Exciting news about Elkie!!
Hope all goes well will keep popping back for updates (think I've missed the boat on getting my phone number to her in time).

I either have a vomiting bug to add to the dodgy sinuses or my morning sickness is back. I've been sick about 8 times today. Don't fancy food and have slept a lot. I hope it's bug as I cna't feel like this for another 13 weeks!

We've had a few inches of snow here but nothing major.

Also she said the carbon monoxide detector wasn't that black!..dp said well we would only be a little bit dead then! Ridiculous isn't it?

ds1 will be going into 5th class in uk'if they have a place.We must remember not to say feck all the time and the boys need to remember their manners as they can be a tad feral
M loves the Wiggles and can say the word and he loves Pingu and tractors and diggers.

School appears to be open, although the school the childminder's little girl goes to is closed (it's actually our closest school but not our catchment school - go figure!)

Seeing as my 2 were both up at midnight they're still in bed and it's staying that way until the last possible minute!

Morning all! No news from elkie then? Hope all is well with her

No school here today, snow on the ground. It's not that bad, but tbh I don't fancy trying to get the car out in it! Ds is obviously very chuffed to have the day off and wants to make a snowman. We don't have that much snow so I think it might take a bit of doing! I will be collecting all the snow from the front and back gardens At least I have my wellies!!

I've just lost my balance several times and all I did was take the bin to the end of the driveway

Everywhere we had snow or water, we now have ice. Radio have just reported a car gone up the embankment on the A14, right on the bit between here and school. Arse!

I've decided to go into town, by bus! Once the bus gets out of my lane it's main roads so it should be ok I need to pay a cheque in(which is a rare event!) and we've arranged to meet eandh in town to have lunch

dd says she doesn't want to go out and play in the snow today as it's cold that novelty wore if PDQ

Just popping in for news from Elkie . Good thing she's in London - if she was here she'd probably be having an impromptu homebirth! Still loads of snow here, no school, and I have told the people I was supposed to be working for today in Lewes that it's not safe to come out, so we are all hunkering down here for the day.

Hello everyone else

We still have a lot of snow here, we've just been out and built a snowman. Jake's school not closed, but I decided not to brave it up the slope out of our street after I'd seen cars slip back down
