Peanut Butter KitKats are soon to be a thing of the past

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/03/2009 21:15

That's terrible news Foxy! As long as they keep doing Reese's Nutrageous however, all is not lost.

TheNatty · 25/03/2009 22:01

oh jammy with you there.. and the peices, i mean peanut butter smarties.. what could be better

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2009 06:52

My thighs ache, my abs ache

LackaDAISYcal · 26/03/2009 09:01

no pain no gain jammy

I used to have a recipe for peanut butter balls.....lovely gooey peanut butter with rice crispies and all covered in chocolate. My mum's friend brought the recipe back from America....might see if I can recreate it. They were goreous.

I am all aaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh this morning. bumble was awake every hour on the bloody hour last night, DD was up twice (and now she is in her bed she just comes through as she can open her bedroom door!), DS1 broke the stairgate this morning (he got a hell of a fright, but at least it did it's job and stopped him falling downstairs), and is obviously traumatised as he has been a wee shite since 6.30, everyone ahs spent the morngin shouting and whinging and tantrumming and crying, I have to go out today and get a new gate and I really don't need it as MIL is coming over today and I need to at least tidy up a wee bit.

as i said.....aaaaararararararhghghgghhgarararra

LittleMissNorty · 26/03/2009 09:17

Morning

Oh blimey Daisy....sounds crazy at your house this morning....can MIL sit with the kids while you go to Argos or whereever to get your gate?

Both mine are asleep ....think we're finally turning a corner with DS (fingers crossed, touch wood)....I fed him at 10.30 last night and put him down and he woke at 4am , then went 4.15 till 7am. He was whinging slightly in his cot and DD kept saying "crying, crying"....I know but he will settle himeself....so she tool it upon herself to march into his bedroom and poke him through the bars of the cot saying "ahhhhhh"....

Got osteopath appointment today so get a whole hour away from the DCs on my own.....and we'll be out all day. By the time I sort everything out, pack changing bag, toy bag for DD, pack car, get over to my mum's, sort kids out, get to osteopath, back to mum,s late lunch and a cuppa and back home, it'll be time for DDs dinner...

Got a bloody headache this morning, think I've slept with my teeth gritted...

Jammy, you are doing so well.....can I have a bit of your willpower please?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 26/03/2009 11:26

I ought to be cleaning the bathroom, but I need 5 (at least!) mins to rest first. I had dental appointment at 9.10 this morning. Jamlet however fought against putting her vest, jumper, socks, wellies and coat on and then threw a total tantrum at getting into the pushchair. Screaming, arching the back, kicking, you can imagine. I was so close to screaming back at her, but in the end I took her out, put her on the rolled out futon in the downstairs spare room and let her get on with it. Five mins later she was calm enough to cuddle and then put in the pushchair, but by now we are seriously late for my appointment, so I had to go as fast as I could to get there on time. Then we had "fun" in the shops, and all in all it's been an exhausting morning.

My rest time is up, she's just waking up - will be hungry no doubt and thus grumpy

HellHathNoFury · 26/03/2009 12:48

foxy - how do you know about peanut kit kats being stopped? I can find nowt

Ohforfoxsake · 26/03/2009 13:49

The bloke I was sat next to on Saturday works for Nestle. We were talking kit-kats before moving onto the brides former boyfriends. As one does.

Ohforfoxsake · 26/03/2009 13:49

Fury, do you not have any work to do? Are you googling the demise of the peanut kitkat?

FrazzledFairyFay · 26/03/2009 13:50

Hi everyone.

at no more peanut butter kitkats

Ohforfoxsake · 26/03/2009 13:51

I've only had one I think. But it has stayed with me all this time. It was truely delicious. To calorific to eat. Star Bars are wonderful too.

Ohforfoxsake · 26/03/2009 13:52

And Double Deckers are special.

doggus · 26/03/2009 13:54

Hello everybody - sorry I haven't been around for a bit. I have some bad news - I had a miscarriage last night at home just before my 12 week scan.

I am feeling pretty fragile as you can imagine but I promise I will come back and say hello when I feel better.

Hoping everything is going well for you all and see you soon xx

FrazzledFairyFay · 26/03/2009 13:56

Oh Doggus, that is so sad, you must be feeling heartbroken. Take care of yourself, and see you soon.

TALLULAHBELLE · 26/03/2009 17:07

Norty I called my GP surgery & spoke to doc about the reflux issue. Requested gaviscon & she said no prob. We got the sachets yesterday. I had to mix with water & give on a spoon. It's foul & she spat it all out. At bedtime she had it mixed with a f/f & wasn't sick at all & went off to sleep a bit better than usual. Didn't bother through the night & she puked all over me this morning. Gave her it again after feeds today (syringed it in) & she has only posseted a very little bit & been much more content. CHANGE YOUR GP missus. My last one was terrible & I suffered all through first pg & b/f due to unhelpfulness. I am always amazed at how lovely & accomodating this practice is. Unfortunately have moved so it's hard to get to but am loathe to change now.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2009 17:18

I'll be back later to catch up, but I just wanted to say I'm really sorry doggus and you are in my thoughts xxx
