HollyPutTheKettleOn · 31/01/2009 20:46

Thanks guys. I really want a Baby and All Bag too. I think it's a great idea, ds would love it. Maybe after the website has been up and running a while I'll try and wangle a couple to test !!

Norty, how're the BHs?

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 31/01/2009 21:13

Love that bag too Holly!

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 31/01/2009 21:36

Just got my swimsuit out to try on as it's been ages since I wore it. And while it did fit, the material was so thin at the back that I'm scared to wear it incase it splits. You could almost see through it in patches So no swimming tomorrow as planned Good job I've got another cossie coming in a few days. Just hope that one fits.

LittleMissNorty · 31/01/2009 21:45

Did you get that one Jammy you linked to? That was very nice.

BH still every 10 minutes and radiate right through bump and into my bum IYKWIM.....but they told me they weren't contractions. Oh well, only another 24-36 hours of it ....If I was going naturally, I could be going another 3 weeks

DD really testing my patience as well atm....talk about a stubborn little mare....sending me nuts.....terrible two's I suppose ...great timing eh?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 31/01/2009 21:50

Oh dear norty, hopefully she's getting the bad behaviour out of the way now and will be a little angel when the new baby comes!

I liked that cossie too jammy, I love a bit of polka dot trim! Hope it fits.

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 31/01/2009 21:51

Don't want to worry you Norty, but they can get it wrong. Thinking of you and hope that whether it's tonight, tomorrow, or Monday all goes well.

Yes, I ordered that cossie I linked too. Nervous about buying it wihtout trying on first, but couldn't face a 45 minute bus journey each way with jamlet to go to the shop and try it on. Will risk the hassle of return in exchange for the convenience of trying on at home.

LittleMissNorty · 31/01/2009 22:08

I will go back if it gets any worse!

DD just testing the bounderies I think, but OMG she does test them . She's like a rat up a drainpipe when she spots something within reach she isn't allowed!

right, off to bed to (try and) sleep. night all x

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 31/01/2009 23:04

just popping in quickly tho im sure you are all in bed now.
thomas being worryingly bad this last week, seems like there is no one in atm, just anger and frustration.
no idea whats wrong neither.
so ive not been about much been going to be with migranes every night, all stress induced, it just upsets me so much to see him like this, he just seems so unstable and out of control.

norty you are to hang in there you hear us? and put your feet up! goodluck for monday if i dont get back on here b4 then, hope you BH are just that and ease off for you soon

daisy hope you are having fun hurry back soon!!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 31/01/2009 23:09

Thanks natty, hope you're ok. I don't know what to say about the ds situation, except I hope it gets better soon. Make sure you look after yourself as well.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 31/01/2009 23:25

will do my best. you know what its like, you get so wrapped up it the kids you forget to do things like wash/eat/sleep

LittleMissNorty · 01/02/2009 13:42

Hello everyone

Well, house is clean, food delivered and put away. Showered and shaved...Snowing like mad so DH is getting my mum as we speak. I've had a huge show and think my waters are leaking so probably back to hospital later on.

Good to see you Natty.....was wondering where you had been....hope Tom is OK....

I'm bricking it now

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/02/2009 16:33

Good Luck Norty

Bumperslucious · 01/02/2009 16:47

Good lucky norty, you'll be fine! Thinking of you

I'm barricaded in my room watching sex and the city (literally! DH and I have taken to sticking a chair under the handle so DD can't get in when we are having a 'time out'). We are both so knackered from this week.

I've got a beef joint on for dinner then later on I'm baking a cake for my colleague who let me have his Christmas meal. I wish it would snow so I don't have to go into work tomorrow though...

FrazzledFairyFay · 01/02/2009 18:30

love your new name Bumper

Ohforfoxsake · 01/02/2009 19:09

Good luck Norty

This time tomorrow you'll have a teeny-weeny newborn baby

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 01/02/2009 19:31

oooh goodluck norty! so exciting i am very
not that im wishing away my pregnancy at all
i said to DH i am quite happy to go thru labour, just wish i could make pregnancy 9 weeks rather than months!!

ellen was cute this morning. when told she couldnt have chocolate for breakfast, she fetched her charlie&lola doll and said "lola chocolate please?"

ive got another headache so may not be on much later, but i will do my best.

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 01/02/2009 19:41

Good luck Norty

I'm exhausted! Had a lovely family weekend, doing things about the house (tackling my famous list*! ), and playing with Jamlet, and me going for health-giving walks, and on top of all that I made a cake for DH to take to his work tomorrow.

  • For the record, we have put the xmas decorations and a load of baby stuff in the loft, put up a toilet roll holder and a coat rack, taken a large bag of toys to the charity shop, weeded the front garden and bought a new light for the front room, though that won't go up until next weekend now. I am officially impressed.

You feeling any better Bumper after a bit of time out?

TALLULAHBELLE · 01/02/2009 20:08

Best of luck Norty. Look forward to hearing your news.

Sputnik · 01/02/2009 20:18

Sounds like Norty may have gone in sooner than she thought. Anyway, best of luck, we are all rooting for you

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 01/02/2009 20:51

Best of luck norty, hope it all goes well. I'm really looking forward to a nice birth story and some gorgeous pics. I'm v excited for you (and maybe a teensy bit )!!

Well done for tackling those tasks jammy. Dp and I had a day like that last week and it was very tiring, so I feel your pain!

FrazzledFairyFay · 02/02/2009 08:54

Good morning. Any word from Norty? I hope all this snow hasn't caused too many problems for her

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 02/02/2009 11:50

now where is everyone? i know your all indoors cos the snow means no transport.. so no excuses about being at work or school
teehee!
we just struggled half a mile to the nearest open shop as we were nearly out of gas and ALL out of food (monday is our tesco day)
kids loving the snow tho, ellen keeps saying "snow!!" and spinning in circles.
got some good pictures, will stick them on FB and profile later.

so, WHERE ARE YOU ALL?

JammyQueenOfTheNewYear · 02/02/2009 11:55

Actually Natty I AM at work! Despite my "human alarm clock" not waking until 7.45 instead of 6.45 (or 6.30, or 6.00 ...) so us all being in a rush, and despite the snow, and despite the car not starting so we had to wait half an hour to charge the battery, and despite "madam" having a big poop and needing changing just as we were finally about to go, despite all that I was in at work for 9.10 .

Hoping all is well with the Nortys.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 02/02/2009 11:59

jammy you are brave, u should have called in lol!

was jamlets nursery open then? i think its cos i live in a "country bumkin" (as DH says) area, everything is closed, no transport, roads not salted and too dangerous to drive (if we had a car)

keepingitRia · 02/02/2009 12:48

hello.

PC miraculously fixed itself this morning

will try to catch up later (DS1 not at school due to snow so am having to do parenting) but let me know anything I need to know urgently.

It's good to be back
