Best of luck, PM!

MadameOvary · 16/09/2009 22:45

Yes all the best PM.
You are having more babies? How can that be happening? Where did the time go?
I sound like one of those characters on "Me Too"

VS it took a while but I "got" it in the end.

And I'm sorry Scorps I was of course talking about you not Peachy, that'll teach me to post in a hurry. I would be better of lurking if I'm going to make mistakes like that.

Beth, I went glutenFree for a while, seem to remember something called a miracle loaf that Tesco sells?
Ellis does not have coeliacs or even close but have noticed that if she eats wheaty stodge like pies or similar in nursery her sleep will be very whingy and disturbed, so I've been very precious and given them a list of what not to give her. I don't care. I NEED my sleep. That's what I get for co-sleeping.

LadyBee · 17/09/2009 10:10

oh good luck PM, can't believe you'll have your LO in your arms so soon...am sure it's normal to be nervous about ELCS but you'll be fine - looking forward to seeing you back on soon!

Scorps · 17/09/2009 10:39

Mimi keeps taking her top off, funny little thing.

She also has 4 teeth coming through, 2 great big molars, but so far no side effects.

Am bored. Its gorgeous here but i dont feel up to going out today.

MO- is that genius bread? Great stuff. Exactly what we have, only stuff they will eat anyway.

PM (just bolded that but not sure why PMSL) good luck- am both envious and grateful it's not me at the same time LOL.

BAs was OK at Cm's yesterday after ten minuts- he's animal mad so she showed him her dog and he stopped crying. Still giving me the odd dirty look so will see how it goes tomorrow

EllieG · 17/09/2009 11:43

I missed PM going but best of luck vibes your way.......... (Ellie does new baby good-luck dance)

That's nice about Bas being fine at CM, once they get into it they settle pretty well I think, just takes them a while to adjust to a new routine.

Molly ran in to nursery and cuddled all the staff on this morning, without so much as looking back for her poor mummy. Ungrateful little wench

Scorps · 17/09/2009 11:45

Beth (great name btw!)
Yes I meant genius bread Its supposed to be very near "ordinary" bread. What do you think?
I used to buy Terence Stamp loaves. They are tiny but toast like a dream.

Scorps, I have had to move the laptop now as Ellis was too fond of playing with it and managed to pull the '[' key off - not good for Mumsnetting! Managed to fix it though.
Hope BR got on ok at hospital.

Ellis has appointment at Sick Kids to get her hips checked next month, am crossing fingers everything is okay. She falls over a lot but that is just running before she can walk - I hope!

SuperSoph73 · 17/09/2009 15:53

Afternoon all.

Ellie - I know what you mean about being ungrateful. Sam likes nothing more than putting his arms out to Mabel (lady who runs the guarderia) when I drop him off first thing on a Tues & Thurs. Really makes you feel wanted However, he goes all funny & can't stop smiling when I go and pick him up so that sort of makes up for it

MistergodthisisSal · 17/09/2009 20:20

'lo everyone. To join in in the little traitors conversation: R cried his little eyes out when the nanny went home the other day. I was shattered and felt like the worst mom in the world!!! At least it seems to be a once-off and he seems to be really glad to see me, so maybe he's accepted his lot in life and decided to make the best of a bad situation, lol!

2 weeks and a day to go until my last day. Cannot wait.

I should prob go and prepare dinner - no idea what to... Think I'm going to push the boat out and do....

Cheese on toast.

EllieG · 18/09/2009 09:33

Mmmm I want cheese on toast now...am on very strict diet with not many carbs - am starting to dream about bread...

Scorps · 18/09/2009 11:04

I say Bollox to diets

Though am going to make concious effort to eat better, coz of all the crap the last few weeks. i have been eating yes but not as good as i could.

So tired, i woke up this morning to DH leaping out of bed at 7.30am (he shoud be leaving at that time) and i was a zombie all morning. Roll on Sunday.

EllieG · 18/09/2009 11:45

You only say bollox to diets cos you are a size 8 even when you're PG

Scorps · 18/09/2009 12:00

Ellie don't even joke you don't know how right you are.

OP posts:
VeeEsss · 18/09/2009 12:48

Yes it is!!
Ooooh she might be here already!!

EllieG · 18/09/2009 14:19

How exciting's that!

I think I might be a bit jealous. Maybe quite a bit actually. Despite logically not wanting another one, a little bit of my addled brain is going 'Awwwwww! Imagine having another teeny baby.....'

Just think of the sleepless nights Ellie...and the crappy pelvic floor....and the babyweight...and the no money....

LadyBee · 18/09/2009 15:05

...the teeny tiny toes....

BabyBee is at home with a grotty cold. I'm enjoying a bit of peace while he naps. Next week is my last full week at work and then the week after that we fly back to NZ and then the week after that we get married. Gulp.

Scorps · 18/09/2009 15:54

I have a few more words to say:

Scrunchy bum curl
