X post LaT fun and frolics eh? Won't expect you to be on here very often then ? x

Lilyloo · 23/09/2009 13:07

LaT i think that sounds like a great plan , hopefully take the pressure off a bit! How does S like her shoes ? Dp basically isn't coaching team anymore , there is a comittee meeting in Oct where dp says he is going to bring up complaint so will see. H has been made team captain so hopefully that has made the whole fiasco more bearable.

JKS fingers crossed for good news for you guys today x

MM glad to see you posting , have been told your lurking at kick asse return to work bet your staff won't know what's hit them when you are up to it

Simps sorry to hear about rough day , am very lucky as none of mine (touch wood) have been biters. Not really sure on advice maybe do a thread ? I have put M name down for pre school think they take them from 2 but would hope to be nearly potty trained before she goes. Was thinking two days too to start with.

Gingeme at your response to George ,glad he suffered no ill effects from it!!

Right what is all this farm stuff you are all talking of ???
Took M to toddler group this am. They have changed snack time to another room so kids will sit down on mat for drink and snack rather than trying to eat/drink and play , M wasn't very keen on the idea cue lot's of tantrums. Managed to keep calm but cringing inside all the same.

playgroup panic over - dh pointed out that 2.5 at child minder with multiple other kids will do very nicely for now!

madmouse · 23/09/2009 15:15

that's 2.5 days obv

LaTrucha · 23/09/2009 19:09

Cannot find a cow cookie cutter! [frustrated emoticon] Could you look out for one for me?

simpson · 23/09/2009 19:19

LaT - am sure I have seen them in wilkinsons. They do a childrens cooking set with rolling pin etc.

Gingeme - LOL at your DH with your RL gatden like farmville

My dad was laughing at me the other wk as my RL garden needs work but virtual one doing great

madmouse · 23/09/2009 20:39

Oh (gosh verbal diarrhoea from me today - feeling perky)
have friend from Holland coming she has four boys 11 years to 14 months (she's only bringing youngest)

she wants to buy Harry Potter clothes!! Any idea - would have said Woollies but no joy anymore of course.

JustKeepSwimming · 23/09/2009 20:40

cow cutter?

JustKeepSwimming · 23/09/2009 20:43

amazon have a variety of HP outfits - could you buy them before she comes over?

ps we need a new title soon....

JustKeepSwimming · 23/09/2009 20:46

Oh and day at GOSH:

Some tests clear (kidneys, liver, bladder & heart all OK)

More tests requested: PET scan, a new EEG & intercranial monitoring.

Give current drugs another week to see if they work, if not try steroids for 2 weeks, redo EEG to see what's going on.

Meet surgeon at some point & have this intercranial monitoring for 5 days in hosp, then straight to surgery + in for 4/5 days to recover.

Prob early November.
Maybe bigger op than previously planned as more abnormal tissue detected.

H happy & fine tonight! we are knackered.

Gingeme · 24/09/2009 09:31

Happy, smiley ,troublesome ,terrors. New title ?
Be back later x

simpson · 24/09/2009 09:38

Hi all

J dropped off at school with no problems

He looked sooo grown up in his uniform!!

Am a bit annoyed with H TBH who has now lost his job and wants an old work colleague to pop round to mine to pick up his work ID which needs returning which is fine with me.

But H texted me yesterday and asked if bloke could come at 11.30 and I said "no" as is J's first day at school and he finishes at 12 don't want to be fretting if bloke late iyswim.

Then H texts back and says ok make it 11 then

No asking how J will get on at school or saying he will call to find out how he gets on or anything. I really have had enough of him TBH

Ok rant over!!!

JKS - great news on tests Is the op bigger because she area affected is bigger??

LaTrucha · 24/09/2009 09:45

I like the new thread title but also offer...

I want it NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

Simpson - sorry to hear DH being an ass. hurumph

JKS - good cutter but am searginh for plastic - which is the problem....

LaTrucha · 24/09/2009 09:46

Does anyone have a child with tidy hair?

Sabela's instant reaction to haveing hers combed is to rub her hands through it, sticking it up on end. She also likes to wipe her buttery hands in it..... Why do other toddlers have tidy hair and not mine?

simpson · 24/09/2009 10:02

LaT - M's hair makes her look like a scarecrow

In the morning after breakfast its lovely and tidy with her fringe tied up in little pony tail but within 5 mins (if I am lucky!) she has pulled it out and hair a mess!!

madmouse · 24/09/2009 10:31

Simpson and LaT you two happen to have VERY cute little girls - with or without ponytail

If you lot decide on a title I will do new thread today...

simpson · 24/09/2009 10:38

cheers madmouse

LaT's idea gets my vote for thread title

JustKeepSwimming · 24/09/2009 11:17

OK LaT - i will keep looking, i like a challenge!

Simps - yes they think there are 3 areas of serious abnormality, first there was 1, then 1 + an area around it, now 3.
Doesn't make much diff apparently to the Op, but that's why they want as clear a pic as poss.

Anyway a positive day today, H slept in, then he had a bath once T had gone to pre-sch, let him stay in til he was bored

then a walk to the shops, now an early lunch and i think bed.

DH collecting T today so i don't have to be out for 12.

Simps - Hope J has a fab time!!

JustKeepSwimming · 24/09/2009 11:21

Oh like the I want it NOW title too

JustKeepSwimming · 24/09/2009 11:36
