cheers guys, all i ever seem to do is whinge on here atm, i cant be much fun!

thanks for the bits daisy, dont trouble yourself too much ive got another 4 weeks or so, im just fighting my nesting urge cos i cant afford to nest and its killing me!!

all i can say is that im glad we are using cloth nappies and im breastfeeding cos at this rate our money wont be sorted out till he is weaning!

im frustrated with the baby grant, i mean you cant apply for it till your 29 weeks, and they take so long to sort it out im going to have to do all the shopping either very close to my due date, or just after having him

thank god for the internet, i will be ordering it all online!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 11/06/2009 22:31

Well, we're all ready for the morning. The cleaning is done, and although I've not technically packed I have sorted out the clothes that jamlet and I require for the week away So all I have to do tomorrow night after the party is bung everything in a bag (DH can sort himself out!) and collect up toiletries, books, camera, etc.

I suspect that will be enough though, and that I won't get on here so have a good time everyone!

Oh, and Happy Birthday to Chloe for today and to all other LOs who'll be turning 2 while we're away. Or maybe that should be Bon Anniversaire!

Rialentless · 11/06/2009 22:37

I take it you're going to France then Jammy? Happy birthday Jamlet and Chloe.

I have managed to get through almost another week without achieving anything of note

DH might have had some good news today (and his wages are supposed to be in the bank tomorrow) so fingers crossed (again)

LackaDAISYcal · 11/06/2009 22:58

I hope Jamlet has a good day tomorrow Jammy and that DH doesn't injure himself potting things together in the near dark

And have a good holiday

g'night all.

LittleMissNorty · 12/06/2009 08:25

Happy Birthday to Jamlet for tomorrow and have a good party today . The weather is beautiful here, hope its the same where you are.

Have a great holiday

Ria - join the club....I have done nothing this week except sort out a crisis at work from home

Might go to Sainsburys later....oh the excitement!

Rialentless · 12/06/2009 09:10

equally exciting here Norty - Tesco!

Maybe having friends over this evening though. It's a nice morning so hopefully will be a nice evening and we can be outside (dilutes the OPC a bit!)

DH was up by choice at 6am this morning, and smiling! He has even been heard laughing. I am scared! He made pancakes for breakfast, and a lovely big fruit salad for me Could kill for a bacon sarnie

TheNatty · 12/06/2009 09:41

someone is watching out for me
i just got my M&B testing product list through.
im testing cribs, travel cots and moses baskets!!

how perfect is that?

Dh also pointed out that we can use the carrycot on the pram at first is need be, even though not recommended better then a draw

HellHathNoFury · 12/06/2009 09:57

Yay Natty, good work.

I think I am single-handedly supplying the vampire population with food I have had so many blood tests this pregnancy

TheNatty · 12/06/2009 09:59

lmao fury, i feel like that sometimes.
how are you? nothing wrong i hope?

HellHathNoFury · 12/06/2009 10:15

I am fine.
Am in the office today, it's nice to be 'social' again, even if they do keep expecting me to DO stuff.

Plus I get to stare at the Mr Eye Candy. I just need to find a way of getting the g/f out of the scene...

TheNatty · 12/06/2009 10:18

lol fury!
i have tesco to do today.. sainsburys cancelled my online shop cos i forgot to check it out and no slots avalible now.. DOH!

HellHathNoFury · 12/06/2009 10:22

That's a bugger Natty.

Online shopping is great though hey.

Having said that, you can't beat actually GOING to the shops to be a pikey savvy shopper and loiter around the reduced section.

I got a lovely Waitrose chicken for £3 the other day.

LittleMissNorty · 12/06/2009 15:36

Oh dear...I really must wash my mouth out with soap.

Some bloke in Sainsburys drops a candle and it smashes all over the floor....DD shouts at the top of her voice "oh blimey" then cackles very loudly ....at least we were in the car in private the other day when she tried to say "whatawanker"

Something tells me I'm going to learn the hard way!

