ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 12:33

ThePFJ · 23/04/2009 12:41

Hey Ellie... am of your night in a hotel... enjoy won't you?

ThePFJ · 23/04/2009 12:57

xxx

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 14:19

I have had a pushchair buying accident and now own a Bee It's gorgeous!!

Think i may need a double too....don't think DH will let me have 3 buggies LOL

Soph73 · 23/04/2009 14:29

Fab news Scorpio, LOL at pushchair buying accident ... you can't fool me, I saw you on another thread getting yourself all revved up for this "accident" of yours

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 14:30

I never did such a thing Soph

Soph73 · 23/04/2009 14:42

Now you're just trying to use your pregnancy brain "I've conveniently forgotten" ruse

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 14:48

It's so nice, and red

Getting tired again now. GP was excellent as always this morning, said i was pg after mc in Feb; straight away got out referral form and booked me in. He is old family friend and DH does work for him, so i guess its who you know.... Feeling more positive today.

DH's ex (Z mum) is pregnant too, about 9 weeks, so i find out today. She has known her bf for 4 months lol and he doesnt even work. What a shock for her; 2 children [i am not evil honest]and we cant have him when she has her baby cos i will be very heavy pg too.

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 14:49

Oh and i said to GP this is last baby for us; he said 'why dont i believe you' LOL

Soph73 · 23/04/2009 14:54

Ooooo lovely, I have a red pushchair, I wanted bright orange but DH wouldn't let me

LOL at your GP, funnily enough I don't believe you either

And I think you're perfectly entitled to feel the way you do about your DH's ex

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 14:55

well Soph the amount of shit i have been through because of her, that is mild

KnitterInTheNW · 23/04/2009 15:20

Well. We're the proud owners of 2 nights in the travelodge at Tower Bridge in October. It'll be fun with the 3 of us in one room, plus it's just a double room not a family one. BUT I'll hopefully get to see some friends I've not seen for ages and ages, one of them was one of our witnesses when we got married. He's never met George so really really hoping he's not away while we're there! Not quite sure how it's going to work with eating and G's bedtime and stuff, but it'll be fine I'm sure. All routines will just have to go out of the window for a couple of days that's all!

Brilliant that you're getting your scan, Scorpio. And at your pushchair accident! Our Buzz is bright red too. I just bought a bright blue stroller too for when we go on holiday (and for easier getting to london on the train on my own to meet you lot too!) so no one will ever miss us coming.

Soph73 · 23/04/2009 15:24

At least you're safe in the knowledge that you're a much much nicer person than she is.

Soph73 · 23/04/2009 15:29

Knitter - good for you Don't worry too much about G's routines. I used to get really wound up about things like that with DS1 until it dawned on me that as long as he was getting fed at regular intervals, could nap somewhere (sofa, pushchair, etc) and had some toys to play with, he didn't give two hoots where he was. Poor Sam gets carted everywhere but is even more relaxed about it than DS1, probably because I don't get myself all wound up any more

Nearly home time. See you all tomorrow.
xxxxxxxx

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 15:30

Much nicer silly cow. it will fall down round her ears. I forgot to write that he has got another girl pg, just before he met her. So his ex is 15 ish weeks and she is 9, PMSL

just took my bee on the school run, am very proud lol.

Knitter it will be ok three of you in the one room, maybe G's nap can go later so he will stay up bit later or something. It will be fine

TheShipsCat · 23/04/2009 15:38

Knitter - you can always take a book and a bottle into the bathroom for your evening's entertainment, which is what my sister always does on holidays with her dcs!
Can you try to get a room with a balcony? - that's what we've done before...
or, hotel baby sitting service

LadyBee · 23/04/2009 15:49

or..the other option which most of my friends who have holidayed in hotels with DC did have put baby cot up in bathroom (if it's big enough), as most people can pee in the dark and it means you can switch lights/tv on in evenings if you want. This might not work with tiny London hotel rooms though

TheShipsCat · 23/04/2009 15:52

That's what we did in Colombia - until I went in next day to find cockroaches everywhere . We moved A straight out!

EllieG · 23/04/2009 16:23

TSC - come to see me! I read a book about a man who crossed the channel on a narrowboat and he was fine.

Right ladies of London and those who are visiting, I am going to book my flights for 21st Aug today! Hurray! I 'asked' DH if was OK I went and he said, No, you are not allowed to, and I said, tough, I wasn't really asking.

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 16:27
EllieG · 23/04/2009 16:34

Oh I DO! Is just I got momentarily carried away with other issues. But when you have a scan I will be all ears. I promise.

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 16:35

was only teasing. Must go and cook for the children, or something. DH & I are having an Xbox match this evening and a grown up dinner.

TheShipsCat · 23/04/2009 16:35

I care Scorpio! Don't go to Dec '09. Very pleased you got your scan from the GP

Ellie, I wouldn't do it in a narrowboat . But ours would be OK. If the weather was good.

I am going to pencil in August as I've got lots of London trips I need to do.

ScorpiowithabigS · 23/04/2009 16:37

What date is August please? They fly Newquay - London City twice a day now, so can leave early and return that very night . Do we have to bring our babies?

EllieG · 23/04/2009 16:39

Bringing babies is not essential - I ain't bringing mine and was more planning on cocktails than tea in the park! Obviously you won't be boozing but would be fab to see you! Am going weekend of 21st Aug, back home lunchtime on 23rd.
