SImps - i know i have to keep reminding myself that he was sleeping for Britain before any of this even started so guess there was abnormal activity with no outward signs before the first big fit.
also when he had his EEG - he was 'normal' to look at but his brain activity was all over the shop so that tells me that there's weird stuff going on all the time, not just when we see something.
anyway, think we have a few more hoops of drug increases and maybe drug combs to get through and then GOSH will start the surgery prep process.
part of me wants to have it done tomorrow and be done with it, the other thinks i must be a terrible mother for wishing something so awful on him. hey ho.

hope you're on the wine - i'm on glass 2
have been good and had a few days off the fun stuff so rewarding myself tonight!
we were meant to be going to a quiz tomorrow which has been cancelled but think we will go out for dinner anyway, make the most of the sitter, even if we just go round the corner for a curry at usual place.

H in bed, DH reading T a story downstairs (Goldilocks from the sounds of it ), have tidied toys & garden, just cats to feed, then DH can cook me dinner as i've been good and done boys for 3 days running (incl. 6 other LOs at various times, lol).

madmouse · 02/07/2009 20:30

Oh LaT that is what you needed - not. Hope it is not a heavy AF.

JKS glad GOSH so helpful and glad the answer to my question was no!

Gingeme hope potty training goes well.

Just back from friends with sleeping child in car - have put him in his cot with no further ado - had a recent-ish nappy on and no restrictive clothing just a romper. Had a really good time, went to get their youngest from school with Nathan (their kids are 9 and 12) then Nathan played with them in the grass in the backgarden (we have no grass just stones and decking ) and in the paddling pool. Then we all had tea together and he had a whale of a time playing with all four of them on the floor while I sat on sofa with a cuppa - nice .

Just hate coming home to empty house and not heard from dh all day . Nathan going to cm as normal tomorrow while I clean the house - much needed hope it is cooler!

Gingeme · 02/07/2009 20:40

Haven't started yet Simpson. Give me a chance woman lol. Gonna start on Monday when the big boys have gone home he'll have less distractions then.
JKS all sounds like its heading in the right direction with H. I guess its good to have people who can help and understand
Got a busy weekend playgroup tommorrow morning. Buying David his gold fish for getting his brill report
Saturday is Davids school fete and I'm getting my hair done and a BBQ in the afternoon.
Sunday car boot in the morning then who knows what
Phew and its only Thursday xx

simpson · 02/07/2009 21:01

Sorry gingeme thought today was day 1

Madmouse - glad you have had good day, hope your DH ok?

I second you on the cooler weather tomorrow as I have keep fit class.

Well J went to bed at 7pm and he is still awake He is absolutely hanging too so will probably be hard work tom

There are loads of kids playing outside so we has probably been at the window waving to them all. Grrr...

JustKeepSwimming · 02/07/2009 21:10

Madmouse - glad you had a good day (& N too!) - hope dh ok - just busy retreating

G - phew, you have so much energy, good on you!

Simps - T stayed awake for ages tonight too - went up at 7.45 and he was under our bed (2nd night in a row) - weirdo
threatened him with removing all sorts of toys from his bed and it seemed to work.
have to let him sleep with 2 books, 2 'ladies' ( 2 plastic women who go in the bath normally), various cuddlies, a cup of water, etc.etc.etc.

feels like friday here, so dh and i on the wine - sadly it's not!

simpson · 02/07/2009 21:29

JKS - I know what you mean about it being Friday, but not

Loads of BBQs going on and still lots of kids playing outside the front of our house

LOL at toys T has taken to bed

Lilyloo · 02/07/2009 21:36

thank goodness its cooled down

Both kids running me ragged this morning.

I never knew there were so many things they could fight/argue over.

Also M is now taking to refusing breakfast and 2 seconds later demanding rice cakes

AIBU to be counting down till bedtime already!!?!

Gingeme · 03/07/2009 13:09

Second you on the cooler day Simpson. A bit of relief thank goodness
George had the best night he's had in a while but I think he has picked up Davids cough
DH went to the dentist this morning. He has food caught between his back teeth that has made the gum infected. He came home with two stitches in his tongue. The dentist drilled into his tongue . Hes not a happy bunny. Luckily he hasn't got to go to work this afternoon.
Well I'm going to ds1's routes soon. He had dyed black hair and he is originaly blonde
Well have a good afternoon all. x

AngeChica · 03/07/2009 14:33

congratulations Nicky! A little boy.

It's just started peeing down and I think it's going to remain so for a while here. DS playing nicely with his little people garage, just given to us, which has been a big hit.

steeling myself for royal visit rom MIL next week.

simpson · 03/07/2009 16:13

Ange I want rain!!

It has got really hot again here

Am back from kep fit totally knackered and M is really starting to enjoy the creche now just as it comes to an end

Is supposed to be one next week but the instructor lost his grandfather and the funeral is then. So he has added an extra session on at the end which is good news for me as it means I can go to the last one as originally I was going to be in the Isle of Wight for the last session.

Also we have arranged a night out for all of us girls next week which I am looking forward to. Just need to beg family members to babysit

Right better go and wake M up as she dropped off to sleep in buggy 30mins ago. She will be grumpy as anything but if I let her sleep later she won't go to bed!!

simpson · 03/07/2009 17:34

M loved Fifi

Our Lazy Town is not till Sept so will be birthday treat for J. My dad will drive us there.

Not sure if M needs ticket though?

Have texted all my mummy friends too about offer!!

JustKeepSwimming · 03/07/2009 18:23

Not taking H - DH in charge of him for the afternoon.

Just me & T, with friend & her ds to Lazytown too.

Though now you say M enjoyed it maybe i should have booked for him - but he'll just be tired/asleep anyway.

simpson · 03/07/2009 18:39

When I booked milkshake originally H was still here and supposed to have M but by the time we went to go he had gone obv. so I took M.

Was told very young children are free as they sit on your lap which is what we did with M.

She loved it but was hard work and she kept bouncing to the music!!
