I heart my dishwasher. I would have sex with it if it had a penis! It is truly the best hing I have ever bought (except my massive American fridge freezer!)

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 21:29

greetings Holly

Yes hopefully DS is fine. I'm not too worried. He's a rather large resilient little soul.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:30

How do you do it fury? Then again I am a lazy biatch and so is dp. Having him hanging around like a bad smell makes me lazier.

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 21:30

Holly

I think if you said on ebay that you'd have sex with your dishwasher if it had a penis, you could probably make some money out of that

Ohforfoxsake · 05/06/2009 21:32

you could always sit on the washing machine during full spin Hollly

apparently...

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 21:32

how do I do it?

It's easy

I have full time childcare, I work ("work") from home, and DH knows if he doesn't chip in to my standard he can fuck off

Plus I also sell anything that hasn't moved for 6 months

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:32

I'll do anything for money (well almost)!!

Mother fucking ebay (or MFE as I have been calling them of late) keep removing my tights listings. I hate them. MFE sucks!

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 21:34

holly i would have sex with my dishwasher. and my tumble dryer..

appliances make my life bearable...

i dont know HOW people manage without.

but then i dont have a car and people ask me all the time how i managed with a newborn and a one year old on public transport

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:35

Ah, maybe I need to get a new man. One that knows how to use a hoover!

Alas there is a worktop on top of my washing machine else I'd give it a go

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 21:36

Anyway I am off.

I think I am expected to perform tonight.

YAWN. The price I must pay for a clean house

night all!!

LackaDAISYcal · 05/06/2009 21:36

DH is jumping with glee foxy...oh no he isn't; there's no room as we can't move for fecking prams again

I am starting work on Sunday ! Not real work, but I had mooted doing some call centre work from home (legit stuff NOT sex lines before you all get smutty!). DH suggested I concentrate on selling all our crap on ebay and treat it as a real job and be disciplined about actually spending a couple of evenings a week as it will be much more lucrative than earning minimum wage for 15 hours a week....so as of next week he is locking me in our office and not letting me out until I've listed everything that isn't nailed down!

At some point I need to get a real job though; if only to give me the chance to get away from this lot for a few hours!!

i think men that do housework are few and far between.. i certainly dont know any in RL, if it wasnt for you guys i would think they were just mythical creatures..

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:39

Not having a car is a fucking nightmare. We have been without one for 4 weeks. It's driving me mad. We can't do anything. I can walk to Waitrose or the Tesco garage and to the park or at a push to my parents' or town, but we can't do any activities at the weekend or go big food shopping. I hate internet shopping. I guess if you live in London though there are more places within easier distance.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:40

Which pushchairs did you get daisy?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:44

I've asked for my first post to be removed. I don't think I should have mentioned the brands I was testing! Whoops!

LackaDAISYcal · 05/06/2009 21:45

ooh, holly, there is one of these. Never heard of it before...looks a hoot!

Only got three this time though, but can't say more as not allowed to discuss it

I had an email about travel products/travel cots as well!

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 21:48

we are actually in a pretty bad area for shops.
i have one corner shop and a petrol garage.
my docs is over a mile away, so is the nearest supermarket.
there are no buses near me, the stop is a half hour walk away.

the only thing i have is a school and if tom dont get in there in september, he wont be going as i wont be up to running him to school thats miles away with a newborn and ellen.

so i spose a car would make life easier...
i just cant be arsed to learn, and petrol is SSOOO expensive.. not to mention insurance and tax..

nope i will make do thank you!!

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 21:49

ooh i got that email daisy.. dont pinch it off me!!

well done for getting prams again tho, and tell DH i will take one of your olds ones soon so he can put off barracading you in the shed till its clear!!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 21:54

If anyone is up for a bit of bargain shopping take a look at the Boots Grabbit thread on MSE. I love it. I never post, just read it and steal the ideas for amazing bargains people get. Today I got 6 of these for free, plus some free pantene conditioner, 200 points for spending £1 and some Walkers crisps for 5p a bag. I spent about £10 and got 3 massive carrier bags worth of booty! Last week I got 15 shaving oils, shave gels and stuff for free or nearly free. Bootsing is brillo!

LackaDAISYcal · 05/06/2009 22:02

what's MSE holly?

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 22:04

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 05/06/2009 22:05

Money Saving Expert. Hang on I'll link it. Here. It is v confusing thread, but it makes sense after a while. You have to wade through the reams of chat to get to the bargains, but they are there.
