i reckon the other team were sick or something (maybe half the team were missing limbs?)

Riallytoofattoflounce · 02/04/2009 10:26

I have a tartan teddy in my bedroom that I've had since the 1978 wrold cup called Ally McLeod

I beat the day two diet demons

and it's just as well I went to bed as I think DH got home after midnight - pretty crap for a person who doesn't have a proper job!

How are you today daisy? How's things at yours Norty? All a bit better I hope.

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 10:32

yes its been a tough week this week for alot of people on this thread. ive been a bit rubbish keeping up, but i hope your healing better now daisy, and norty that morning sounded hellish, i do not envy you!

lol at LO's running about naked, ellen insists on "no naked, potty!" atm, and i have to wrestle her into a nappy most mornings lol.

i feel bright this morning so let me spread my cheer to u all

LackaDAISYcal · 02/04/2009 10:48

PMSL Natty

Ahhh, the 1978 world cup. I remember parading the streets singing "We're on the march with Ally's Army". The hopes of a nation were riding high . I have a friend who blames the pre competition hype and the ensuing crushing let down entirely on the failure of the referendum on devolution that followed that World Cup. Never has a nation so firmly believed that they were going to win. It was some kind of mass hysteria!!

I'm alright. Feeling much better, but as my burst of activity showed me yesterday, feeling better sat on my arse is a long way from feeling better and functioning normally!

I hope things are less hectic in the Norty household this morning.

good for you Ria

If I add up all the calories I have consumed in Sport's mix since DS was born I'm sure I'd have been at my target pre DS weight by now!!

Although I weighed myself this morning and have lost a stone since the beginning of Feb and am the lightest I've been since before being pregnant with DD . Hell of a way to diet though

I am fucking bored of being asked when I am due, and I say August, and they say 'oh that's a long way away, you're quite....'

What? Fat? Huge? What? Fuck off.

Ohforfoxsake · 02/04/2009 10:58

I sympathise Fury. People are fuck-wits and don't think before they speak. For example:

"are you expecting AGAIN?"

Really. If you don't know the answer to that question is "yes", you really shouldn't ask the question.

So you may tell them to fuck off. You can apologise later and blame the hormones.

HellHathNoFury · 02/04/2009 11:02

He then said, 'you are bigger than my wife, and she is due in July'.

Well bully for you. I should have said bump size is as a result of dick size, so I guess you lucked out huh.

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 11:13

pmsl fury i have the same problem.
im only 26 weeks, but ppl look suprised when i say july.
and the last three weeks ive been losing it at ppl and saying "thats cos i have to much amniotic fluid and the baby could be sick you nosy arse"

LittleMissNorty · 02/04/2009 11:28

Morning

Well I'm a big girl naturally and still had comments like that....oh you obviously haven't got long to go which is the last thing you want to hear when you've got ages to go and are having a shit pg!

Quieter morning here thankfully but busy night . Just hung out my third load of washing and put a fourth lot on....was very tempted to tumble everything but then I looked at my bank account....telephone DD gone up by £15, water bills up, council tax another £20, DHs sickness and unemployment insurance has gone up 20% {shock],electric and gas now over £120 a month, so I turned the lights off (he keeps moaning about this) and hung the bloody washing out.

Tallulah, your girls are lovely. What gorgeous photos.

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 11:33

lol fury @ dick size

LackaDAISYcal · 02/04/2009 11:42

pmsl at the dick size comments fury....go for it

I was asked how long I had to go with bumble......I was 14 weeks the time

DD took her nppy off then put her jeans back on (when and where who knows, I still haven't found the nappy) and then weed in them and has had to be forced into a pull up and has spent 30 minutes screaming about it. If I hear "no like it" once more I'll scream myself.

bloody hell norty....I thought my washing pile was never ending!

LackaDAISYcal · 02/04/2009 11:52

gosh tallulah, they're gorgeous....and getting big.....well done you!! Are they identical, or just very similar?

I love DD1's bed head

Riallytoofattoflounce · 02/04/2009 12:00

lol fury, I like that.

Not bright and cheery here. DH hasn't been paid again, there seem to be some difficulties with the new set up. So I am having to bail him out with the housekeeping money. Not impressed. And he is in an arse, tutting and sucking his breath in and generally stomping about. I wonder why it bothers me so much when he isn't here

I didn't know there was a song daisy! I don't actually remember the '78 WC, I think my uncle bought me the teddy (he was a lorry driver so could well have been in Scotland, hence the tartan and the name) I love world cup hype

LittleMissNorty · 02/04/2009 12:04

My DH has still got his Scotland WC football shirt from 1978......he was 7 (sad git!)

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 12:12

aw ria that sucks, we've had problems with wages b4, you wouldnt think it would be that hard to pay into someone bank account a sum of money would you?
have some happy dust..

i had one of my friends say "your just a baby making machine arnt you" today
no actually im a person, who has CHOSEN to have three kids close together so that i CAN go back to college b4 i hit 30.. why is that so hard to understand? some ppl make me

DH thinks ur twins are lovely T, he said it almost makes him wish we were having twins!

anyone know the cheapest place to get some blue dye? want to breathe some life into some old white babygrows of ellens i found lurking in the loft, want to tie dye them to disguse any small marks.

HellHathNoFury · 02/04/2009 13:28

A really good looking guy offered to buy me a kit kat chunky today.

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 13:40

HellHathNoFury · 02/04/2009 14:17

I want more than his Kit Kat.
He's rather yummy.

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 14:58

lol! or is it in fact his kitkat your really after.. lol

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 16:07

gosh i cant breathe all of a sudden. iron levels? its been quite bad last hour.

Sputnik · 02/04/2009 17:54

Hope you're ok Natty. A friend of mine developed asthma in pregnancy, could be that. I'd get it checked out if it goes on.

Well it had to happen, DS had his first really proper tantrum today. I guess I am lucky to have got this far! But if anyone has any ideas what you can do with a 15kg very strong toddler who doesn't want to walk and doesn't want to be carried either then please write them on the back of a postcard and you'll be entered into the prize draw

TheNatty · 02/04/2009 18:14

feeling better now thanks, took a few hours of laying down (barking at kids from sofa) before i could get up again.
as a result we had pasta and sauce for dinner as i cant stand up for long before feeling like im going to faint and cant catch my breath.
its very odd.

will see if its like this again tomorrow and pop to docs

Riallytoofattoflounce · 02/04/2009 18:21

that is worrying Natty. Get to the GP tomorrow if you can , I get like that at night sometimes, but not often during the day. My current problem is dizzyiness/"waffiness". But I'm not PG so irrelevant!

Please keep your fingers crossed that I get outbid on ebay - I've changed my mind

LackaDAISYcal · 02/04/2009 18:34

Natty, I saw on another thread you were looking for some wraps......

I am selling some Here if you are interested
