Scorps - enjoy your dinner, yum! Glad you got some nice pressies, maybe your DH is trying to make up for something ... can't think what

Scorps · 20/11/2009 13:29

If you're interested in presents, these are they:

watch

bag

coat/mac

I am very pleased , though can't actually wear watch until next week as i need about 50 links taken out to wear it!

BR

SuperSoph73 · 20/11/2009 13:36

Hey BR how are you & yours? LOL at you not being able to remember your 20's ... must admit, mine are a bit of a blur

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 13:40

Hi Soph,

Fine thanks me dear. RL's just a bit mad at the mo so don't get much chance to log in.

I do have a read and a lurk now and again, but feel rude posting as I don't have time to catch up on all the gossip and don't like to ignore people.

How are tricks with you???
BR

PS. DS2 is walking at last (19 months!!) lazy bug.

Scorps · 20/11/2009 13:41

Maybe i won't remember my 30's instead

Oh, that bag is lovely! Others were nice, but that one's my favourite by far! Really nice gifts, you're a lucky girl.

I can't wait for 4 pm when our weekend will officially start. Guess I have to start packing, we're going here. Weather's not ideal of course (it's in the New Forest), but will be nice going away anyway, and it's cheap enough even if we do end up taking it easy.

Hey Soph, like your gifts to Scorps, could I have a fake birthday?

Scorps · 20/11/2009 13:49

at Sandy Balls

(off to peek at it, possibly nice for Feb half term....)

Actually, come to think of it, my 30's were a bit of a blur too

Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to forget your 20s later on. In the meantime, enjoy!

Are you having a nice day??

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 13:50

... sandy balls... fnaw fnaw

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 13:53

It does loo lovely Sal. Pls let us what it's like. We're looking to camp in the new Forest next year. How is being a SAHM going?? Still not forgiving you as I am deeply .

BR

SuperSoph73 · 20/11/2009 13:54

Sal - how's this

BR - congrats on DS2 and his walking. Sam likes nothing better than to stand and whizzes round in his baby walker like a thing possessed

Scorps · 20/11/2009 13:55

Yes, good day ta, currently munching on some chocs DH got me.

Just had a quick look Sal and it's only £229 for 5 days in Feb, 3 bed lodge Will show DH later, i would love that!

SuperSoph73 · 20/11/2009 13:58

Sal - oh and you may need these hopefully not though

MistergodthisisSal · 20/11/2009 14:17

Hehe, I know, have been sniggering ever since, and every time I tell someone, I feel the need to explain it's not a low-budget nudist retreat somewhere at the seaside...

Soph Thanks!

Congrats on ds2's walking, BR. Bet you'll start regretting it soon when he starts going everywhere he's not supposed to (I do, anyway!)

SAHM - I'm settling into it now, thanks BR, and starting to enjoy it. The thing is, I think in my heart I'm more an office girl, but with R this is good and I appreciate that I'm lucky. What I don't understand is how some people without kids would prefer not to work. Not that I think they're bad or lazy or anything (well, some, but obv not all), but I just don't understand why you'd choose that if it's not to spend time with your children or care for someone etc. I tend to get depressed at home if not doing things with R, whereas I felt like I achieved things at work.

Will give update after weekend, if we weren't washed away! We got it on a great offer (£99 for the 3 nights from Fri to Sun), so not the end of the world if not perfect. Obviously won't be renting cycles if it rains, but I quite like that excuse to be lazy avoid a cold.

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 14:23

Are you staying in a lodge or a static caravan?

DS2 is chasing after DS1 and DS1 is fast so this could be an interesting few weeks?!!

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 14:24

Oh and I sent the brochure to DH who called me and said (and i quote)

" I'm not sure if I like Sandy Balls". !

I giggled hysterically for a full 2 minutes.

I'm such a child!!

MistergodthisisSal · 20/11/2009 14:40

Hahahaha @ your dh. That made me laugh too! Please tell me there was someone in the background that could hear dh talking and is now secretly worried about him!

Staying in a lodge - one of the 2-bedroom Pine lodges (one double, one twin).

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 15:16

Still keep giggling now......ahh it's the simple things in life that are important.....

How come you got it for 99??? That's really cheap.

SuperSoph73 · 20/11/2009 15:16

ROFL at BR's DH Oh please tell me there was someone listening when he said that

SuperSoph73 · 20/11/2009 15:17

BR - you and I would get on alright then .... I'm very simple LOLOLOLO

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 15:23

Unfortunatly no one was listening he is quite disappointed himself!!

BunnyRabbit · 20/11/2009 15:23
