Well Happy Anniversary Norty and Happy Birthday to Daisy's DD

Nice Bump, Natty

OK, was going to look at some Nat Trust gardens near Basingstoke with friends on Sunday, but heavy rain forecast They live South London, we live Oxfordshire, they have DD age 5, DS age 3, we have Jamlet. Indoor suggestions please?

LittleMissNorty · 05/06/2009 10:13

Oh bummer.....we were going to visit a couple of farms on Sunday as its Open Farm Sunday....don't fancy doing it in the rain

Jamlet feeling better Jammy?

Can think of any suggestions atm...

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 10:22

my kids are fighting..
ellen: mummy is the best
tom: daddy is the best
ellen: NO! mummys the best!
tom: NOO! kicks ellen daddy is the best.. see?!
ellen: now crying ok daddys the best

PMSL!

jammy indoor play areas? one in catford, beckenham and croydon that i know of tho that might be too far east for you.

cinema is good, most places have mum and toddler screenings on a sunday?

erm swimming?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/06/2009 10:24

Have found this place here which might suit. Jamlet might be a little young, but should be OK - what do you reckon?

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 10:32

looks ok jammy, my two love the science museum and it looks similar?

Rialentless · 05/06/2009 14:28

FFS! what is it with men and "why do today what I can put off til next week"???

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 14:32

because they are lazy feckers ria...

Rialentless · 05/06/2009 14:38

DH is doing my head in. OK he had to go to the jobcentre this morning, and he is going to his mums on the bus after tea, he is not doing anything else

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 15:22

oh i know ria, DH has done no housework since sunday, ive been doing it all.

and he doesnt even have a job as an excuse! he has just sat on the sofa for days

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/06/2009 15:22

The thing that get sme is that they can do nothing for, ooooh ages, and then when they decide something needs doing it's quick smart! You must drop everything and do this now. Ggrrrrr...

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 16:01

yup! dh woke me up at 8am the other day moving the bedroom around.. while i was sleeping in there!

he didnt see why i was so annoyed

Rialentless · 05/06/2009 16:20

oops, sorry to starts a man rant

DH emptied the rubbish out of the car before the school run (probably took 5 mins) and was going to hoover it afterwards (could easily have done it before we went) and now it's raining. He has been going to tidy the conservatory and finish doing the paperwork all week -

I am NOT doing anything either, don't see why I should. I'll wait til he's gone.

agree about the quick smart thing, or they stomp about moving stuff as if they're the only ones who ever do anything.

tea is a disaster too - I forgot I asked DH to freeze the mince when we got in from the supermarket the other day, so I can't make spag bol. fish fingers for DH and DS1 &3, DS2 might have beans on toast and I've got houmous and pitta for later.

I just want to sleep

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 16:26

oh im shattered today.
dh is pissing me off as he has fallen asleep three times today.

so the pregnant one will do all the cooking and childcare, you just sleep lovie, i mean your hips hurt and you have a baby bullying your bladder too..

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 17:24

I think I must be very lucky with dh

He's currently cleaning up dinner while I faff on the PC

Ohforfoxsake · 05/06/2009 18:16

Oh dear, sounds like some H's aren't pulling their weight.

Can't be easy for your DH Natty, and must make things so much harder for you. Still, it will get better soon enough

Ria, your DH has no excuse. Give him a kick up the arse from me

LittleMissNorty · 05/06/2009 18:35

I'm lucky as well....he's entertaining the DCs as I've had enough of them

Mind you, he will probably want payment in kind....it is our anniversary.....can I be bothered though....

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 18:56

PMSL! norty!

thats an idea, bribe him with sexy favours!

everytime this baby moves i get pain in my bladder.. what do we think UTI?

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 19:30

OH FFS I am really fucking bored
Hospital ward not answering phone
nothing on tv
DS is behaving...oddly

Natty, you seem to be suffering a lot in this PG, did you see the GP about the other pains you were having? Sounds like you need to be checked out.

LittleMissNorty · 05/06/2009 19:33

My DCs are in bed - thank fuck. Its been one of those days. DD in her big bed for the first time....she's looks way too small to be in such a big bed!

DS been trying to turn over all day and screaming in fustration

I think I've got PMT....huge glass of wine coming up for me!

Better go and cook some dinner then....I'm hungry!

Fury, why you ringing the hospital? All ok?

The last 10 weeks of my pg were miserable Natty with one sort of pain or another....if its bad, call the out of hours docs.

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 19:34

yeah fury i am really suffering.

i told the consultant at the hospital and my gp and my midwife

they all are of the opinion that i have had too many babys in too quick a succession, and have not allowed myself enough time to recover, or lose the baby weight between.

so its all my fault and stop fucking complaining...

which of course is hard to do as 1. i am in alot of pain and 2. i am very good at complaining!!!

LittleMissNorty · 05/06/2009 19:35

oh and I definitely can't be bothered!

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 19:47

Natty I never even considered that. Do you agree?

No worries Norty, I am mostly fine, can't believe I got D&V from office canteen...
Needed to get through to hospital as mum was getting a new knee today, I wanted to see how she was.

TheNatty · 05/06/2009 19:59

no fury i dont agree to be honest but no one will listen to me, so im putting up with it for the sake of six weeks.

at the end of the day if i can have one child born by c-section and fall pregnant straight away after and have a perfectly healthy pregnancy (bar a bit of anemia) WHY is this one so bad??
and i did lose a LOT of weight, infact there is a picture of me when ellen was about 6 months when i am so skinny (when i was on anti depressants funnily enough)

so really? how can they seriously think that?

bloody docs!

Rialentless · 05/06/2009 20:23

lucky me, I have 2 DSs with headaches and probable temperatures, baggins is hyper.

Put DH on the bus 2 hours ago, he should almost be at his Mums. This time tomorrow it should all be over. (then it'll just be a few days worth of wincing and groaning)

happy anniversary Norty, it's mine in 2 weeks - 13 years

happy birthday babyboo

HellHathNoFury · 05/06/2009 20:26

oh yes, happy birthday Daisy boo
