Good Morning and Holy Cripes... I just caught up on about a dozen pages. Uh... I don't know where to start so I'll just leave it at that.

DD is crawling as well. A few days ago she really was rocking back and forth and knew she was doing something good because she was laughing hard. Now she does this 'golum' crawl and we walk around a lot... oh, my back. She has her circuit and keeps herself very busy now. Today, I was lazy ass mom and laid around on the couch for most of the day. DD was pretty lazy too so we hung out on the couch and watched 'Weeds' on the internet. It was nice. There was incredible lightning display last night. I was up at 2 with DD and it was calm then I was up at 3 and that's when it started. It was lovely.

I am very, very at DH. I asked, and he said it was all good, to be with DD all day on Tues and Wed so I could get some work done. The first day went well, I got loads of work done. The second day was hell. I was up all night with DD then by 5, after being awake since 1, I decided to let her cry a bit before getting her in hopes she would go back to sleep. DH got pissed off at her crying for minute so got dressed and went and got her. He was all pissy about the whole thing. (It was his day off too). I ended up sleeping till nine; DH had DD fed by then. He handed her to me and said he was off duty... seemed jokingly but sort of serious. I had some printing to do and could do it with DD so off we went and he plopped himself in front of the TV. About 11am, I fed DD and put her down and he decided to go run errands he didn't get done the day before. I was just getting into the zone with work and find it extremely distracting to have to be alert for baby when I am working, plus I use materials that you can't just come back to. Anyhow, he refused to wait 30 minutes so he could take her, and made comments about having her all day the day before, (they were only gone 4 hours) and how he was going to have her all night when I go for dinner with the girls, which was lovely, had nice dinner and good wine and caught up with my girls, and I was just shocked that he saw it like that and it set off the crazy train. He finally took her out for a walk and I cleaned, put my work away, (I almost took it all to the dump, and I secretly still want to tell DH that I did just to see how he reacts to being responsible for crushing my career but that would be for real crazy), and have been fuming ever since. If I worked outside the home, he'd have to suck it up. I'm so mad, I really need to make some art. I have a show coming up in January.

I'm not going to read this back because I'll think it too crazy and will delete it.

Thanks Tea! She is full of poo so has had some prune. We expect the poo on the plane tomorrow. For sure Gosh I hope those teeth settle soon, poor lamb. Poor you!

I'm off. See you in a week!

moosemama · 04/09/2009 14:23

Bye News! Have a fantastic time and don't even think about, let alone worry about home!

Dog I would love a pair of those boots but have promised not to spend a penny this month over and above the fortnightly food shops. Tis frustrating but necessary.

I would seriously love a nice new coat and boots that I can just chuck on over my scruff for the school run and still look decent, but alas it will have to wait. (I say that every year and end up getting frozen/soaked etc to death and buying a cheap coat to tide me over. )

Gumps · 04/09/2009 19:06

In the middle of PMT hell here, as I knew I would be and have stupidly done nothing about. Feel crap and hate everyone. Trying to find the motivation to go to the gym but can't be bothered. Will prob make me feel better but annoyed as DH telling me to go which makes me want to go even less.
News have a great trip.
Moose I am the same every year about a decent coat and boots. About this time I think I really should buy some and then think no I'll get them for Christmas, then I think oh its nearly spring so won't bother and then freeze my ass off in January which is alwasy the worst weather. My sister always abuses me and says just because you have 2 children there is no need to lower your standards to a kagool, which is what I end up wearing over lots of jumpers.
Sorry can't remember anything else. Right off to be miserable somewhere else

chefswife · 04/09/2009 20:10

Sparkle Lol at 'hotel guest'.

Hackneyzoo Happy Summer Holidays!

If we lived in the city, I wouldn't have to worry too much about boots, but up here in the hills, we get loads of snow for about a month so I need to get a good pair that are hot looking too. So far, all the ones I've spied, are way out of my price range now. Right now we are saving for our 'vacation' in October to Ontario to see family for 2 weeks. I feel we shouldn't waste our only holiday time of the year going there, but he really wants to show off see family. We saw everyone last when we moved to London in 2004, but didn't stop on the way back when we came back to Canada last year. None of them came to see us in London. No one's been out west since 1999, so I think I have a good argument. Anyhow... moving on.

chefswife · 04/09/2009 20:11

Oh, I also wanted to apologize for the long, drawn out post before. Wow to anyone who read through that.

evening all, just back from hols!

PatTheHammer · 04/09/2009 21:34

Bad September cold kicked in already, curse the year 7's and their fresh batches of germs.............read all but too fuzzy to take in.

Have good hols those going and welcome back to those that have been. Happy moving soccer and for PMT Gumps, hope you feel better soon. I completely understand all things that have been said about DH's (extra children in man-size clothes) mine now has --man-flu a cold so will be even worse this weekend.

In other news DS shat all over himself at nursery so they gave him a bath in the sink, apparently it was the happiest they have seen him all week......he loved it.

Off to bed with my beechams and hot water bottle now

Hi all -

Pat love your 'other news'; they sound really nice at Z's nursery!

Talking of POO - N did his first proper stinker today - really smelled like grown-up poo. Wish he could live on BM alone until he's out of nappies! I had no idea it would be real poo. No-one tells you these details.

Oh no, he's just woken up. Back later I hope x

No dog you are not mad at all. I can't bear the thought that I have to clean up those proper poos for the next 2 years. Eugghhh....

Ok I think he is asleep again. Fingers crossed.

Difficult time as OH's beloved horse is very sick - he is stuck on the floor of his stable and no-one knows what to do, including the vet. OH has had this horse for 17 years. He came home last night in tears. We are hoping antibiotics will kick in and make a difference. I was supposed to go to London this evening but don't feel I can leave in case the worse comes to the worse and he has to be put down .

soccer well done to your OH on his move hope the game goes well...

missJ hope the horse is better

manic teething here - oh my goodness my DS1 was never this bad!

missjackson · 05/09/2009 09:37

Morning everyone.
OH not home until 1am, horse still the same - but vet is pretty positive that the antibiotics will do the trick.
What this does mean is that I might be able to join you Lenni and Pat on Sunday - en route to London - Pat could you let me know the plan on facebook please if it's any different to the bird place at 11am? The mobile number you have for me isn't working at the moment as 02 and orange have between them cocked up my number transfer .

Good luck today ray for OH! Can't wait to see pics of your barn.

Sorry to hear about manic teething sparkle - we have no sign of teeth despite blaming teething on every bad day. God knows how awful the real thing will be! Or maybe they will just pop out without any fuss whatsoever.

Working people, enjoy your Saturday and hope you get a bit of a lie-in!
