oops if you don't mind I'm going to steer well clear of trying to give you any advice re this especially when you're going to BF cafe and can speak to someone who knows what they're talking about - I do hope it settles down soon though

Sazz pull yourself together love, english stiff upper lip please

ROFL at thought of you doing needlepoint - did you go to London and come home via Candleford?!?

oopsacoconut · 27/01/2009 22:14

VG - in answer to your very technical question - it looks like one of the holes (Iwas trying to figure out how to add that point in my original mail and couldn't find the right words so left it out!)

ataraxis · 27/01/2009 22:15

Bloody bastard wireless keeps dropping out. I have lost about 5 posts so far.

vg at babysearching.

Wish I had the baby listening skills of those on Shameless (non of their other traits though, and would be more than a little worried if dd was saying those things)

oooooohhhhh and another bit of news........... my pudding baby decided today was a good day to roll, she rolled front to back, so like a pushy mother I turned her into a performng seal and made her do it over and over again for the video camera. Now I think I might have broken her rolling mechanism she refused to do it for DH when he came home.

oopsacoconut · 27/01/2009 22:22

ataraxis here are a few, if you can narrow it down to some things that you like then that will give me an idea of your style/thinking

phase eight good for dresses/smarter outfits and occassion stuff

oasis smart casual stuff great and good sizing/finishes

warehouse good basics and tailoring

fcuk bit pricey at times but good for one piece e.g. top which can be put with jeans etc for night out

now for basics/classics GAP, NEXT and M&S can't be beaten

if you can be bothered going into Debenhams they normally have a COAST outlet which is fab and for some smarter gear without going 'worky' I'd head to Wallis or Principles

wallis and principles

a bit different/patterned or quirky I'd be going to H&M, New Look or Primark

now does any of that help at all or is it too vague?

abercrombie & fitch they now do UK home delivery which is fab as their trousers are great, pricey but I've had a pair since 2000 and they're fab - not that I fit into them now but I'm keeping them till I do!!

peacocks another good one for one off cheapies

Night All - Lovely child has decided that chatting is the right thing to do when you want food - she has been singing for the last 10 minutes - she needs to go to bed it is bedtime!!!(for me at least)
