William loves to cruise around the house. I am going to get him a walker, but am looking around the world for a good one. I am also relying upon all of you lovely ladies to share your experience's with me.
MM dont worry about M. It may just be that she needs to give her legs a bit longer to be ready for the standing up stuff. I took DD1 to the GP because she had really bandy legs. He just said she walked too early (8 months) and wait 6 months and come back if not better. He was spot on.

aubergenie · 01/07/2009 21:58

CSWS - I'm pretty sure there's no lift at South Ken, but the District Line isn't very deep so there aren't a ridiculous number of stairs, so you'll be fine if your buggy's not a big beast. I've got a light maclaren now that I use on the tube and I either take DS out and fold it up for really big escalators, or ask someone to help me carry it if it's just stairs. I wouldn't do it with the Bugaboo though as you can't fold it one handed.

I bought a little bubble machine from the 99p shop today. Turns out it's not just Martha who's frighted of bubbles! Ds also got confused and upset when I put my sunglasses on. I don't think he recognised me.

MM- ds loves standing but is very wobbly. He's not really taking proper steps yet. But he does like showing off and waving one hand.

ronshar · 01/07/2009 22:02

Yes Myjob that will be me then.
Speaking of which my house need hoovering again. Just too hot during the day time children asleep at night. Ho hum what to do

Marthasmama · 01/07/2009 22:03

Hmm - You should see the state of me at M's baby naming! I was utterly horrified at the pictures. I am sure you'll look absolutely lovely. Ah the sales. I wish I had some cash. Warwick Castle is quite a long way for me but I'll see what I can do. I'd have to get DH to drive, so I hope DHs and DPs can come!

Ah Aubergenie - I would love to get M & S together. They sound so similar. She was scared of my sunglasses and was absolutely terrified of my mum on Sunday.....because she had her hair cut.

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:21

When did the being scared things kick in for your LO's? Poppy is frightened by NOTHING! [Hard as nails emoticon] She doesn't even cry when she falls. She cracked her head against my breastbone today and didn't even flinch!

I'm off to bed anyway, this heat totally wipes me out. Night all!

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:22

Oh and MM - I'm sure you're fibbing, I can't remember if you've had photos on FB, or has MyJob seen them seperately?

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:23

Oh and I was thinking today...I have my own conference call no. at work so we could all dial in and speak together at the same time - how freaky would that be?????

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:25

Oh oh oh and MM, re the "rounds up to 40" comment...

ronshar · 01/07/2009 22:26

HMM your christening is on my birthday I will be 35 as well.

Conference call, wicked. Can you imagine the confusion, hello ronshar no sorry Sharon, no sorry .... no sorry.... etc. It could get messy! But fun.

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:26

[HMM fears the PND has led to her cybertalking to herself]

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:27

Phew, another person! And another old person! Thank god!!!

Marthasmama · 01/07/2009 22:27

That would be too weird! But very amusing. Can you imagine? All of us trying to talk at once and Jenwa ranting about her in laws.... There is no way on God's green earth that I would put those pictures of me on FB. Myjob forced me to show her them.

Honeymoonmummy · 01/07/2009 22:29

Ha ha ha re Jenwa! Had a little giggle then. Good job I'm alone

Right, I'm off. Night!

ronshar · 01/07/2009 22:33

Ha ha ha. No. I'm not putting them on here. I've seen a picture of you Ronshar and you're a slim Jim.

ronshar · 01/07/2009 22:40

Yes I def prefer silly womble.

ronshar · 01/07/2009 22:41

No I am a size 12/14. No slim jim.
Pictures now.

Marthasmama · 01/07/2009 22:42

My DS would say you're a Noggin or a noodle! Or a doughnut, however he doesn't use that any more since he called my mum a doughnut and she was not impressed!
