Gorgeous pictures.
Really, really lovely. I love natural pics, is that you he's sat with with the book?

LadyBee · 11/10/2009 08:07

ok. I know I did disappear and all, but really...I am now a married woman Fine. I shall go and drink my champagne all by myself. With my hhhhhhusband.

It was fun. We should get married more often. Then maybe we'd remember what happened with a bit more clarity.

Tomorrow we go away to a place with no internet connection, mobile phone reception and ...no baby. Am not entirely sure how we'll cope but am about to face our first hurdle of married life. Thankfully baby will be delivered back to us in a few days so if we run out of things to say/do/etc there will be distraction arriving soon.

back in the uk in a week and a half when, hopefully, without any major life events to organise, I can chat to you lot to my heart's content.

KnitterInTheNW · 11/10/2009 16:00

Congratulations, LadyBee! I shall partake in a glass of champers with you, if I may...

VeeEss, yes that's me. Well the one that isn't my mum is me anyway!

KnitterInTheNW · 11/10/2009 16:04

And thankyou

Scorps · 12/10/2009 11:12

Congrats LadyBee, hope it was a great day for you.

VeeEss, block them

Bad, bad week, bad weekend....when will this stop?? I swear i cannot cope with one more bad thing.

We have decided on Maisie Star [Surname]. We will probably call her Star alot, for pet name etc. We felt Maisie more practical for her life iyswim, than Lacey.

Afternoon all.

Scorps - love that name. Why was your weekend so bad?

LadyBee - congrats, hope you're enjoying yourself

Had lovely long weekend (Mon was a national holiday so no school), went out with girls on Sat & stayed with friend so nice long lie-in on Sun. Did nothing yesterday but lounge around & a bit of ironing. Building up my reserves for when DH goes away again

On Friday Sam had an interview for his Atencion Temprana (portage type thingy) at a wonderful little school in the village just up from us. He outdid himself and the girl said he was one of the most advanced "toddlers" with DS that she has seen. She was so wonderfully positive about his development and about him coping with 2 languages that it was like a breath of fresh air. He starts next week am really proud of him and us

Scorps · 13/10/2009 15:58

I had a bad weekend as my reflaection of a bad week iyswim. DH & I (well me actually) fell out with each other, alot of the bad thinsg that have happened to me in the last 18 months are because of him and i dont need that shit. I just finally looked at what i have been through the last 12 months and i'm suprised i'm not batty . DH cheating twice, a mc, a new pregnancy, Thailand, Norway, Zac trips, SS, i was poorly sick last week too...it just all feels too much.

Ellie - SS came on Friday afternoon - so fast she said, as she had 'important things' to do on Monday and had a spare slot before going home. My Ex referred me, as we have all fallen out (DH removed him from my doorstep) and i refused to be a doormat any longer re Reilly and ASD and needing support from him. Anyway, he started in the referral that DH physically assaulted him and he was concerned for R (DH touched him on the shoulder - SW laughed and police are not concerned (yes he sent them too)). Referral also states i avoid R's dental treatment and have cancelled appointments - i cancelled one as Mimi was ill but attended the following week, and am awaiting hospital referral letter in post. It also said R stays up playing X-rated Xbox games with DH. The only 'bad' game DH owns is Call of Duty, which is shooting and is NEVER played until sleep time when dc absent. We are very strict on DVD watching and i dont allow power rangers!! He rung SS 3 times trying to get them to see me - SW said its funny how he had extra problems to report and she could see straight away the referrla was vindictive. She is writing a report this week, and sending Ex a letter saying no concerns and that it basically was a waste of her time. SW said children are very happy and that i do alot for/with them, and that im doing all ASD things correctly.

I am beyond mad at Ex, all this cos i asked for help. He sent me a slocitors letter full of lies, saying i asked him to take r to school and pick him up PMSL - i live 2 mins from school and go daily for ds2, why would i ask for that? . Its just hilarious - i could manage better and i'm without law degree ffs.

This last few months, well 12 months really, has been too much now. I refuse to go through one thing more. I'm going to take Ex to court. DH puts one foot wrong again and i will wear his balls for earrings. Also pissed off as DHs parents want to 'borrow' some money and i just think what a cheek, we are supporting my 3dc, zac, our house, 1 car 1 van, paying a labourer at work etc.

