Oops there's 2 different links there.

Right, I'm off to sort out Poppy's 4-6 month photos for FB She's been "feeding" for an hour and a half now! Starts sucking again when I try to remove myself! Bless her!

Honeymoonmummy · 30/04/2009 16:52

Oh and I'm off to see an acupuncturist (sp) tomorrow about my achiness and PND, fingers crossed it'll help [HMM bloomin' well hopes so at £55 quid! ]

Marthasmama · 30/04/2009 17:06

Jenwa - Really really really? If so wow! If you're having us on, then you cheeky monkey!

pepperrabbit · 30/04/2009 17:24

jenwa - which was the trickiest job move! nanny to welder??

Marthasmama · 30/04/2009 17:31

DS has just read me his school book and quite frankly, ds & I found it disturbing! It was called Yum and Yuk and was a bit bizarre in that it featured a talking chicken. The chicken goes to breakfast with the children and the children are eating......eggs! The chicken says yuck so just watches them. Ds said
'The chicken watched the children eat her babies!' which is obviously not strictly true but eek!

Honeymoonmummy · 30/04/2009 18:01

What did I miss re Jenwa?? One hour later and I finally just got my nip back!! MM, you may have a future vegan on your hands there...

Marthasmama · 30/04/2009 18:06

Hmm - Don't say that DH will disown him! He went through a phase of refusing to eat animals when he was about 3. DH was not impressed.

We're going to have fish and chips and wine tonight. It's classy all the way here!
The credit crunch circles us ominously at the mo. One neighbour on each side of us has been made redundant, and our old house has been repossessed! Takeaway is to cheer ourselves up.

Marthasmama · 30/04/2009 20:09

We're having curry tonight. And........we might have a buyed for our appartment in Spain!!!! Hooo fucking RAH!!! I've probably jinxed it now, but it will be the best news ever if it works out.

Thank you Myjob! DH had it before we re-met. He bought it when he was young free and single and it has been a drain on our finances since we've been together. It has been impossible to get decent tennants and so we ended up having to transfer £500 a month over there to pay the mortgage. So if it sells it will be fantastic. We will finally be able to sort this house out and do some decorating!

Fish and chips and wine sounds lovely Pepper. Several friends of ours have been made redundant recently, and dp recently found our his contract is finishing at the end of June. I'm going back to work in July, so we'll be living on my part-time salary for a while, but at least I don't have to worry about childcare for the time-being.

Great news about the flat MM. Must be bloody difficult selling an appartment in Spain at the moment.

Good luck with the weaning tomorrow, HMM. What are you going to start with?

Sooo tired.

aubergenie · 30/04/2009 20:46

Dp is so lovely. I've been lying on the sofa whining about being so tired and saying "Why can't we have fish and chips and wine?" (despite the fact that he cooked me a nice thai curry for tea). So he's going to bring some wine home and cycle to the chip shop for me tomorrow evening. Aaah

Is anyone watching Kirstie's Home Made Home? I wish I had time to make some of those things? (But not that awful Kaffe Fasset cardie she tried on earlier).

aubergenie · 30/04/2009 20:49

some of those things. Not things? That makes me sound like my teenage niece.

Marthasmama · 30/04/2009 20:51

Awww lovely DP. I bought some cookies for DH and DS and am desperately trying to avoid eating them

Honeymoonmummy · 30/04/2009 21:11

I want to know MM's story too!!!! Tell me tell me!

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/04/2009 21:20

Hi all- another busy but good day. Went to work for a meeting, was good to see everyone and Jack was cuddled lots so I got a bit of a break and some adult conversation. Took him to clinic too, he's now 16.5lb!! Gained nearly 1lb in the last two weeks, must be the purees!

We've had home made stir fry tonight but tomorrow night is take away curry. Yum MM- Eat the cookies, or maybe just one.. go on I've just had a huge chocolate muffin.

Honeymoonmummy · 30/04/2009 21:22
