Oh, DO NOT FEEL GUILTY, you have nothing to feel guilty about.

Scorps · 08/10/2009 13:31

TBH Soph, i'm not going to apologise becuase he knows that i am justified in behaving that way. I wasn't awful or agressive, i just pointed out alot of things to him and i think he saw what he had done, iyswim. I am going to move on, i'm going to try to.

Just feel like people keep shitting on me and i don't think i deserve it!

OP posts:
SuperSoph73 · 08/10/2009 14:21

No darling you certainly don't. It's not always easy dealing with the shitty times but hopefully it will pass soon & some sort of normality will be restored.

Hang on in there kid you're doing a great job, it'll get better, honest

Scorps · 08/10/2009 14:27

The solicitors letter is so funny and so contradictory, I could have written better and i don't have a Law degree!

I just wonder sometimes, at what point am i going to realise that being 'nice' doesnt get you anywhere. So thats my Ex, My DH both shitting on me. I swear its a bloke thing!

SuperSoph73 · 08/10/2009 15:00

By the sounds of things you'll probably carry on being nice for the rest of your life .... which is no bad thing btw What you've got to do is put your foot down with a firm hand (ha ha) when needed. You sound exactly like my best friend & I'm afraid to say she's only just getting to grips with not letting people take the piss and she's 42 ... so you've got a way to go yet

At least the solicitors letter gave you a laugh

BunnyRabbit · 08/10/2009 15:46

TBH Scorps, I know this sounds weird so bare with me, you're ex has done you a favour. Everyone is coming out and saying how wonderful you are and how you couldn't do more.

I hope this makes you realise just how damn good you are at this mummy and SN mummy crap!!

BR - he has totally done me a favour. The SENCO said she sees 'alot of fathers like him' - basically they shout and like to appear a father, but do little of the nitty gritty. He will come out looking exactly what he is - a waste of space.

Do you know, his Dad has never washed a school uniform, cooked R a meal or taken him to a GP appt. Funny how he can be classed as a 'parent'. Taking a child to the park and to KFC on the way home does not a parent make.

abso-bloody-lutely.. those sperm have a lot to answer for!!!!!

VeeEsss · 08/10/2009 23:23

Oh Scorp.

Scorps · 09/10/2009 11:35

He, for example, is a Knobber

I am of your talking babies. I am hoping and praying Mimi doesn't have any problems. Reilly is ASD, Jamie didn't say a word unitl 3.4 (poss speech dyspraxia mentioned but no asd), so I'm hoping. She does try and i suppose she isn't 18 months yet.

I bought some new boots today, some of those suedey over the knee (flat) ones. i look cool with my bump and thigh high boots pmsl

Right I demand to name this baby in my tummy.

First names choice between Lacey & Maisie

Middle names (Xmas theme allowed):

Well, we like Star (as in Xmas star thing). We actually seriously heart this .

But i fear Lacey Star is a bit LOL. Maisie Star is nice, good, yes, but then i miss using Lacey EVER. We both like Maisie Star [surname], and tbh would prob call her Star more than Maisie lol, or star for her pet name iyswim

We fancy a Xmas theme middle name, but i would like something to match Lacey. Lacey Nicole? Lacey Hollie? Lacey what arrggghhhh. And i thank you

I think Lacey Santa has a lovely ring to it

Scorps · 09/10/2009 13:07

Done

lol i said that to DH . Someone suggested Lacey Eve?

SS are coming TODAY. Ellie where are you??

OP posts:
annamama · 09/10/2009 13:38

Unusual middle names are cool! Our surname starts with "Fire", DD is called Ellie Flame Fire... (and she has slightly gingerish hair too). I first said it as a joke but DH loved it! We still like it a lot even though we hardly ever use it, it's just fun to see on passport etc.

VeeEsss · 09/10/2009 15:13

I ALWAYS wanted to have a baby called Star.
Ella should be star actually.
She looks like a 'star' too.

You know my thoughts on Maisie

Xmas names,..
Angel?
Noelle?
MAry (OFC)
Robyn?

KnitterInTheNW · 09/10/2009 15:38

Ooo I like Robyn

Scorps · 09/10/2009 17:50

DH loves Angel and wants to call her Angel if she is born on the 25th, lol

I cannot, whatever you say Vee Ess, call her Lacey Star.

Seren means Star, that's nice isn't it? Lacey Eve? Arrgghhhh

SW came, was fine, she knew exactly why he rang, iyswim.

KnitterInTheNW · 09/10/2009 19:45

Juat been having a look at what 'star' is in other languages. In Italian it's Stella. I like Seren very much though.

VeeEsss · 09/10/2009 19:52

Isn't Astra star too?
I like astra.
Lacey Astra.

VeeEsss · 09/10/2009 19:52

Ah, look, yes Latin for Star.

KnitterInTheNW · 09/10/2009 20:25

VeeEsss · 09/10/2009 21:01

Not if you get used to it!

I play an online game with someone whose name is Astra so to me it means elfy healer person :DD

KnitterInTheNW · 09/10/2009 21:45

lol, funny how different things mean different things to different people isn't it!

BunnyRabbit · 09/10/2009 23:27

My friends little girl is called Seren and I think it's a lovely name. It always makes me think of serenity and beauty. And Jane Austin for some reason!

VeeEsss · 10/10/2009 14:09

Ooooh, I almost forget to tell you!

DD and DS1's 'father' who has not seen them in two years got married recently (Thanks for telling me facebook) and some girl I used to know added me to FB, then proceeded to tag his WIFE (who the children don't even know exists!) in pictures of the kids!!

KnitterInTheNW · 10/10/2009 23:09

What a twonk!!

Just put some George piccies on FB here, hopefully?