Anyway i think thats my whinging finished

SuperSoph73 · 13/10/2009 16:15

Scorps - you poor thing ... am completely that your PIL want to borrow money! Have to say I did love this comment:-

"DH puts one foot wrong again and i will wear his balls for earrings."

That will make me for the rest of the week.

Scorps · 13/10/2009 16:18

but one can't really say no, just i thought that we awere supposed to borrow from them iyswim

OP posts:
SuperSoph73 · 13/10/2009 16:23

I guess - I know exactly what you mean though, you sort of assume that they'd be financially stable by now so you can sponge borrow off of them .... that's what I do with my parents LOL!

SuperSoph73 · 14/10/2009 12:00

New photos on profile page (1st 4 photos are the new ones)

EllieG · 14/10/2009 13:25

Yey for Sam! Am so proud of my future SIL, we always knew he was a star

scorps - how utterly ridiculous. Am glad ss recognised it for the rubbish that it is. Things like that make me so cross, is SO not thinking about his children, but just about scoring points, and that gets R nowhere does it. Sounds like you are being very strong and brave though, so well done you - have a un-MNish hug from me too x

SuperSoph73 · 14/10/2009 13:33

Hi there Ellie .... well, of course

BunnyRabbit · 15/10/2009 11:03

Hi y'all.
Ladybee, hope it was a lovely day and your chilling out a finding 'things' to do with your new husband....

Scorps, your ex is a such a . Everything he does just shows up even more what a star mummy and person you are. Tell him to keep going!!!

Now, who wants a laugh? I have broken both my arms. No seriously. Tripped up and got my feet caught. Fell full force on palms of my hands with my arms locked. Fractured Radial neck on right arm and Radial head on left arm.

No plaster though just silly blue sling things. I'm very upset as yesterday was the fist day I would have been allowed to carry and bath DS2 after my op, supposedly. Can barely cuddle him now.

BR

BunnyRabbit · 15/10/2009 11:03

oh and a big hurrah for supersam!!

SuperSoph73 · 15/10/2009 11:28

Oh my god BR are you alright? Are you sitting there typing with your toes? You poor poor thing, how long have you got to use the slings? Have you got anyone around to help out during the day?

EllieG · 15/10/2009 13:47

Oh BR you poor thing! Are you getting plenty help from DH? What a horrid thing to happen.
[sends tea and cake]

BunnyRabbit · 15/10/2009 15:35

Honestly I feel such a pratt. Was just about to go back to my normal hours after a week of going in late and working from home. DH has got to do normal hours as he's been working 9.30 to 4.30 for 4 weeks, working his lunch break, and I think his boss has been understading enough.

Had Mum with me yesterday and MIL and PIL have been here today and have just gone to hairdressers and then are picking the kids up. My Sister is coming over tomorrow.

I have quite a bit of movement in my right arm (although I can't bend it much and it's just a tinsy bit painful) and my left is getting better as the day goes on but hurts like hell and will no doubt seize up again tonight. Can't weight bear or apply stress at all. Can't open child gates, weighted drawers, doors, turn on taps etc. Can't even open the sodding fridge, which is probably a good thing. Have been signed off for two weeks but have been working as have a big project completing next week ( I can type). All prep is done now though, although I would like to go into work next Wednesday, I don't think I'm allowed as I won't be insured.

SuperSoph73 · 15/10/2009 16:13

Oh BR, although I've already said it - you poor thing. At least you've had some help .... wish I couldn't open our fridge The thing is with typing that it affects the rest of your arm, so some of the pain you're experiencing could be on account of the typing you've done. And, you're right, you won't be allowed into work unless you are signed back on by the doctor.

Hope it gets better quickly.

Scorps · 19/10/2009 12:53

Poor u BR, hope you're doing ok

can't saymuch I'm on my phone... Got ss report all glowing and positive no problems at all

I weigh 10st 3 now I am never gonna b skinny. I was 8st 8 at 12 weeks, where is it all?? going to eat less chocolate and cake now lol

bit of weird weekend was a year ago dh first cheated on me but hv been pushing thoughts out my brain. Watched a film last night with a cheater in it and dh kept saying he loved me etc, but no reference iyswim. Ibthink he is a bit sorry u know (ie ALOT)

planning a huuuuuge shop in mothercare in 2 weeks [ grin] oh and dh away 3 nights (yay) this weekend
