AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARG H

Is it too late to hire Nigella?

Northernlurker · 30/01/2009 19:21

What has the horrible new look done to my post?????

Where did all that space come from????

Northernlurker · 30/01/2009 19:53

Oh thank goodness - I've got it looking a bit more how I like it now. Logged into 'my mumsnet' then customised back to classic and I think I can live with it.

CaptainDippy · 30/01/2009 20:31

NL. You are mad.

MJreturns · 30/01/2009 20:39

Evening all. I don't like this new look, it seems awfully bright and it is hurting my eyes I have changed it to classic too, and I still don't like it!

SOL, glad your mum is doing ok, have a great weekend xxx

Been in work today, bit of busy one but weekend off now which is good!

We have sewage leaking onto our patio and saw last night that our carbon monoxide detector was blackwe have been feeling dizzy, nauseous, headachey for a while...am really freaked out and had all windows open last night.
Landlady said that I had prob been using heating boiler more as it has been colddon't know why that would make a difference.
Anyway waiting for landlord to come over.
Have good day all....Doobydoo signing off from stinkbomb stinky house.x

I forgot to say - he has been selected for McKays - photoshoot next week!

StealthPo09IsHere · 31/01/2009 11:11

GM - you'll have to let us know when he's in it!

Does anyone else's LO seem to spend all their time screaming? I am getting really worn out from it all.

geordieminx · 31/01/2009 11:26

C is terrible for throwng tantrums at the moment. I wouldnt let him have the bottle of talc this morning - he threw himself on the floor crying for 5 minutes

SPB - You'll know when he's in - my mum will be camped outside every store in the North east telling people that he's her grandson

StealthPo09IsHere · 31/01/2009 11:50

lol - she'll have to figure out how to clone herself first
Think MIL buys DS clothes from there (are they M&Co?) so she will get me a catalogue I'm sure.

CaptainDippy · 31/01/2009 18:19

Dooby - hope you can get it sorted soon, that is dangerous!!

Yep, try tripling the screaming I am sure Caz could beat us all though, hands down!!

Elkie - are you having that baby yet??

StealthPo09IsHere · 31/01/2009 21:01

Glad it's not just T although I am convinced it's related to lack of talking

elkiedee · 31/01/2009 21:22

Hi all

SPB/GM, lots of screaming and tantrums here.

Self-absorbed whinge warning

No baby yet, sadly. Bit of a miserable day as dp and I had a huge argument over trivia this morning, or perhaps the third instalment of the same argument. I ended up going back to bed for a cry until my dad arrived to visit us - we all went out and sort of patched things up but I'm still feeling pretty fragile. And this has got to be the only time when I feel disappointed that funny aches and pains ease off!

D gave my bump a goodnight kiss tonight. He's a challenging little hooligan but he's very cute sometimes.

StealthPo09IsHere · 31/01/2009 21:25

elkie, so sorry you're arguing.
lol at D kissing your bump goodnight - very cute!

CaptainDippy · 01/02/2009 09:25

It is to be expected, Elkie. you are prob both very tired and fed-up my lovely. You more. Hope little one decides to arrive soon Feb babies are very lovely indeed - DD1 is one!!

Northernlurker · 01/02/2009 09:52

Dippy is quite right Elkie - you're stressed because the baby hasn't arrived and you're worrying about induction and dp is stressed because you're stressed and there's nothing he can do about that. Men (huge generalisation I know) always cope badly with emotional stuff they can't influence or control.

Well we survived the party yesterday - it was really fun actually and all the little girls were so good and sweet - they really enjoyed the baking Off to my parents in a minute - my mum is being licenced for lay ministry tonight so we're going down for the day to giver her some support. The service isn't till 6.30 though so we will be very late home (mum and dad are in Lincolnshire) Poor dh has to get up at unearthly o'clock tomorrow to go to Surrey for the day. Right best get on.......is it wrong to eat fairy cakes for breakfast? They're left over from yesterday and are very yummy!
