Read back over the last few pages of the old thread and just wanted to squeeze Dog. What a time you and d had.

I miss Moose.

I feel really wierd today. Am loving being in on my own [I don't count Hatts as she has naps] its so nice to not have to wonder where someone is and what they are up to.

But I also feel tearful and bit unhappy. Probably fall out. The temps and anxiety in this house started a week ago, and resulted in the awful Thursday and Friday.

Big waves to all.

MissJ Must be hard having DH working all the time in the summer. When DD was a baby DH and I were away quite from each other a lot over a period of a few months and it was difficult as it was such a special time and we both wanted to revel in watching DD grow up together. Nearly the end of the summer though and you'll get to have a cosy autumn and winter together. DH is with us on hols, he's effectively a SAHD at the moment, he's looking for full time work, but not very hard and seems to pick up bits and pieces to keep us ticking over.

Tink I can't keep up with your shopping exploits!

...arghhh.,..was just getting into the swing of a proper catch up but baby is crying...back later...

treedelivery · 16/08/2009 16:55

MissJ - not long till summer is over [sorry everyone!] and he'll be home more. Lots of lovely evenings watching over Nye. I've noticed night drawing in a bit.
Think that means Ray looses her dp for the season though.

DD1 last seen heading off up the road at nannas [stopped there to break journey] with new wagon in tow nd a lot of teddys and dollys.

Ruddy hell dog! All the carboots round here are complete shit! So much so that DH has refused to go to any more! Good buying!
Sports day sounds fun and boat trip, Arlo is getting on fine by the sounds of it. He is a lovely, affectionate little boy and the words, well, they will come .

Tree-love the wagon idea and how cute DD1 put alll her teddies in!

Tink- Did you get broody again?

Birthday party 1 dragged on for ages, DD felt a bit poorly at first and whinged for about an hour then after lunch (which was fan-blooody-tastic!) she had a massive poo and was absolutely fine, playing with the other children and was fine! It was a lovely party, pimms, champagne and did I mention the gorgeous food. All homemade fish pie, veg lasange and loads of Indonesian dishes (My friend in Indonesian!) that were just delicious. I ate so much but avoided the deserts (that looked fantastic) cake and jelly! DS had a fab time crawling around with a 10mth old girl, he's a bit of a flirt really!

So, by the time we got to my other friends the party was almost over. Dropped off pressie and DD played for a bit got her cake and ballloons. DS was asleep so DH sat in the car with him and listened to the footie. It was only a 1st birthday tea so quite a quiet thing really.
Just spent the evening doing washing and sorting out paperwork for the new house. Oh and avoiding talking to DH, we were tearing strips of each other this morning . He just WILL NOT help when I'm trying to get 3 of us ready and out of the house until I ask him and then he acts like its a great big deal and huffs and puffs all over the place. GRRrrrrrrrrrrrr .

Still, he is back at work tomorrow so me and the DC's can have a more civilised day

treedelivery · 16/08/2009 20:54

at dog.

OMG so cheap! You could sell on CNT and make tidy sum.
Have uploaded pic of nappy stash, bit that were not in wash anyway. Saddo!

That is exactly the sort of thing that winds me up dog, why can't he get her shoes on, pack the changing bag etc. Its so irritating!!!!!!!!!
I even had the cheek to ask him to write out 2 birthday cards this morning. As, you know I wasn't doing anything important like washing, dressing, feeding DS, washing up, unloading dishwasher, dressing DS etc, etc, etc............!

Oh dear Pat for you.

The thing to do, if you can, is go away and leave him to it. Go visit a friend for a day or even a night. leave as many children as you can [borrow some if need be] and let him see what it's like.

Maybe he has a stress thing going on at work or something?

Dog - you need an Itti strawberry fields. Drool.

Am uploading pics to facebook, I can't get the fancy mega upload thing to work, so you are all saved looking at all my pics, lol. Having to do it 5 at a time

missjackson · 16/08/2009 22:18

Hi all. Dog I have a strawberry fields, nah-nah-nah-ne-ne... but will send it onto you when Nye grows out of it in approx 2 weeks.

Lenni poor you checking poo. Can't believe he just ate it down like that! Now I really want to meet him! When can you come and meet me and Pat then?

Pat first birthday party sounds fab. Sorry to hear you rowed with DH though. LOVE tree's suggestion ('borrow some if need be' - rofl) though. Say hi to Zach and E for us.

hkz and elkie would try for a London catch-up as am down there Monday- Thursday but already have a packed schedule, so it might be a bit much. Have decided that from now on my friends can come to me. A 3 hr train ride from London (the horror!) should soon weed out the real pals from the pretenders .

Today was one of those days where I just had enough of being solo mama, even though I feel bad even thinking that as N is such a gorgeous baby most of the time. I just need some time sharing the parenting - the only time I get to see OH at the moment is when I am at the farm, and that means having to share him with the ILs too. I just want some regular at-home family time. No chance at the moment as he is trying to make hay as well as coping with a full house business-wise. Roll on the autumn!

Went to my Mums and put N down at 7pm looking forward to a nice grown-up dinner - he was awake at 7.20pm despite being shattered, and refused to go back to sleep. Drove home at 9pm and he screamed the whole way from over-tiredness - it was all I could do not to burst into tears too but told myself to concentrate on driving. Really shit evening and feel pissy at OH even though it's not his fault at all.

tink last night at 1am I couldn't sleep and broke down and used eppm's shopping code and loaded up on boden. Have tartan baggies and matching animal friends t-shirts in brown and in blue. Went for 12-18 months - hope they fit him

missjackson · 16/08/2009 22:19

x-posted with you dog, glad you got your strawberry fields!
