Well Fury.......? Just seen your FB status!!

Ria - sounds sore - can you cover it with a dressing in the meantime? I hope you haven't got what I've got - haven't eaten all day vos I can't swallow - it just hurts too much. If my typing is crap, its because I haven't got any glasses on!

Just rung DH to get a bedguard for DD but he hasn't taken his wallet to work - and I can't drive as I'm blind as a bat .....

HellHathNoFury · 20/04/2009 15:08

Oh yes it's a boy!
lol I forgot to say

LittleMissNorty · 20/04/2009 15:09

Yes, scan ok, everything is all good.

We are all happy... just now for a name!!

vaRIAtyisthespiceoflife · 20/04/2009 15:12

butterfly

congratulations fury, little boys are fab (I am biased though). I don't often get little girl envy, and it's so practical when you can use all DS1s stuff again

vaRIAtyisthespiceoflife · 20/04/2009 15:13

I have many unused names - I'll help

HellHathNoFury · 20/04/2009 15:23

I only get little girl envy when I am clothes shopping for DS as they always seem to have such lovely clothes for girls...
But actually I love having boys, plus they are less likely to point out how untrendy I am

vaRIAtyisthespiceoflife · 20/04/2009 15:29

sadly, not true fury. DS1 has recently become aware of how untrendy he and I are, and how odd DH is! TBH I think I only get it over the clothes too, if I lived with my niece she would drive me mad, I certainly don't envy Dsis the hormone clash.

boys are lovely fury....congratulations

so are girls obviously

Been to Sheffield today to meet up with some of my November PN lot. Went to a "wacky house" (well it was a really nice soft play centre, but DD calls every soft play centre wacky warehouse). We were there for over three hours and she didn't sit down the whole time, unless she was on the slide!!

Ria, if your BIL shouts at you, bloody well plant him one! Can't believe he would think that shouting is in any way acceptable.

skin tag sounds painful; I got loads of little ones after having DD, but have just picked them off! Can you tie some thread round it to cut off the blood supply and get rid of it?

sorry you're feeling poorly Norty, and that you're struggling a bit NAtty. Third pregnancies are meant to be the worst one!!

I was cutting bumble's fingernails tonight and took a lump out of the top of his finger . It bled for over ten minutes and we ended up having to out two plasters on it to stem the bleeding . I'm now paranoid that he is going to chew it off in the night and choke. I feel awful, although he didn't even cry when I did it, only afterwards when it obviously started stinging.

and bloody phil and teds ....I noticed this morning my toddler seat has burst seams as well....that's the main seat unit (twice), the hood, the sleeping bag and now the toddler seat that have all been faulty. The company I bought it from have been very good about organising new covers to be sent out from the manufacturer, but strangely when I asked for my money back today they have gone very quiet

Congratulations Fury

Natty, Norty and Ria, hope you all feel better soon. (Appreciate there is likely to be a bit of a time lag before you feel fully better Natty

I'm not worried about Jamlet's sucking-hand-after-putting-it-in-dirty-water antics btw, just DH. But he seems to have calmed down about it so I'm not going to bring it up again

Our post-easter-sale supply of Hotel Chocolat stuff arrived today I've allowed myself one rum & raisin mini egg thing and it was truly scrummy! But I must exercise some serious willpower as I want to keep the weight loss going in the right direction!

LackaDAISYcal · 20/04/2009 19:57

my teeth don't quite meet in the middle where I need to nibble so I find it really hard to nibble his nails butterfly....I always seem to make them more raggedy as well. His nails grow sooooo quickly though; he is always scratching himself.

jammy, baggins drank some manky sandpit water one day and he was fine.

Do you think my last post would out me?

Any ideas for a new thread?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/04/2009 20:11

Depends who reads your posts Ria

I forgot to say, I saw the perfect gift the other day (for some of you at least) for the next time we do Secret Santa presents!