TheNatty · 12/06/2009 15:45

omg.. i will never ever go to a supermarket again.
no double trollys, so one in a seat and one standing in the trolly.
they told me off in the store as its "not safe"
i told them they could always push the pram while i push the trolly if they like!
kids screamed all the way round, spent far more then wanted to.

woman at the counter wouldnt take my surestart vouchers as i had more then 4 of them, so it cost a hell of a lot more then i had thought (we spend about 30 a week on fruit veg and milk!!)

never again..how on earth did my mum do it with three of us?

trace2 · 12/06/2009 15:59

hi all sorry not been on for ages. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all who i have missed and whos still to come ( don't get on much at all now) and thank you to Chloe birthday! she spent in Hilton hotel in Cyprus curtsey to Thomas cook as we was 19 1/2 hours delayed.

we decided to risk going on our hols with the help of dad , but just like Chloe she wanted to sample the ambulances and hospitals there, shes fine now again but we are now starting to worry about her weight again we can not get her over 20 lbs and the lose waters stools are fanily getting to us its been two years like this with no answers.

i hope every ones ok i really should try to get on here more.

HellHathNoFury · 12/06/2009 16:07

Natty you're brave, I wait until DH is around to help

Norty, 'blimey' is not that bad is it? DS occasionally shouts 'shit'. Oops.

I had my appraisal at work, apparently I am awesome. I am curious how they came to this conclusion seeing as I am never here and I never do any work when I do show up.

TheNatty · 12/06/2009 16:09

lol fury.. its just your positive attitude!

sory to hear dd was ill whilst away trace, hope your holiday was good otherwise!

HellHathNoFury · 12/06/2009 16:13

Sorry Trace x-post

Lovely to hear from you, I wondered how you were!

trace2 · 12/06/2009 16:37

thank you am ok really and chloes is a little darling just so scared we will lose her

FrazzledFairyFay · 12/06/2009 19:12

I hate doing the supermarket shop with 2 DCs.

Glad you had a good holiday Trace but that Chloe had to go to hospital

Happy Birthday Jamlet for tomorrow, and hope the party went well

We have FIL/SIL birthday party tomorrow lunchtime, out to dinner party tomorrow night then DS' birthday tea on Sunday

LackaDAISYcal · 12/06/2009 20:50

Oh lord....i took three of them to sainsbos yesterday. DD and bumble in a double trolley (DD forcibly removing his hands when they wandered over to her side of the trolley and poking/slapping him and sticking her fingers in his ear) and DS1 running and doing full body skids along the floor....me beetroot with rage and doing that clenched teeth low toned shouting that you have to master as a parent. fucking horrible.

Hey Trace; glad you had a good holiday, but sorry to hear about Chloe's visit to hospital and your delay in getting home....at least you got a hotel and didn't have to sleep in the airport though! Has Chloe been tested for gluten intolerance?

I called someone an effing wanker when driving today and DD whio has obviously picked it up from her brother said "don't say that mummy, it's not nice". humbled by a two year old.....

Hope you had a good party Jammy and Birthday wishes for Dd tomorrow.

Happy Birthday to Zelda's DD....I see Z on here occasionally so maybe she is lurking?

Went to look at tiles today. Mr D said I'm in charge of decor....so I told him my thoughts and got a "no I think this would look better" for my pains.....twunt.

He's gone fishing again this evening. I had hoped for a nice evening drinking a couple of glasses of wine on the patio and then who knows...... But no, he'll come home stinking of fishy baits, insect repellant and cigars and expect me to welcome him with open arms

HellHathNoFury · 12/06/2009 21:12

Any banksy fans out there? I am planning on going to the exhibition

LittleMissNorty · 12/06/2009 21:57

Evening .

That exibitiion looks pretty good fury.

Blimey isn't too bad....its the alarming frequency with which I'm being copied and she is so LOUD. My language in the car is pretty appaling and I've really got to get a handle on it . We also have double trolley at the supermarket, one baby seat for DS though and I spend all my time saying keep your hands in, don't touch him, and I told you....in a very teeth gritting threatening voice. Today however she was so funny just shouting the names of everything as we went around. Socks are "cocks", milk is "muck", so we done a good job of entertaining everyone. And DS just grinned all the way around and charmed everyone

DH in the other room sulking playing on PC cos I bought strawberries and not cream

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/06/2009 22:01

Party was a sucess 8 LOs including Jamlet, plus the mums, out in the garden. Quite a few fights over the police car but generally all was well. Pics on FB.

Exhausted now but all packed for holiday and ready (as you can be) for a 4.30 departure tomorrow morning

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 12/06/2009 22:02

Oh and jamlet said "bye" as the last guest left the party I know it's a long way behind some of the others speech wise, but I was so pleased

And Trace, sorry to hear the Chloe's been poorly again. But glad you had a good holiday.
