at Foxy as Margot

OK, bed and a book for me. Have jamlet booked into the creche at 9.30 tomorrow, then we'll be out until after lunch, so see you ladies tomorrow

Ohforfoxsake · 24/02/2009 21:59

Jammy - you are doing really well at your healthy plan. Well done you.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 24/02/2009 22:04

hey guys!
ive had no internet connection cos virgin are arses.
but its sorted now.. missed ya!
no chance of catching up tonight, but will try my best tomorrow.

hope everyone is ok xx

keepingitRia · 25/02/2009 09:18

hey natty, how did the CAB go?

some scary dresses there daisy, though like the black and white one.

today.

Last night turned into a nightmare, DH had all the boys in tears before bed, and I have the kitchen cupboards to finish cleaning out today after the spilt tea incident last night. No need for a gorgeous frock here

keepingitRia · 25/02/2009 09:21

DH has just tied up baggins curls in my hair bobble, must get some black velvet ribbon.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 25/02/2009 09:34

it didnt lol its tomorrow

how are you?

keepingitRia · 25/02/2009 09:52

ah, Tuesday/Thursday, it's all the same to me

feeling rough still, thanks, but will have to motivate today as I emptied the cupboard last night to clean the tea out, and put other stuff away instead (basically cos all the stuff needed the tea washing off and it was late). I always make more work for myself. I wish the housework fairy would come...

about David Camerons son.

Good luck Doggus BTW.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 25/02/2009 10:10

I had a huge clearout of my cupboards, got all my appliances out cleaned them and put them on the sides (i actually have a kitchen bigger then the size of a stamp and can now do this)

i think i have too many gadgets.. is a blender, food processor, toastie maker, kettle, toaster and steamer to much?
my worktop looks like the contents on the argos value range!!!

and i decided to do this at 11.30 last night.

i think im going mad.

ellen wont let me get up this morning, she is cuddling me and if i get out of bed she screams "no cuddle!"
so morning in bed for me, thomas has just joined us too.

hard life eh?

Sputnik · 25/02/2009 10:19

Ooh did I miss the style challenge?
How about this?

in green or pink

floral enough?

Was wondering what Twiggy was up to these days

LackaDAISYcal · 25/02/2009 11:13

Have you seen the news? David Cameron's oldest son has died . It's truly awful for him and his family. I hope the media leave him and his family alone to grieve in private.

bumble is on his sixth change this morning. He just keeps puking, but seems happy and smiley in himself; no grumps, no obvious discomfort, no temperature, just constant puking. He had a bit of diahorrea yesterday but again was happy and smiley. very odd.

DD has been making papier-mache up her nose with tissues and snot again. Grumpy seems to be her default state these days; she is doing my head in.

hey natty..missed you last night.

nice frocks sputnik...i like the green strapless one. Twiggy does modelling for M&S as well; she's in all the adverts here.

keepingitRia · 25/02/2009 11:36

I like the second one sputnik, but no way could I wear strapless, not without an environmental health warning.

Just done the medicine cupboard - need a sit down, it's like a small branch of boots

bored now...

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/02/2009 13:29

I like that first dress, in pink, Sputnik.

I feel like getting a load of new clothes, but seems pointless if I aim to shed loads of weight in the next few months. Have got a pair of jeans and some decent underwear coming from M&S though to keep me going

Gym was good this morning (though too busy). But I can now do 2 circuits without feeling like I'm going to collapse at the end, so should arrange to see one of the trainers to get my programme advanced I would have given a 3rd circuit a go this morning but it was just too busy, might have to go a bit later in future.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 25/02/2009 13:42

sad about camrons son

good on you going to the gym again, im starting a diet from friday, ive put 2 stone on in 5 months and midwife has told me to watch what im eating as thats possibly contributing to my bad back and sore heads.
so not a low fat diet as such.. just replacing the chocolate and crap with veg and fruit. wish me luck!

good im bored, kids in room watching telly (and hopefully going to sleep) ive banned cebeebies in my living room cos its just driving me nuts and not being watched. they have the old telly in their room with a cheapie freeveiw box and often ask to go their room to watch telly.
which is lovely as up till now they wouldnt play in their rooms, now they are playing and watching telly, and i cant cook/clean etc without children hanging off my legs/arms cos they are bored.

dresses all look lovely, i LOVE the moonson one! daisy if u remember where u saw the cheap one let me know!

im bored..

keepingitRia · 25/02/2009 15:45

well done jammy. I really need to get my motivation back I would love some new clothes, but I AM NOT buying any more in this size.

I have 2 shelves left (I've even done the waterstones cookery section!) and various useless crap scattered round the surfaces waiting for me to put it away. It would be so much easiet if I could bring myself to bag it up and take it to the charity shop, but you just never know when you're going to need it.

I'm bored too natty. DH is actually out tonight. He is doing a dinner for a clay shoot, and the hotel got it wrong last night which is why he ended up home yelling at the kids. And I don't know what to do for tea.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/02/2009 15:52

Me & jamlet are having a spicy vegetable stew with some (reduced fat) cocounut milk in. And baked potatos.

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 25/02/2009 16:27

we're having leftover chicken meat from roast sunday and random veg in the fridge that looks like it wont go another day...

the kids wont stop fighting. which ends in ellen getting hurt and me carrying her on my hip.

im getting this weird pain in my tummy everytimei have to lift one of them the last few days, like a muscle is trapped almost. not good when ellen wants picking up every 10 mins.

ho hum, i should be cleaning. i have a spotless kitchen and a shit hole of a living room.
why is it i can only get one room clean at a time? bed u by the time kids in bed the kitchen will be a state and the living room will be tidy.

where is everyone today?

NattyPlus2andAHalf · 25/02/2009 19:10

i just scared myself fucking silly.

i slipped and went flying in the kids room because thomas had thrown books everywhere this morning and i i was trying to pick them up whilst they were in the bath.

i came down bloody hard, and started getting contractions.
they stopped after a few minutes and ive listened to the heart beat on the doppler, which seems fine. am in no pain now, and baby kicking away as usual.

but still

fucking hell

keepingitRia · 25/02/2009 19:14

as soon as they're in bed get yourself sat down with a cup of tea - That's an un-Ria-like ORDER!

bloody kids and their bloody toys. Our house is a deathtrap.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/02/2009 19:15

Have a nice sit down, as Ria barked said, Natty. Sod anything you were planning on doing this evening (such as washing up, washing, ironing etc) and get yourself some rest!
