norty. (when I get my B&B with tea room and bistro, if I can't buy The Villa in Knaresborough, it's going to be called Midsummers, after our wedding... unless of course I've got a new improved DH by then, but maybe I could have a Ria's something too). DS is cute too.

Is it odd that we notice things that make us think of each other? I do it all the time.

OK, this diet is getting difficult. I may have to go to bed like now! I would like to beat the curse of day 2 though! I think RC has an online club too norty.

broody daisy???

tired baggins to put to bed...

LackaDAISYcal · 01/04/2009 20:23

bumble has had some mashed potato and brocolli

Not quite BLW as I spoon fed him the mash, but he was happily gnawing on the brocolli himself until he dropped it. And not a drop of mash came back out and he was squeling with glee everytime the spoon came into view!

My little baby is all grown up

Norty, he is gorgeous, but I am definitely not broody. Two is my lot.

Daisy, I can't belive he's eating solids , it only seems like a few weeks since we were all desperately waiting for news that you'd had him

TheNatty · 01/04/2009 21:16

Ohforfoxsake · 01/04/2009 21:20

I've just had a near-death experience! fecking cat was asleep on 4th step down of the stairs and I slipped on him. Luckily did not fall down, but feel a bit shaky.

Natty???

Riallytoofattoflounce · 01/04/2009 21:35

cat is OK too BTW

TheNatty · 01/04/2009 21:36

so sorry i got caught up with the medised page someone linked on here earlier..

hang on i will type it out.. long story

TheNatty · 01/04/2009 21:41

RIGHT!

got to hospital at 2.15 for a 2.30 appointment.. sit about in hospital until 4.00... finally get seen.
by some STUPID woman who kept taking the measurements WRONG and it kept coming up as WAY WAY above normal levels.
cue me panicking.. woman running of to get consultant

meanwhile another woman tells me i tested positive for a infection (the cat poo one i forgot the name)

cue me panicking AGAIN thinking oh no the baby is blind as well now..

SO..

enter european consultant. she takes on look at blood tests, tells me i had the infection in childhood and its nothing to worry about.

then sticks the scanner on my belly and says "this baby is fine i can tell without measuring the fluid is fine" she takes 2 lots of measurements, sure thing bang on 60th percentile.

so basically i went from terror to elation in about 10 mins.

FUCKING doctors, my poor blood pressure!

oh and its DEF a boy, consultant said he has a huge willy
must take after his daddy

Ohforfoxsake · 01/04/2009 21:44

Bloody marvellous Natty. I'm chuffed for you. Does this mean you get your homebirth?

fab news natty, but TMI

LittleMissNorty · 01/04/2009 21:52

Great news Natty

TheNatty · 01/04/2009 21:52

unfortuantly my homebirth depends entirly on lewisham hospital.
the midwife told me the other day they wont let me because i had group b strep in a previous pregnancy so they want to treat me as if i have it although i tested negative for it..

so if it has to be a hospital.. i would rather it was a GOOD hospital. so kings it will be.
bugger it after all this stress i dont know if im even up to fighting for my HB, might just have a bloody section

Riallytoofattoflounce · 01/04/2009 22:02

would it be really rude to go to bed before DH gets home? I am STARVING (well, I probably aren't, but I think I am)

TheNatty · 01/04/2009 22:05

Riallytoofattoflounce · 01/04/2009 22:13

OK, now I'm a teensy bit broody - must be a girl thing!
