lol natty.....I can just picture the poor germs fleeing for their lives!! Don't forget door handles, especially bathroom/toilet ones!

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 28/02/2009 16:47

yeah ive done the door frames, skirtings boards, handles, light switches. all the things i never think to do unless they LOOK grubby, but could easliy be spreading the germs about the house.

they ourt to be scared daisy.. i am pissed of with it!!

This is Me!!

except add on five stone in weight!!

FrazzledFairyFay · 28/02/2009 17:33

Link doesn't work Daisy, I'm sure you look fab though.

Natty, that sounds suspiciously like nestng to me

Jammy, when is Dh back?

at all your talking lo's. DS still hardly says anything intelligible and certainly no words strung together. DD was talking in sentences at this age so I'm finding it a bit . It is so frustrating for both of us that he can't say what he wants to tell me

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 28/02/2009 17:41

nesting moi?
no!!
im not having a baby remember far to much worry and hassle

daisy that link wont work for me

im so hungry, forgot to put dinner on so wont be ready till half 6.. woops!

off for a cuppa and a biccy i thinks.

DH is back on Monday. He's out todat buying presents for me & jamlet apparently

Jamlet doesn't say anything either, but mostly lets me know what she wants somehow. I was stumped yesterday though when she was playing with a nappy and liner. She kept putting the liner in the nappy and giving it to me. But she didn't want to wear it, she didn't want to put it on her teddy. I didn't know what she wanted me to do with it

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 28/02/2009 17:59

jamlet is sitting on her potty!

keepingitRia · 28/02/2009 18:32

baggins doesn't say much, still only the odd word. DH says we need to teach him "broke doggy" so he can tell the GPs what happened and he is so cute he'll be forgiven. He has just learnt "no" though.

while I have been out DH and DS2 have made tomato and mozarella bread. it smells yum.

keepingitRia · 28/02/2009 18:35

I want a new look. Not so much hairstyle as I'd like it to be longer, but I would love new clothes and stuff. Will really have to try harder to shift some weight.

foxy, there were some nice floral dresses in TK maxx for £20.

think I might have a glass of wine.

LackaDAISYcal · 28/02/2009 18:48

not sure why the link isn't working; it is for me. It's just a photo of Jennifer Love Hewitt with Garfield from the movie.

We get days like that with DD jammy. she ends up getting really frustrated as I'm obviously just not getting it and she just doesn't have the words to say how she feesl/what she wants.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 28/02/2009 18:51

thomas had no speech until over 2, not even mummy clearly, then suddenly (about 2 weeks b4 his speech appointment typical!) he exploded into who sentances!
kids are funny, but i totally get how hard it is when they dont talk!
ellen still signs a great deal of her words, esp if i teach her ones for the words that sound like alot of others!
but then she can say a whole sentance clearly ("no more mummy") yet she cant say thomas.. lmao!

She didn't seem too bothered about the nappy thing. It was me that was getting frustrated at not understanding. I was close to crying and laughing all at the same time.

She was really cute after that - when she finally got bored of playing with the nappy she wandered through to our room and started looking under the duvet on DH's side of the bed. When I told her no, daddy wasn't here, she looked really We can't wait to have him back!

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 28/02/2009 20:11

aww jammy! thats so adorable. bless her.
she probally didnt want anything with the nappy tho, i bet she just wanted to see how many times silly mummy would pass it back and forward

That sucks Butterfly But sorry, I've gotta go. My legs are killing me after plenty of walking today and a long hard pilates session just now. I really have to go soak in a hot bath. Will be back later though...

keepingitRia · 28/02/2009 20:45

butterfly

how is DS2, is he poorly with it, or does he have lots of spots? or both?

It was a WONDERFUL bath. About as hot as I can stand without feeling faint when I get out, with some black pepper and lavender oil. I had a nice soak while I did some puzzles and finished with the first application of my new Sanctuary salt body scrub. Skin feels so soft now

keepingitRia · 28/02/2009 21:45

our local boyes store has sanctuary soap scrub bars for 99p (the green ones), so I feel nice and soft too. my bath not as hot as I like because someone has been playing with the heating.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 01/03/2009 08:41

Oh yes Natty, Jamlet woke at 5.50 this morning, though wasn't insistent enough to get me out of bed until 6.20. She took herself upstairs at 8, so I put her back to bed for a wee nap, but sounds like she's just waking up again. We're off to the "family splash" session at the pool this morning. haven't been since Sept so hope she's OK with it. But I've just put some veg on to prepare the 1st half of dinner (veggie sheppie pie, and I'm cooking the veg for the mash part now) so we can't go until that's done. Mind by the time we're both dressed and ready to go I bet the veg will be done
