HellHathNoFury · 23/03/2009 21:34

Updated FB with holiday snaps for those that are interested.

HellHathNoFury · 23/03/2009 21:51

no there isn't an ounce of baby left in him!

He's a little cracker. Not always in a good way but hey ho

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 10:18

OFFS.

I have just had to shut DD in the hallway as she is having a tantrum and in real danger of hurting herself (or me or Fin). she is currently throwing herself at the door and screaming at the top of her lungs

the reason......I put a pull up nappy on her

save me from tantrumming children hell please

TALLULAHBELLE · 24/03/2009 11:06

Ah - another day, another tantrum .

TheNatty · 24/03/2009 11:13

oh daisy i know.. tom just went into one insisting that my cup of tea was dirty and that i should make another one

and ellen has been taking her nappies off all day and throwing a fit when they go straight back on her.

oh and baby no.3 is kicking the hell out of me for daring to have a cuppa that wasnt decaf...

so all in all daisy I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 11:25

lol tallulah

she's calmed down now and stopped belating on about "nappy, no like it". The thing is, it's not that she doesn't want a nappy on, she wants a nappy nappy on rather than pull ups. I bought her some big girl pants last week and she screams if they come anywhere near her. I don't think she's quite ready yet to be a big girl, although she has slept in her toddler bed for the last couple of nights. It was quite sweet this morning; she came wandering in to my bedroom at 7 saying "morning mummy"

she is currently trying to put a teeny tiny newborn real nappy on one of her dollies.

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 11:26

belating??? bleating, obv.

Sputnik · 24/03/2009 13:46

Are you attempting to potty train Daisy? Have you completely taken leave of your senses?

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 14:21

you have M&S in Rome????

Not really trying, more planting the seeds of the idea in her head. But, she has lost her cot, she has her big girl's bed, she is moving out of the highchair to a booster chair, we tell her she isn't a baby anymore.....I think she is trying to hang on to her last vestige of babyhood for as long as possible.

Sputnik · 24/03/2009 17:55

No I was shopping online, as I'll be in the UK for easter so got stuff sent to my parents.

They are growing up, aren't they.

TheNatty · 24/03/2009 18:07

ok the naughty step has been well and truely reinstated in this house, thomas has been on it it no less then 6 times in 2 hours.
i think having a staircase that is not in the living room has really worked, cos he is bored out there. also giving him three mins instead of two, even tho he isnt 3 till next month

ellen has been on it twice today.

how was everyone elses day?

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 18:22

naughty step about as effective as a chocolate fecking poker in this house....although I find sitting there myself for five minutes whilst the children all go into super meltdown around me helps me no end

Sputnik · 24/03/2009 18:29

No naughty step here. I may just be lucky but I keep my lot in line by looking at them, significantly
(and strategic shouting)

TheNatty · 24/03/2009 18:51

sputnik wanna come look at my children

and daisy i was seriously contemplating hiding under the duvet today.. just for 5 mins, to regain my composure!

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 19:29

M&S don't appear to have anything for toddlers in the sale

LittleMissNorty · 24/03/2009 19:37

I couldn't find anything for DD either in the sale, but did get this for DS

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:35

PMSL....well we wanted to be thinner

I saw that Norty and was tempted for bumble, but would have preferred the romper suit but that was only in England colours.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/03/2009 20:38

Is the display of this screwed up for everyone else or is it just me?

No M&S bargains for jamlet, but a skirt, some trousers and a fluffy new towel for me

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:49

It seems to be all postnatal and lone parent threads.

bumper started a thread about it in site stuff so we've been chatting over there instead of on here

Ohforfoxsake · 24/03/2009 20:53

why can't I see the posts?

Can only see add a message, nowt else.

oh, its all over on the right.

yes jammy, its screwed up.

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 21:09

there is a lot of traffic on site stuff about this issue and I emailed the techs to give them the heads up!!

Ohforfoxsake · 24/03/2009 21:11

There's a lot of nutters talking shite on here, that much I'm sure of.

FrazzledFairyFay · 24/03/2009 22:12

gah, can't cope with this. It's messing with my head

Ohforfoxsake · 24/03/2009 22:31
