well only left a few minutes early, just enough to get some milk and drop off a cheque at the bank (birthday cheque from beginning of feb!).
really exhausted with T tonight, had no enthusiasm for his games and he was hyper after a day in the pre-school room at nursery - a first full day there i think.
H was knackered as usual as he still doesn't sleep properly there so he was whingy & clingy until i put him to bed early.
sorry, moaning...
being good and not having a glass of wine, then i won't have one because of orchestra tomorrow, so that'll be 3 days in a row - got to help my diet
oh and we've had a local drama here that's been occupying me. a young lad (17) was showing off his new car in front of a group of other teenagers (not his friends) who had all been out for a birthday meal. they were just on their way home, dawdling, not misbehaving. he was apparently doing handbrake turns (in a small residential street just round the corner from me) when he lost control of the car.
he ploughed into the crowd and put 14 of them in hospital
8 of them are still there - it happened friday night.
3 in critical condition. it's expected that one lad (also 17) may die, if he lives he'll probably have serious brain damage.
others have several broken bones, facial injuries, etc. the 3 serious ones have been transferred to specialist hospitals.
the lad ran off apparently but has been arrested.
the police were round here yesterday knocking on doors for witnesses - we had gone to bed early so didn't see/hear anything.
'luckily' there were 3 doctors on the scene straight away who all live on that road.
keep going over it all in my head.
sorry a really down post, i will be more upbeat tomorrow i promise!
