Oooggs, that photo of ds1 and ds3 is gorgeous. The big brother looks ecstatic! And I can't believe how grown up Jack and Erin are.
Lovely to hear from you, glad all is well in the oooggs household

MJreturns · 23/01/2009 21:16

Sleep well SOL. I am doing fine with dh on nights tbh. I am just used to it now!

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2009 23:24

Ds3 is gorgeous oooggs

I am sooo tired, but wanted to pop by quickly before bed - byeeeeeee.....

CaptainDippy · 23/01/2009 23:29

Hairdresser tomorrow am

runnyhabbit · 24/01/2009 08:53

I can't possibly be the first one on....

Oooggs - such a gorgeous photo Ds1 obv knows that he has a very important job of bossing his younger siblings around looking after his brothers and sister

cazboldy · 24/01/2009 09:08

Awww lovely photo Oooggs.... ds1 looks thrilled....

How are you feeling?

Molly is doing ok, sleeping lots, drinking lots (both good) but is very grumpy when she is awake.

Charlie is clinging to me like a limpet.... I think that he is worried that I am going to disappear again because Molly is poorly.

Good Luck at the hair dressers Dippy.

SOL, Glad that your Mum was ok with the chemo, and Good Luck with the job.

Doobydoo · 24/01/2009 09:35

Fab photos OOOGGS
Sorry re your tooth NL.I hate going to dentist eek. There is an old Irish curse...something along the lines of 'May yyou have but one tooth in your head and may it ache!'
Caz...poor Molly.I expect Charlie wants to make sure you stay[like you said]Hope Molly recovers well and you aren't too knackered
Good luck with job SOL.
eeK CAN'T REMEMBER ANYMORE.
m HAD A WEE ON HIS POTTY THIS MORNING!!!That is prob it now till he is 5/
Have good day ladies.xx

Bramshott · 24/01/2009 10:28

Oooggs - thanks for uploading the lovely photo - DS3 looks gorgeous, and DS1 looks so proud! I bet he will be really helpful with Luke as the age gap is quite a good one isn't it? Do take care of yourself - are you co-sleeping with DS3?

SOL - good luck with the job. Will that also be 3 days?

Elkie - hang in there. He/she will be here before you know it!

One of my friends here had her DD2 yesterday morning - soooo exciting! Only 2 days overdue so much relief all round.

Sending thoughts to Caz, 2HotCross and anyone else who is having a crap time of it at the moment.

I have had a very mixed week - day from hell on Wed when my filling fell out and I crashed the car (not too badly, but it needs a new back light and possibly a new bumper), but then redeemed by yesterday when the dentist fixed my tooth in 1 appointment with a brand new white filling (NL - it was very easy and pain free - no drilling if they are replacing a filling that's come out), and the maternity allowance people sent me a cheque for £1300 I was not expecting This is for the period I was back at work last year but still officially entitled to MA - I had assumed I wouldn't get anything because I was back at work (that's the way SMP works isn't it?) but because I only worked 2 days a week, they have paid me MA for all the other days!!!!! Will more than pay to fix the car at least

Have also been meaning for ages to say to NL that I laughed a lot at your MIL's Christmas present! Nearly as good as the person (also in the round up) whose MIL gave them their set of aluminium pans "because we've heard they cause Alzeheimers"

Love the photo oooggs

leakyR · 24/01/2009 13:23

Lovely photo Oooggs and good to hear that all the dc love their new brother.

SOL - glad your mum's chemo went well and will cross things for your job application.

CD - hope the hairdresser has managed to make the girls look better. I seem to remember cutting my brothers hair when i was about 4.

G had his first haircut this morning. It's fine and very white and slightly curly so it has been looking a wispy mess for ages. DH said he was very good while it was being cut. Bless. He looks more grown up now.

Nice to see zazas.

Hope things get better for Caz and 2HCB.

Eddas I think your dd sounds fantastic, but I understand the panic at hometime!

Going to soft play this afternoon. Think it may be like one of hell's lower circles

leakyR · 24/01/2009 13:24

BTW Coffee on Thursday was fine. Only 5 mums and 7 kids and G was mostly good about sharing his toys

CaptainDippy · 24/01/2009 13:36

LOL @ soft play being one of Hell's Lower Circle and LOL @ the "aluminium pans causing Alzeimer's You guys do make me chuckle!

