I'm back. It's taken me ages to catch up and now I'm trying to resist the penguin thread.

Anyway we had a great time and I'm feeling really rested. Only cloud really on the trip was that DS was an utter nightmare on the plane, screamed solidly on take-off and landing. When we arrived he continued screaming at full blast as we got off the plane and into passports. We were at the back of the queue but they rushed us to the front. Luckily I am actually beyond being embarassed by toddlers. I had been toying with the idea of a trip to the UK without DH in the summer but no way am I doing that on my own.

I like George, actually someone very near and dear to me is called that so I'd better like it.
Was me that sent the nappies Natty, I'll send you my email for PP.

Erm...
You'll look back on it someday and laugh.
Probably.

LackaDAISYcal · 16/04/2009 16:34

helloo

had to swap to pages to be ale to load threads quickly.....bleargh hate that. Not sure what has happened to my pooter....fecking automatic updates.

hey sputnik, glad you had a nice trip but sorry about DS not playing the game.

bloody DD. I just caught her with some kitchen cleaner. It's on her t shirt so she hasbeen trying to spray it. She said she didn't drink it . I just bought the stuff and she took it out of the carrier bag that was on the worktop. to be fair to her though, there is no warning about being harmful if swallowed like the vanish ...which is good as I can't take her to casualty again or SS will be after me like a shot. why do they have a deathwish at this age?

Just got back from a walk, and she insisted on walking the whole way....with a deep muddy bit on one side (with warning signs about danger deep mud and rescue rings) and a three metre drop into a rocky stream on the other side.......and a four foot wide wobbly footpath covered in tree roots to walk on! DS1 was cycling, first trip out without stabilisers!! I am now a nervous wreck.

blardy phil and teds. Got sent a new seat unit and it has ripped too and the velcro across the hood has come off as well. I emailed saying I was really disillusioned with the P&T brand as my sleeping bag has broken at the zip as well. So they emailed the distributor who are sending another seat unit, a hood unit, and a new sleeping bag......and I didn't even buy the sleeping bag from that shop in the first place! That was from kiddicare, who are already replacing the bag for me!! compensation of sorts I suppose for their shoddy workmanship. I'm getting less enamoured with it as time wears on; the frame is sctratched to buggery as the front fork sits on the ground when it's folded and gets scraped.

gawd...just realised that is a moan fest....sorry

hey daisy my nerves would too be in shreds after that.

just been to visit DM&F as DH still absent and felt too crap to be in. Am because baggins shoes have completely perished and I only noticed this at DMs.

But now am being bugged by a cobweb on the bit of ceiling I thought I might pretend I'd cleaned...

Sputnik · 16/04/2009 17:22

I'd give up on buying cleaning products if I were you Daisy

dear me daisy! you know tom did that to me, 3 accidents (two swallowed cleaning stuff, one lego up nose) in the space of a month.
ellen was about 3 months old as well, the health visitor thought it was funny, she told me not to worry and they only tend to investigate if the health visitor has concerns.

she is funny tho daisy, heart stopping as it must be!

ellen is in bed, i got so sick of her whinging and moaning i just put her to bed. i had to lie with her tho for 10 mins

she has got really clingy recently, anyone elses lo's like this atm? or do you think its just a reaction to the pregnancy?

Sputnik · 16/04/2009 18:28

Ok, this is really a long shot, but can any of you help me on this thread?

sputnik have just put a link on your other thread - there's a demo video on their website, looks like you press the top of the handle and it pops open by magic

I love lakeland, I nearly worked in their call centre, but the hours weren't flexible so I worked for Hawkshead instead
