Prob a similair size then Simpson ?
Think Nathan is smaller though ?
Is Sabela quite small as well ?

Gingeme all inclusive is great plenty of ice creams I agree on the portable dvd players they are a god send. Plus lots of colouring , those small etch a sketch things with the attached pen that wipes clean are good. They have mini ones in my local asda for couple pound.

MM for your colleague poor man!

M loves broccoli too, actually all mine love veg and always eat it first! So maybe it may carry on Simps.

Countess no side effects as yet , not even a temp! She just had a terrible nappy though that left her bum very sore. She had it this morning btw!

JKS have lovely evening with dh

Nathan is smaller. He was 15.5 when last weighed straight after that bug. I think he must have gone up to about 17lb, but now has not eaten much for a few days again. I am just better off not weighing the chap!

Lilyloo · 04/03/2009 20:34

Bless him , hope you didn't take that post the wrong way i am not at all bothered about M being a 'littlie' but forget some others might be! Sorry if you are.
I have been small all my life but quite feisty so i know M will be fine as will N and M etc

Is that really annoying kids dancing and singing ad on this thread ?
I keep pressing play every time i scroll by mistake and its driving me mad!!!!!

madmouse · 04/03/2009 20:50

Lily dh reached the grand height of 5'6 after a huge growth spurt age 13. My dad used to ask the health visitor 'Is my daughter healthy?' 'Err yes but she does not weigh enough' 'Is she healthy?' 'Yes' 'Then stop harrassing my wife or else...' (mum used to come home crying from clinic, and I was bottle fed!).
So you get the picture lol. He was never meant to be big. Hos consultant said 'He is doing his own thing. He's just tiny'.

Gingeme · 04/03/2009 20:52

Thanks for the tips ladies. I'm already looking for summer clothes on Ebay
We have a portable dvd player. Will deffo buy some drawing stuff too.
Yes Lilly those annoying little darlings are on this thread too

LaTrucha · 04/03/2009 20:56

Sorry I haven't been on today. Nothing wrong just busy.

See you later!

Oh! and Madmouse I would do the forms too. It's good to have these things in place in good time just in case, and I emphasise that, he needs more help when he goes to school. I have limited knowledge of primary school but I know it's a real fight once they reach secondary if parents try and start things up then.

First day of course good, but I forgot my hearing aid so I couldn't do one of the exercises. Ugh!

Tired tired now.

JustKeepSwimming · 04/03/2009 21:00

haven't weighed Henry for ages, sometime around his birthday i think, and iirc he was about 21lbs. forgotten & cat (& laptop) on lap so can't go to check!

anyway i always say the whole graph is there for a reason, someone has to be top and someone has to be bottom - and those are not positives or negatives in any way, just facts.

Gingeme - all v exciting thinking about holidays!!! we went on an all-inclusive when i was pg with H, not my fave kind of place but endless ice-cream is def a bonus

down to 9,3 today on the Wii, yey that 8-something is in sight......

simpson · 04/03/2009 22:18

Sooo excited have just spent a small fortune on buying Molly some foods from dietary needs direct.

She gets to try chocolate and rice pudding

Also got pesto sauce and savoury pancakes.

She had better like it all now!!

JustKeepSwimming · 05/03/2009 08:19

That's fab Simps hope she likes it all!
Will be a great find if she does, hope they aren't too expensive & the p&p is ok too.

Not too bad a night (then i did give them both calpol night!), T up at 5.40, H up early for him at 6.30.
DH got up with them again, must do it tomorrow as it's not fair on him really.
I think i only woke once, tossed & turned a bit then managed to go back to sleep.

May give them calpol again tonight, then leave it tomorrow and see what happens. think it just helps them sleep through the coughing.

Off to playgroup later, must get myself dressed first

LaTrucha · 05/03/2009 09:11

Morning all.

Sabela awake at 4am today! She was grinding here molars, so I thikn we have molar no.4 on the way. Oh the joy....

Spanish course is good - at least I like the teacher and I don't know everything so opportunites to learn! After having taught for so long, I'm a bit fussy about who I am taught by! Or rather, how I am taught.

I have read through but my brain is fried. Sorry! Off to class again....

madmouse · 05/03/2009 09:17

Enjoy class LaT

JKS early start again yawn, don't feel guilty about dh getting up you do enough.

Poor Nathan has such a bad cough got up with him at 3.30am for more cough mixture and when i wiped his nose he clearly thought i was offering him a drink so off downstairs for a tippee cup and he downed loads of water.

still very snotty, and still little appetite. And I have a cold. Nooooo, I need my voice tomorrow eeeek.

madmouse · 05/03/2009 11:05

Having fun with Nathan this morning, lovely to have some quiet time at home.

He has been busy posting all of a sudden, starting in the bath last night posting a toy behind the hand rail, continuing this morning posting soft toys through the bars of the bead frame.

He is currently pulling his Vtech walker through the living room 'strongest man style' by the string of the telephone so funny

By the way the DLA form has been sent off, the waiting game begins...it was thoroughly depressing spending two hours focussing on what Nathan cannot do, thanks Simpson for cheering me up last night, Nathan is doing the rest this morning

Gingeme · 05/03/2009 12:00

Hope Molly enjoys her new tastes A girl can't live without chocolate you know.
LaTrucha I love Spanish. It sounds very musical. But then I also love French. Shame I didn;t make more of it whe I was at school.
Madmouse.
George slept through last night 7-7 . Walking round not sure if I feel tired or not What a shock to the system.
Ds3 went to school dresed as Superman today for World Book Day. Hes doing a sponsored spellathon too. Realy simple words like spot and cat and if and on. He knows them all
Right off to get ds4 from Playgroup.
See you later ladies. xxx

barristermum · 05/03/2009 12:13

Hi girls,

Just had the first part of the morning with Cerys too, as don't have to go to court till this afternoon.

