicButDandyLioness · 08/10/2009 16:52

Well! Naps are like buses, you wait for one for ages then two come along like once ...

Yep, you guessed it, my baby boy is on his second nap of the day. The first one lasted for over 2.5 hours and was around middday. But he is asleep again. I won't knock it, although the long middday sleep did mean I couldn't go out to buy kiddies' birthday presents for the two parties DD has this weekend.

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 17:00

demonicbutdandy rofl and fantastic about the naps. wish my ds had napped today he's been a right grumpy grot.

llaregguBOO · 08/10/2009 17:04

Boo!

Tummumfanciesatoffeeapple · 08/10/2009 17:06

Demonicbutdandy great news about the naps. What did you do? I hope it included a lovely cup of tea and relax time.

sausage ROFL with monstermash. Loving pula and Fi's name changes too. Mine is too boring but not clever enough couldn't think of anything else

I'd appreciate some guidance from those of you mix feeding. I am giving G 2 bottles a day, and am using SMA blue, but G seems to sick quite a lot of it up afterwards. I am not sure whether this is because it's just not as good as BM or whether I should consider changing brands. Any ideas which brand I should be using ? I'd like to use a 'hungry baby' type formula. TIA.

llaregguBOO · 08/10/2009 17:10

Tummum, when DS1 was mix-fed I used SMA blue but used the ready-made cartons. For some reason when I used the powder he hated it but was fine with the cartons.

He is still as fussy about other things.

runningmonkey · 08/10/2009 18:27

Hiya, Just popping in for a quick read. Sorry not to name check but loving the halloween names. Will try to come up with one by tomorrow

tum we use aptamil for A who is also on 2 bottles a day. the only one she would drink.

gotta go, sounds like DH is having a bathtime mare.

EtherealFiByTheSea · 08/10/2009 18:33

BOO Inowwantatoffeeapple I just lov'em and all I have to console myself is a bag of cadburys chocolate mini fingers

sausagemonstermash · 08/10/2009 19:11

Ooooh I could have toffee apples at my post reception piss up elegant party!

We use aptamil - less squirty poos and squidgy tummies methinks

scaryspangle (!!rofl!) - will listen to the song later - have friend downstairs babysitting M so better not be faffing about up here, no sirree!!

sausagemonstermash · 08/10/2009 19:12

Bugger me golly gosh, it's turned a bit nippy!

Salemchocolates · 08/10/2009 19:33

Just popping in quickly to show off my new Halloween inspired name My normal name is, hmm, a valentines name change of many years ago that sort of stuck

formula No suggestions here. I think it might be worth trying another brand. At work we tend to recommend Aptimil or Farleys. I read that SMA is the least similar to breast milk of all formulas, but that piece of research is probably a tad dated by now, so maybe SMA have changed since then. Also it was SMA gold, not blue.

Anyway, better go before the dcs turn the bathroom floor into a swimming pool

Spookyoldcaaaaaaaa · 08/10/2009 20:19

Wooooooh!

Woooooooooooooh!

BOO

FrightNightFebes · 08/10/2009 20:21

We are so cool

Spookyoldcaaaaaaaa · 08/10/2009 20:25

V quick post, DH and pooch here fine, loving having all my family here with me . Keith & Beebee don't really see eye to eye but generally ignore each other. Beebs is loving the huge gardens with what appears to be an endless source of tennis balls to plague us with .

Trying to enforce bedtime for S. Hah! Hopeless.

Right, Masterchef
