Was in office at 7.30 this morning having woken sick with stress at 5! Am meant to be on reduced duties as mentally not well but colleague on hols and so many things to do. Feeling calm-ish atm just trying to do one thing at a time.

OMG major panic this morning

Went to get M up to start the day and she had managed to get her knee wedged between bars of cot

For ages I could not free her and she was screaming by then as it was hurting

Was just having visions of having to saw cot when I freed her but it must have hurt her as she was shaking for ages afterwards

Madmouse - packing going okish. Hopefully will finish it when J at school.

JKS - hope you feel better soon!!

Had orchestra concert last night, went well, but could have done with an earlier night. will have to get some the next few days.

Got both sets of grandparents coming next weekend (plus my niece as she's staying with my parents for a couple of weeks, she's at school in France and my sis & BIL don't have enough holiday to cover hers so she comes over to improve her English too) so have lots to do before then.

have got a new bed coming on Wed so need to clear the junk baby room before then....

Had a clear out of the boys toys yesterday. Put it on Freecycle at 12pm a guy come to collect it at 2 . We are getting Edward a new toy today for being so good on the toilet . I ordered him a travel seat today too ready for when he goes out and about without his nappy.
I am holding a jewellery party this evening. Just hope some people turn up

Sorry I've not been on for a while.

It's my birthday today. We had to cancel the picnic we had planned as it was forecast rain. The rain didn't turn up but really it was far too windy here. DH, Sabela and I went out for lunch which was lovely. Followed by a big and not entirely comfortable heart to heart between DH and I. Not exactly birthday material, but needed.

Sorry but a rant coming on. I booked a lady to do a jewellery party this evening. I invited quite a few people of which some told me they couldn't come. It was booked for 7 pm. I got a few nibbles into bowls and put the lemonade in the fridge and the boys were all playing nicely. 3 ladies turned up at 7.10 oohed and aahed at the stuff. One more lady turned up. That was it fortunately 2 ladies bought some stuff. An hour later they went. I feel so bloody let down by all the others who didn't bother to get in touch to let me know. The lady must have though I was Billy no mates
Still I got a couple of t shirts , she does knock off designer gear, for my big boys and a pair of sunglasses for me

i am learning that lots of people out there are rude by my standards - they don't reply to things or let you know if they're coming or not.
some just don't show or others (even worse sometimes) just turn up when you think they aren't coming, grrrr.

Ah well on a more positive note Edward is doing brill on the toilet just one accident yesterday. Going to take him to playgroup with his pants on tommorrow and see how he goes.
George is just a bum really. So sneaky but cheeky with it. His new words for the week is 'bum bum' wonder where he got that from !
My throat is still sore. I have bought some Corvonia throat spray which numbs your throat and has anti septic in it. Works sort of.

Photoshoot bit of disaster. L was tired so took her a while to come round. Initial group photos i had to hold her so she was pulling my top down etc Then just as all kids about to have their group photos M falls and bangs her face on chair Hence lot's of crying and refused to sit on photo. Managed to get a couple of her with dummy and blanket in with tear stained and bruised cheek!
Dp's nans party went well though and everyone had nice time.
Not much chance to be around during day now as dp changing jobs and on gardening leave for next 3 weeks so don't want him to think i spend my days on here
Off camping this weekend so trying to get sorted for that this week. Still to get pressies for teachers too!

new bed is for grandparents - though my mum has irritated me (again) and isn't coming think she may have ishoos with my PIL, will try and get to the bottom of it with my dad this weekend. anyway, he's not long had his hip replaced so needs a bed not a mattress on the floor anyway, so not a wasted purchase.
was going to get H a bed soonish - then found out that Mothercare don't make the same bed as T anymore
think i may wait a bit longer and go for 2 singles that can turn into bunkbeds and get rid of T's current bed instead (any suggestions?).
not planning on putting H into a bed for a bit yet although he loves T's! won't need the cot for anyone else for a good while yet, lol!

JKS we had exactly the same with David. Thought we had missed the terrible two as he was so good but soon paid for it when he was three
George is throwing some strops too now. Yesterday I picked him up on to my lap and he threw himself back and head butted my noes My eyes are a bit dark today and I have a front lobe headache . Just great with a sore throat ! Actualy that is a bit better today
On a much happier note though Edward spent 2 and a half hours at playgroup today DRY came home and happily did a wee my clever boy

bit as my new HV - who is also a friend,was a friend/fellow-mum at the bf group before i knew she was even an HV - wants to come round and chat to me tomorrow, in a 'professional' capacity. said H would be asleep but said she wanted to talk to me anyway, about all H's stuff i guess, but my usual HV approach is bugger off i'm fine thanks. but hey, a chat over a cuppa should be ok.....just found myself being on edge over the phone and thought, uh oh, this has changed now she's 'official'.....

Just quickly popping in before starting a mad day at work again. Hope everyone ok? LAT any chance to chat soon or no Internet in Essex - thinking of you.

Hope Simpson is having a good time - On Sunday she said she was enjoying herself and the weather was good.

Nathan had a visit from his special teacher yesterdya and she is very happy with his development - he is developing very normally judged by the things he can do. She keeps charts of his gross motor skills (well they are behind obviously but we know that so that does not really count), fine motor skills (surprisingly good considering he uses one hand!), self help skills, social skills, play skills etc all on track.

She brought a shape sorter in the shape of a yellow bus. Love at first sight, he has refused to let it out of his sight since!! Has refused to use the shape sorter but has been driving it non stop! Even had his nap while possessively holding it and started driving it as soon as his eyes were open before he was properly awake. And wailed when he was told it was NOT coming to bed. Bless him! His teacher is allowing him to keep it for the holidays but I have a feeling I better try and find one somewhere!

Madmouse - lol at the bus! T had to take 2 plastic ladies (that are for the bath) and bath toy that is now apparently an 'ivory tower' to bed last night...after a few trips back upstairs to find the ladies who were getting lost in his bed, we agreed they could stand on the headboard bit instead.... &
H loves 2 teddies and they have to be in bed and normally he is attached to one when i get him up.

So glad N is doing so well - all your hard work paying off!