Thanks for advice on balance bikes, might leave that for a Christmas present and think about something more "age-appropriate" for easter. It's the trouble with Christmas and birthday being so close isn't it that you don't spread out the presents along with the development.

Interested about the MMR reactions - Cerys's is due next Friday. She was outraged by 3 separate jabs at the last set so very long ago. Heard some get poorly after but am optimistic as she is so robust.

Was up til 1.30 am the other night working and then Cerys woke up for a shriek at 6am before going straight back to sleep (which of course I then could't as was getting up only half an hour later). Gieven JKS's hours feel total lightweight!
Sxx

barristermum · 05/03/2009 12:17

Oooh, meant to ask. Anyone got a good tip for a child's bank account? Need to get one for Cerys as still have cheques given to her for her birthday in her name and need to get her an account so I can trasfer them into her trust fund.

Gingeme · 05/03/2009 13:56

Barristermum you should be able to pay them straight into her trust fund. Just visit the bank you have it in and ask? Sorry I am assuming you have it with a bank. Ours are with Abbey and Halifax and we have a standing order putting some child benefit into them each month too. When they get to 18 and want their first moped they can buy it themselves

barristermum · 05/03/2009 14:31

I will try that Gingeme but got the impression on first bit of paperwork from them that no... It's Children's Mutual but that is a subsidiary of Lloyds.

barristermum · 05/03/2009 14:40

Result Gingeme - rang and checked with them and they will take them direct. Doh! Why do I make things more complicated than they need to be?!

Lilyloo · 05/03/2009 19:46

Evening all
Busy day here mostly boring stuff , however took dd1 to the wool shop for some wool so my nan can knit her some leg warmers for ballet. She chos pink and silver (surprise not)
She then insisted on going straight to her house with it so had the afternoon there.

Had terrible night with M she woke up at 10.30 and eventually went back to sleep at 1.30 ish i think the last time i looked.
Think i may have let her have too much sleep yesterday and with her jabs just went haywire.
Cue me and dp shouting at each other i tried to come downstairs at 12.30 but could still hear her crying.
So with us having lots to do today she has had prob two naps in the car of 20 min ish.
Fingers crossed she sleeps tonight !

LaTrucha · 05/03/2009 19:50

I hope so. We wer up at 4 this morning. Just checking in to say hi.

Sabela is looking more and more like a little girl every day. Are your LOs bolting ahead too?

She wanted me to let her touch the moon yesterday too. She kept looking at it, pointing and cooing, then looking at me as if to say, 'You can do it mummy! It's really cool!'

JKS - I will answer your question in a few days . AF due today and not here yet!

JustKeepSwimming · 05/03/2009 21:06

LaT - do you mean my Mooncup Q? can't remember if i asked you anything else!

Lily - argh that sounds like a bad night, good luck for tonight.

barristermum - well done on sorting the money. only thing i could've added was that DH sorts it all i know that makes me sound crap but i'm not good with financial stuff and he is.

Really want a balance bike for ds1 for his birthday (3 in May) but not sure who i can persuade to pay for it.....

um, can't remember what else i was going to say.
knackered after playgroup + supermarket shopping + friends round for afternoon & tea.
got boys bathed and to bed then DH came home at 7.30 and made me dinner.

my turn in the morning with ds1 so best get off to bed soon.

good sleep vibes all

Gingeme · 05/03/2009 21:34

Glad you sorted that Barristermum
Yes George looks more like a little boy rather than a baby now he was realy happy to see my Mum today. Gave her a great big smile and waddled off giving her a backward glance as if to say 'look what I learnt to do?'.
Hope all babys sleep well tonight
xxxx

LuckySalem · 05/03/2009 22:49

Well I'm still annoyed with my bank but I'm sorry that that was my only post yesterday. Am sorting things out now - kinda. haha

Today we went to Language and Play group in the morning, then I had to go sign on, then PO to post A's passport but I'd left it at home (grrr) so had to go home where we had dinner then back to PO where they told me I have to fill in the passport numbers for me and DP so have to find my passport. Back home and asleep (all of us) by 3:30pm and didn't get back up till A woke us at 6:30pm Needless to say that she didn't go to bed till 9pm. lol.

Lovely day though.

Aaliyah's personality has awakened overnight. She's walking EVERYWHERE but hasn't learnt how to get to standing yet so gets annoyed if she falls over in the middle of the room as she has to crawl to somewhere to pull herself up. The annoyance is X1000 if she was carrying something at the time as it means she has to crawl, pull herself up and then go back to get what she was carrying.

She used to crawl around after me with this little weak Mum mum mum thing. Or if she wanted something she'd go with the weak mum and a point. Well today she's been YELLING at both of us demanding we see what's wrong right there and then. Been really funny.

Anyways. I hope your all ok. xxxx

JustKeepSwimming · 06/03/2009 07:22

Up at 5.20 with ds1