Girl's hair looking a lot better. DD2's looks like it did when was about 2.5 yrs (took us FOREVER to grow it into a lovely bob ) and they have cut out all the blonde as well!! DD1's hair looks ... erm .... very French .... very chic .... VERY VERY short! Still looks pretty horrendeous at the back where she chopped down to the scalp, but should it ok in a few weeks, I hope They look heaps better anyway and I did get a "confession" from DD1 .... she did all the cutting as DD2 didn't have the dexterity for the scissors (obviuosly my nearly 5 year old didn't use the word 'dexterity' ) So there you go ..... deep sigh ....

leakyR · 24/01/2009 14:58

LOL Dh has just told me that this morning the barber said to him
"Do you want to keep some of his hair?"
and he replied
"We just want it trimming the wife will kill me if you cut it all off!"

The nice lady then explined to him that she meant did he want some hair in an envelope as it's G's first haircut

Glad the girls look better CD

We haven't ventured out yet as the boy is having a HUUUGE nap.

CaptainDippy · 24/01/2009 15:12

LOL Leaky Bloomin' men, eh!!?

P is sleeping mammothly too .... girls are making life-size cut-outs of themselves and I am popping out to PO.

leakyR · 24/01/2009 20:47

Quiet tonight.

Don't tell me you've all gone and got lives?

Soft play was fun. Think the big bumpy slide might have been a mistake. Had a few Braxton Hicks after!

CaptainDippy · 24/01/2009 23:20

Whoops! you'll be ok, I walked up a steep hill, carrying DD's 1&2 while in labour with P!! I'm crazy!!

If you are my FB friend, there's an album dedicated to the event that rocked our household last Thurs morning!!

StealthPo09IsHere · 25/01/2009 09:27

oh dear Dippy! They will never live it down.
Morning everyone, dreadful night here, so we are planning to get trhough the day until bedtime

StealthPo09IsHere · 25/01/2009 09:27

apart from T who is on a mission, not sure what it is yet but I'm sure it wil become clear

elmajo · 25/01/2009 09:39

Morning all

T being on a mission sounds ominous SPB

J isn't well again, ears were hurting him more last night. Had to give him ibruprofen and that makes him hyper. Consequently he's not had enough sleep and is being a nightmare.

We're off home soon, hopefully J will sleep on the journey

cazboldy · 25/01/2009 09:59

Dippy no just a trim then!

no wonder you were/are so upset!

Hi everyone
Hope you had/are having a good journey elma
Sorry you're missing scotland Luce - I bet things will very quickly feel normal there
T's missions seemed to involve jumping off two packs of nappies and running the other side of the room. It passed...
DH has taken him out for a walk to give me some time to do some jobs. But instead I am eating, again!

CaptainDippy · 25/01/2009 15:16

Need to pop out to get buttons, ribbon and wool to finish off DD1's World Book Day costume .....

Madness!!

Thanks for the sympathy re: Hair Massacre guys

So hard to move to a new place, hope you make friends asap. xx

Hope J is better soon elmajo. xx

oooggs · 25/01/2009 19:29

Luce - I really feel for you - not sure I could relocate

Dippy - oh dear

my boobs hurt I am squirting milk everywhere and I am in lots of pain - it will pass won't it?????

ellie - hope J feels/is better soon and that you had a fab time at the pesha household

Luke seems very content and I forget he is about (during th day!!) at night he is a milk monster and cos it hurts I am fully awake and aware of every mouthful, I did have the feeding laying down sorted but now it hurts I am not doing that so much

Erin & Jack have been amazing with him today and both wanting to cuddle him all the time hope it lasts, I think it helps as he isn't demanding and therefore not affecting their day.

hope everyone is well and I still need to do some finer details.

Northernlurker · 25/01/2009 19:33

Yes it will pass Oooggs - sounds like he's obviously doing a great job of stimulating your supply and your nipples have got to get used to the old industrial suction thing again - but it will pass. Have you checked his mouth for thrush just in case though?
