no1putsbabyinthecorner · 13/05/2009 10:54

Lol dizzy
So I will try to remember what I have read.
Firstly YEAH for lwfh congratulations Dont forget us if you join the nest due thread.

vg & sazzles PMSL at you this am with the hairy armpits. and sazz yes they do always know when you have used their razor dont they??

miamla hope you are ok, you 'sound' tired.Hope I am not stressing you out with too much sewing.

steak fingers crossed and good luck for today, hope all goes well.

Will say hi to everyone and well wishes all round as I have now forgot.
Very envious of all these meetups. Bristol a bit too far for me for just a few hours, and London was not long enough either

Think I am getting a bit run down here, have bit of sore throat and cough coming on, and according to my sister I have thrush, never had it before and it is hell. Went for some cream yesterday, then went back to boots for something else and the twats wouldnt let me have anything without getting it confirmed by my gp.
Typical as you need an appointment before you are ill to see a doctor round here.
Feeling exhausted and fed up.
Any advice re super foods/drinks to help give me a boost would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for me me me yet again.
I promised myself I would stay away for a few days until I had something positive to add, but I miss you all too much

dizzydixies · 13/05/2009 10:59

No1 - you can buy diflucan without a prescription which should help

oopsacoconut · 13/05/2009 12:13

No1 - You can also but canestan off the shelf now try and get a tablet and cream, I found it good to treat both ends IYSWIM. Also if you and DH have had unprotected you will need to treat him too as you can pass it back and forth between you. (DH was not impressed with me!)

TwilightSurfer · 13/05/2009 12:21

Dizzy I am an expert.
I'm a picky eater.
DD1 is a picky eater.
Breakfast seems to be an issue for us both.
Her more than me but I am older and wiser.

She too always "tells" me she is hungry but then doesn't eat.
I've learned to gauge her needs and do breakfast in stages.

This morning she is having a glass of orange juice (4oz) with a string cheese stick.
In an hour she might have a biscuit with jelly and bacon and chocolate milk. Then she'll be in school until 2.

Some mornings the two parter will include a tomato with crackers and then waffles. Or dry cereal (she doesn't like to mix it with milk...milk on the side she says) and then a peanut butter spoon.

I had to learn to think outside the box and take the pressure off the subject. The more I begged, pleaded, scolded...the less she was try and eat. Now we found a rhythm and it's working.

Miamla · 13/05/2009 14:14

no1 no! you're not stressing me at all! In fact, i'm getting a positive break from DS and RL when I'm sewing so i should be thanking you. To me sewing=escapism!

i'll send all those concerned an email but I've got some fabric samples now

Oh and does anybody know the pin to my cash card? nope? neither do I! so embarrassing. i stood there like a muppet trying to remember it and gave up. had to leave shopping behind FFS!! i'm loosing my mind

breakfast i hate eating first thing. i need at least an hour to wake up before i can face breakfast. just thought i'd share in case it helps any of you

DS is in absolute hysterical laughter at the moment and i have no idea why! i think i'd better go and calm him down before he bursts!

Steaknife · 13/05/2009 15:11

right, I really am packing I've not been finishing a new dress to wear.

AFter checking my route on the AA website, I realised that I had way over estimated the driving involved and that in fact it wouldn't be too outrageous to ask dad to come and get us in return for petrol money.

So all sorted now and not going to have to pay stoopid money for carhire. Though i am a bit that I wont' be driving. I love driving.

Ah well, I will have to sweet talk my mum to put me on her insurance - she has a very whizzy golf.

right I really am packing, no I'm not I'm having a shower - still in my jammies under my real clothes - [lazy emoticon]

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 13/05/2009 15:18

dizzy thanks.
oops yes I bought the cream off the shelf in local pharmacy, but then went to boots yesterday afternoon for the tablet thingy and they wouldnt sell it me unless I had it diagnosed by doc, and not been near dh for couple of weeks.

Isn't there a song by an American band called the 'mommies' called 'I only want to wee alone'?

I can't find it on Google but I'm positive I read it somewhere.

I've never heard of Housewives on Prozac. Works for me! Cool.

I'm sick. Oddly not sick sick though. I just rubbed my neck and noticed my tonsil is swollen. I've had this sinus thing for two weeks now. I knew it was getting worse. DANG IT!!

Reese had a MASSIVE poo in the truck just as we got to Target. I carefully changed her and patted myself on the back for having an extra set of clothes for her in her bag. I never check that. Everyone go check your diaper bags for extra clothes. And wipes. That would have been really nasty had we run out of wipes.

I have two weeks worth of laundry surrounding me. I'll be doing laundry until tomorrow night. Why Why Why

dizzydixies · 13/05/2009 17:01

am not sure what you mean by that
